My thoughts are with everyone who has dear Joo Hyuk in their hearts. He will be cherished forever.

I feel really, really depressed now... but i'm relieved that JY has been reached and notified. Imagine the news he received, miles away from from. It must be devastating and heartbreaking. 

 

Seeing all the photos of people attending crhing and shedding tears gave me real sadness but that last bow from the people who knew and loved him made me cried so hard, no one can console me, right now.

In our general paying-our-last-respect customs, we would pass the deceased's coffin and pray for them. But in Korean culture, the bow really hit me. It is indeed what last respects meant. 

I dont know how many times I have to say this but, We will miss you Kim Joohyuk. May he rest in peace now.

Yes, I've been thinking the same thing. I can imagine it'd be too difficult for the cast members and even the staff to resume shooting so soon. I think they'll get at least a few weeks. Their 10th anniversary overseas trips will probably be good for at least 3 episodes/weeks so they'll have a little bit more time before they have to resume.

If they ever had to make a special episode, like a tribute episode, maybe in the future not at this closest time, i am ever so curious how each one of these members reacted after receiving the news that evening. 

 

....CTH was probably sobbing in front of his wife (whom had also met our brother before), Jongmin in his crazy scheduled being informed about it and crying with Shinji, DefConn would be bawling his eyes out even worst than during the wake, Junho probably never saw it coming and cried even worst at home without anyone knowing, DG might have cried a bit at home but had to pulled himself together. And what was stated, JJY was in shock and despair? Imagine how he would have felt at the time, exhausted from the shoot and then sobbing upon hearing the news plus being miles away frm Korea to receive the shocking news days after. JY is the last person amongst these close friends to know about it (i couldnt even picture how he would hve cried his eyes out becoz our maknae rarely show signs of grief. Sad, yes but sobbing heavily???)....

 

It would have been more painful to us fans if our brother stayed on the show. He left knowing everything on the show would be alright and hopes nothing but the best for show. He even gave his full support by watching the show. He had high hopes in pursuing his acting career but 2d1n had left a mark on him that it contributed to having him doing so well in acting after. He once said in one of his last interviews, he finally knows in what direction his acting career would be. He was indeed in much happier place and much more content than ever days prior as he won his last award. And so he left us as a happy man (though there are things he still wanted to achieve but never got to do so). Let us fans continue his dreams and goals by keeping and watching his works and laughed together when he was still on the show. He would be happy if we were happy because of him. Not because he is our Gutaeng but him just being him.

seeing the faces of the members and the crew, i could understand their emotions very well.

 

resignation. acceptance. and keeping up a strong front for the sake of everyone else dear to them. it's definitely hard.

 

tae hyun, junho, defconn, jongmin, yoo pd, ilyong pd, insook pd. for the sake of the rest of the family, they have to be strong.

 

i'm glad joon young have been able to be contacted. at the very least, it'll stop all those nonsense surrounding the communication breakdown. and the most, he will be able to grief in his own way before coming home to pay respect, and join the rest to commiserate together.

 

@ryanallright lee yoo young to be granted the honour to escort the body in the car shows how much everyone think of her. i  though perhaps his older brother or even ceo kim will be together, but i guess, older brothers being older brothers, they have to keep things under control until the end.

 

@ebullient for once, i'm really glad that the strike is ongoing. i doubt anyone will be in any condition to actually work, no matter how professional they are.

 

for now, partly in my own selfish way, i'll light a stick to you, dear nicotinepath. your new journey has just begun...

Defconn began, “My heart feels heavy and apologetic as I have to return to work after sending away my hyung who went to sleep eternally,” and shared, “Our hyung who cannot be expressed with any words, he was warmer and more passionate than anyone else in the world.”

It still feels all too surreal. I still can't process everything. This is what 2D1N does to you. If makes you attached to the cast and now that 1 of them is gone, I feel like family member died. We just recently rewatched the new year episode where they went to KJH's home and he seemed so happy and they even mentioned that he's dating someone. It was a hoot as his "luck" on the show seemed to carry on despite the fact that he already left. He made a mark on a lot of people, not just as an actor, but 2D1N made him more human. I'm not sure I can watch old episodes and not feel sad.

It hard to convey how sad and disbelief I feel right now how I wish this is just very long nightmare but  sadly it reality I need to accept

but it gonna took long time to move on or I never will since he will always be huge part in my heart and I will never forget you. 

Sigh all the funeral pics too heartbreaking especially Junho crying and everybody try so hard to hold back their tears.. 

I hope they get time to grief and not filming right away especially Taehyun should get lot of rest since he staying for 3days straight there? 

I'm glad for the strike right now at least they don't need to shooting right away hopefully? 

I'm glad his girlfriend given the honor to send him off.. She such strong woman I hope she will be fine and getting support from her family and friends during this time..

 

I wanna hug JJY so bad I hope he will safely return to Korea and not getting bother by media once he return

I still can't believe that Kim Joo Hyuk went to sleep eternally (as what Defconn said) 

 

His smiles, laughters, or when he resigned to his luck when playing games are still fresh in our mind.

 

As a fan, i find it hard to move on. Can you imagine? His family, friends and colleagues would even be harder. Hope they will stay strong.

 

Watching 2D1N will be not be the same anymore. But, we believe 2D1N members and production team will stay strong too.

I guess he’s really gone forever now, uri KJH, who was always warm, lovable and kind-hearted. He had always cared for everyone when he was on 2d1n. He’s a respectable figure and despite the dongsaengs who always teased him, we all know how much they admired and looked up to him. May the ones he left behind find strength and may u rest in peace, KJH. We will always remember and cherish u in our heart

I had never imagined this scenario.

I was anticipating them to gather up on their Hyung's wedding day but instead at his funeral... was too early and so sudden (for me really hard to accept up to now). As seen on the videos, there were celebrities who repeatedly shook their head like saying they couldn't believe too he's already gone.
