After seeing the photos, I have gotten excited to see the new drama.  I've been waiting for this. I'm so excited to see him again on the screen from his MS.  This looks very interesting! Woo Do Hwan Transforms Into An Attorney Who Seeks Revenge Through Law In New Historical Drama

 

MBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Joseon Attorney” (literal title) has unveiled the first stills of Woo Do Hwan!

 

“Joseon Attorney” tells the story of an oejibu (attorney in Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on the enemies who caused the death of his parents through a trial.

 

Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people.

 

Woo Do Hwan transforms into the protagonist Kang Han Soo, an attorney with great charm and intelligence. Kang Han Soo, who is knowledgeable in various fields including civil law, commercial law, and criminal law, files all sorts of lawsuits to avenge the enemies of his parents, who were killed unjustly, through law.

 

In the newly released stills, Kang Han Soo grabs attention in his colorful hanbok (Korean traditional attire). His confident and relaxed appearance shows oejibu Kang Han Soo’s charisma and charms.

His confident and relaxed bearing shows how successful he has been at defending his clients in numerous legal battles.  I've read that Kang Han Soo is a character who has a special ability to entice people with his silver tongue and knowledge of the law. I'm excited to watch how Woo Do Hwan carries out his very careful revenge plan. This new drama will premiere next month (March) following the conclusion of Kokdu: Season of Deity.

MBC’s upcoming drama “Joseon Attorney” shared a new look at the drama’s first script reading!

 

“Joseon Attorney” tells the story of an oejibu (attorney in Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on an enemy that caused the death of his parents through a trial. Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people. The upcoming drama stars Woo Do Hwan as the intelligent and charming attorney Kang Han Soo and Bona as the caring Princess Lee Yeon Joo.

 

Director Kim Seung Ho and scriptwriter Choi Jin Young were present at the script reading along with actors Woo Do Hwan, WJSN’s Bona, VIXX’s Cha Hak Yeon, Chun Ho Jin, Choi Moo Sung, Shin Dong Mi, Lee Kyu Sung, Song Geon Hee, and more.

 

From the get-go, Woo Do Hwan captivated with his transformation into Kang Han Soo, perfectly bringing to life his character’s gaze and manner of speech and raising anticipation for his portrayal of the eloquent and charming Kang Han Soo.

 

Bona similarly immersed herself into her role of Princess Lee Yeon Joo, who is both righteous and tenacious, while Cha Hak Yeon raised curiosity for his charismatic and cold character Yoo Ji Sun.

 

 

Furthermore, Chun Ho Jin, Choi Moo Sung, Shin Dong Mi, Lee Kyu Sung, and Song Geon Hee each enriched the drama further with their unique colors, creating even more anticipation for the refreshing revenge drama to come.

It's good that MBC has been steadily dishing out promos for their upcoming sageuk "Joseon Lawyer", and this week brought the first poster as well as more character stills. MBC’s "Joseon Lawyer" will be launching next month March 31, following Kokdu: Season of Deity in the weekend slot. I have such a soft spot for Woo Do Hwan after watching him in "TKEM" with Lee Min Ho.
