Welcome back! That’s a lot of cities to visit in one week! Hope it was fun.

Yea, I saw some really handsome oppas from Japan a few weeks ago on my business trip. But yesterday there were just some boring men in suits in the airplane.

Lindit Lindor Milk Round Chocolate (200g) – New Kampala Service Station

So Chingu's - radical change of subject from the confectionery kind - lets talk for moment on  "Amnesia"

One of if not the most cliche' Kdrama tropes ... but if you HAD to watch it in a drama, which is more believable/acceptable - Partial Amnesia, or Full memory loss Amnesia?

You mean

Thaaat amnesia where the lead get their memories back later ?

The question is too complicated for me when i look through medical terms.

I will slide  it off chingu.

Its too complicated for my brain.

By the way

Sis @agenth

The only drama that am watching now is if you wish upon me. The drama gives warmth to me.:please:

I love soo young in Run On but the character in this doesnt suit her.

My Boy is slaying the role and am in love with him.

Yes - usually after revisiting the moment or similar moment that caused it in the first place - I know its bad, I'm just trying to figure out the least offensive version storywise

Are you by chance writing your own script?

I think partial amnesia is more believable, but of course the amnesia always concerns forgetting all about one’s boyfriend/ girlfriend.

Great article chingu ... but

" ... At least in makjang dramas, all these bizarre twists like birth secrets and amnesia are resolved and the audience can heave a sigh of relief at the end. ... "

That noise I made at the end of Miss MonteCristo wasn't a sigh

Short story long ... fanfiction

A few years ago a character died near the end of a drama that I was highly invested in, and its been doing laps in my head ever since.  The only issue is there was a time jump in the drama, and as this character, (that I will offer did not die), didn't show up after the time jump, there has to be a reason for the characters absence.

As this character had both extensive social & business connections, as well as immense financial resources, there is no credible explanation for a multiple years absence save for amnesia - and here I am

You nailed it - thats exactly why I'm driven to use amnesia, a character in love would not knowingly have a loved one believe them dead for years without attempting at least discrete contact - (I'm going to purposefully ignore Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol here

I think its gotta be partial ...

sometimes in these dramas, I think it is better if these characters never remember.

that always cracks me up but it can be entertaining as well. in the tw drama "autumn's concerto", he gets brainwashed to forget only her. :joy:

Nice that you’ll be writing a fanfic!

Believe it or not, I have some thoughts on all of this, chingu, but I’ll write more once I get home from dinner. :gangnamstyle:
