@Dhakra if you don’t watch then I highly recommend you spoil yourself with the ending.  It was a brilliant piece of story telling.  I would say the best I have seen for a long time.  I really liked how it dealt with the whole topic (which is hardly ever talked about).  It never once left me bereft of hope.  And that’s the beautiful thing about it.  
 

If I remember right, when the big reveal happened, the youngsters who had stayed were still scratching their heads and the older ones needed to explain things to them.  A lot of the younger ones left because  the plot seemed ridiculous.  But the older amongst us stayed... and when the reveal happened... it was glorious.  All the pieces fit together.  And by that time you were so invested in the characters that you knew every subsequent episode would bring tears... but they were happy ones.

try watching a drama with no kiss or almost a kiss in between  hahaha though i understand it might be because the staring lead is barely 18 still you can almost feel like knocking their lips together to get it over with

And RomCom on steroids? I can't even bear a RomCom on good-night tea. 

If it’s of any help, I can tell you it’s not a time-travel drama. It is not a fantasy drama too. I know it’s confusing but I cannot say anymore than that, otherwise I would ruin the whole storytelling that was so carefully and wonderfully crafted. 

 

@Ameera Ali I think I kinda drop Nokdu now... still have 4 episodes to watch but don’t feel like watching... dislike the palace thing. Gimme back the Widow Village

@ktcjdrama finished it when you got a time latest episodes I find  answer everything, about everyone  , is better ending than matchmaker drama ( selling it to @Lawyerh )

I love watching nokdu when he was a lady kim WKWKWKWK  the way he talks made feel like I want to laugh and pee  hahaha  widow vilage is the best lol. When eun soo put lipstick on his lips hahahaha.. oh gosh bring me chills feeling lol but also excited  wkkwkwkw

Is it already finished? Like 16 episodes done in the books?

 

Ah see, big mistake. Never recommend me anything that's finished. I hate the possibility of having the option to binge watch anything. That always ends up in me throwing away 3 days and not do anything else. My whole life suffers from binge watching. I like the two episodes per week cycle. 

So if any drama has a lot of potential, tell me when the first 4-6 episodes have aired. And now I can't even join the thread anymore.

 

Sigh......why am I surrounded by amateurs?  You all know me for so long now! That is basic Dhakra stuff!

You need a knock on your head ...I only just discovered this drama myself , how to recommend to you when it was ongoing ?????  . ...I’m still watching ...ehhh don’t forget you binge watch many dramas that were brilliant too . Currently plowing through Secret Forest 1 (Stranger)...so I have context for Secret Forest 2 next year.  @triplem you’re not wrong when you mentioned LJH is a slimy character.  Why does he always pick these?  I want to just appreciate him as a straight up good guy for once without having to second guess him.  Maybe Lies Within is the drama for that. .  We’ll find out next week.  And his latest with NJH for next year looks promising.  Was he a good guy in A Poem a day?  I heard it wasn’t particularly good plot wise?

Yeah he likes playing all sorts of characters. He was a loyal assistant in Are You Human Too . A Poem A Day was my favourite. It’s a slice of life / rom -com.  He was a straight up good guy . But there was a really strong love triangle there but of course I’m team LJH . Jang DY ( Nokdu lead ) was the other option. I like the actor but I was not a fan of his character there .
