@Maetawinz Yups so true asian drama are getting more platform specially netflix,apple tv,hulu and other platforms are producing original content.There are more opening to work and more international fans can watch.But she is more active on social site compare to earlier days.

Hi Everyone,

 

I know I have been absent for a long time and I feel so awkward writing here now ~~
 

Those last 2 years weren't that good for most people and RL took the front stage making me less interested in many things that I previously loved but still found new interests to somehow balance my life. I keep myself updated through SNS but other than that I find myself less able to write or talk to anyone even in RL.

 

I really hope you are all fine, happy to see @Annya and @Maetawinz Posts. Missed you guys 

 

Like all of you, I still miss our girl. Thankfully she is active on her SNS which at least makes me happy seeing her enjoying her life but really I still deeply miss her acting. It is sad to see her lose the career she build up for a long time.

 

I don't have high hopes on an acting comeback but I still hope her new agency can provide her some gigs in Korea like variety show appearances or endorsements or drama cameo or something that would at least match her legacy.

 

I am not sure if anybody would see or reply to this post soon since the thread is quite inactive but know that I thank you if you still check on this thread which has been here for 15 years

 

I will post again about some of the latest activities our girl did that I found quite nice which actually what encouraged me to write here again and made me feel that may be her agency is doing some moves

Last month, it was revealed that Dahae lent her voice to an Audio book 'The Time We Were Together' including winning stories in a contest organized in partnership with the World Vision organization to convey the value of good deeds to more people.

 

She participated with other 6 actors among them is veteran actress Kim Hye-ja and label mate Jo Hyun-jae. You can hear the audio book in this link, her story is number 6 in the list (you have to expand the whole list to see it). I really miss her voice speaking Korean and I wouldn't mind if she get a chance to have some voice role acting in some animation movie

@apqaria Hi dear long time no see.Good to see u back.Hope u are doing fine.

I liked her white dress pic more then black Even her audio book recording pic looks like magazine pic lol.Who know dear may be our girl doesn't want to work in multi star drama after EOE.Nowadays many drama are multistarrer.

Also there are many lee da hae on naver to search.While our girl is missing 3 new LDH are added lol.

 

We didn't see her in any variety show as guest.Hope we can see her soon taking project.Who know we can get surprise too

About our girl, it is not her problem alone but many of the actresses of her generation are hardly seen and usually takes some years between picking projects but some gets lucky with a good comeback that make them again in the spotlight. 

 

I am happy she is still trying to keep herself busy and enjoying her life regardless but yeah, it will be a great surprise for me if I get to see a news about a project of her but who knows

@apqaria Although i heard DH voice on audio book and on variety show talking to her BF But i like all her pretty dress she is wearing in all those SNS video and pics she uploads.I don't  like that weird face making app videos which she uploads.The apple animation onces are good but not the other.Some of videos are hilarious specially the one with that guys,its like watching small scene from drama.Jang Nara was always active... while even she was doing chinese drama like our girl.

@Annya I am not really into much of the contents she uploads since I am not into those kind of contents in general but still some are quite nice to watch. Like her dance classes videos, when she cook or workout giving some advice in those and the usual normal pictures and videos of her and with her dog, other stuff are not my thing really but it is good she is enjoying her time in general.

 

About actresses, of course some are still quite active but what I was saying some are having the same problems like Dahae and don't pick projects frequently. Like Han Ga-In, Yoon Eun-Hye, Han Ji-Hye, Ha Ji-Won and Moon Geun-Young are less frequently seen now compared to how they were years ago because of different reasons but with many new and younger accomplished actresses in the industry now, it will just keep getting harder.

 

I have long lost my interest in K-dramas and the entertainment industry there. I can watch a drama from time to time although I have problems finishing them but I really don't recognize most actors and actresses in the dramas lately so I stopped worrying much and just keep enjoying what we can get from her

Got a little busy lately so didn't get to post here although we got a lot of news.

 

Seems Dahae's appearance MBC variety show "Omniscient Interfering View"/"The Manager" have made some buzz and even made her get ranked in the Actor Brand list in the past two weeks. Dahae appeared on 2 episodes, although I still didn't watch them but from the cuts I saw, I think Dahae's new manager is quite fond of her and appreciate her personality, I hope he and the agency take good care of her and her career from now on

Lee Da Hae has shared some amusing stories about her relationship with Se7en!

On the latest episode of MBC’s “The Manager,” Lee Da Hae and Se7en made their first-ever joint variety show appearance as a couple. The two stars, who first publicly confirmed their relationship back in 2016, have been dating for seven years now.

While sharing a meal together with their mutual friend Choi Sung Joon, as well as Lee Da Hae’s manager, the couple talked about how they first started dating. Lee Da Hae explained that she hadn’t been romantically interested in Se7en at first, but that she had eventually started seeing him in a different light.

“Suddenly, from a certain point on, I became fond of him,” said the actress. “I didn’t dislike him [before], but it took some time for us to start dating.”

Describing how Se7en had finally asked her out at her birthday party, Lee Da Hae recalled, “He was looking at me, and then he suddenly said, ‘Da Hae, go out with me. Let’s date.’ I started talking about other things, so he asked, ‘Why aren’t you answering?’ So I said, ‘At our age, do we really have to [explicitly] respond to questions like that?!'”

When Lee Da Hae mentioned how they had initially tried to keep their relationship a secret, Choi Sung Joon teasingly pointed out that they hadn’t done a very good job hiding it. “You guys just went around on obvious dates together,” he said. “Sitting next to each other on airplanes isn’t really exercising caution. Other couples purposely fly on different airplanes.” Se7en replied, “We did take different airplanes for a year.”

Lee Da Hae went on to tell the story of a time they had traveled to Vietnam together early on in their relationship. “I had gone through customs first,” she explained, “and then the airport employee suddenly asked, ‘Excuse me, are you Se7en?’ I still laugh all the time whenever I remember this, but he said with an [awkwardly serious] expression, ‘No, I’m not.’ [The employee] said, ‘No, you’re Se7en! You’re my idol!’ and he said, ‘No, I’m not Se7en.'”

The couple also shared a hilarious story about a time they had gotten caught on a date at an amusement park.

“Since they sell lots of masks at amusement parks, and lots of people wear them there, we had a lot of fun there for a long time [while hiding our faces with masks],” said Lee Da Hae. “But after a while, three students came up to us and asked, ‘Excuse me, but by any chance, are you Se7en?'”

Se7en made everyone crack up by going on to recall that he had immediately let go of Lee Da Hae’s hand and started running away. Lee Da Hae chimed in with a laugh, “He just left me there, and as I was watching him running from far away, I thought to myself, ‘Can I really trust this guy in the future?’ He was so fast.”

She continued, “When we met up later, he took off his mask, and he looked like someone who had just showered. Sweat was dripping off his face as he asked me, ‘Are you okay?'” Se7en laughed in embarrassment, “I’m sweating now just thinking about it.”
