@kyoko22 You are so right about this interaction!  KJK with his head down reading looks really defeated. So, I will revise my earlier statement about KJK not getting angry with JSM.  It does happen.  However, I will say that he doesn't do it as much, and when JK does get upset he seems to take it harder when SM gets angry or sad in return.  Even when they fight they give off couple vibes (argue, ignore each other, sulk/pout, and eventually forgive and move on).  I know that is has happened in other places.  This was also the episode where she looked genuinely upset that he lied to her about being the protein monster.  He also look slightly upset that he had to lie to her.

@kyoko22 Oooh so that's why in last week's episode he kept on ripping off her name tag.    

He may have sensed it that his ladylove was upset with him because of his, "You're not a family." outburst; knew that silent treatment was coming his way but he's just not having it. 

Jk: Oh no, woman, you're not ignoring me this time. I'll make sure of that. (Then proceeded in ripping off her name tag plenty of times in a non sparta way but more on like it's a do-or-die-in-her-hands romantic kind of way.) 

 

When it was revealed who got a lot of money, JK looked like he was guilty or embarassed probably because he knew he was not doing it for the game's sake but he's just trying to win his woman back and boy how he succeeded in doing so because the lady, the love of his life was having the time of her life!

It is so obvious they were together before they entered the hall but suddenly stood apart wheb they were in front of camera. So, it is not our imagination. Another proof that they purposely distancing themselves when camera rolling.

 

Btw, the 2nd still photo @MandelBrot post, JK complimented Somin's face but I can't explain the exact meaning.

Well the Kookmin moments were brief but so wonderful. 

 

Intro - JSM was pretty "cheesy" to some, but just pretty to others . . . lookin at you KJK.  There were some really funny moments this week with other members, but I don't have time this week to included and talk about them (and we are all here for Kookmin anyway ).

I am so glad that this time the show didn't try to hide (edit out) how normal it is that JSM and KJK are always together.  Instead, they took the if you can't beat them, then join them approach.  Now, she is just one of his gang haha.  What I love is that JK doesn't treat his gang the same (I will explain below). 

 

 

SM looked really pretty today and other members (SJS and YJS) noticed besides JK.  

 

Not sure but pretty sure that KJK was looking at JSM. . .because through out the opening he was checking her out.  

JK asks below if she was being cheesy because he couldn't see.  She was not cheesy just being cute.  

 

Alright, why I love this moment so much? YJS is saying how cheesy she is and KJK does not let it stand. To be fair, YSJ is not being mean, but you can tell that JSM is feeling good about herself and she should, but YJS is giving her attention in a way that she is not hoping for.  So, JK interrupts him and completely contradicts him.  It is a situation where YJS cannot keep really teasing her, and he can't comment on what KJK said, so they have to move on. That is how they you shut down a National MC haha (thanks JK)! 

I am so glad and unsurprised that JK said this!  Also, he keeps looking at her and you can tell that he is proud of his girl. . . I mean gang member lol.

Two members of the gang tell KJK that they are gaining weight and he has different reactions.

 

Oh HH . . . were you hoping that JK would say nice things about you, as well?  You're not SM . . .so you should not have been surprised that this was going to happen below. 

 

So everyone lesson one, JK doesn't treat all of his gang members equally.  How can people still say that JK thinks she is annoying, distancing himself, or that they are not interested in each other.  I will say it, those people are delulu (bring on the haters ). 

 

 

More Kookmin once the guests arrive and we find out that the really last name of one of the guests is Kim.  Also, his name is similar sounding to KJK and he is from Anyang.  When this all come to light KJK, it is JSM again commenting on what KJK likes haha. 

 

I am not sure JSM was saying something and I think it was "That sounds nice".  Not sure, but if it is then I think she is confirming that she wouldn't mind being in the Kim family (not as a sibling ).  I know JK said they were not family, but something tells me that he would be okay under the right circumstances (wait. . .is that wedding bells I hear).  Alright I will stop!  Even if she didn't say this part it is another week where they mention each other with such authority.  I remember when we were all excited the first time that he called her pretty.  I still get excited when he complements her, but now that I know KJK has those thoughts about JSM, then it is more surprising now when he doesn't say something sweet about her .



JSM gets a team today. 

When she does this strut JK cannot stop looking at her and he takes a step back like is trying to take in more of the view. 



This was when I was first able to completely read SM's shirt "That the human being is not only intellect. It's also muscle."

I know that YJS thinks she is pretty, but don't worry JSM because you have one oppa (on the show) that tells you all the time (including this episode) . . . he is also the one that will appreciate your shirt the most.  

 

In fact, I think he really want to stay on SM's team.

JSM is already moving on shaking hands with her new teammate below and JK is still in shock. 

 

 

 

 

Games and Kookmin

The second game begins and this is the first game that JK plays.  What I find interesting here is that JSM starts to slightly trash talk JK.  However, as soon as her teammate says something bad about JK, she immediately changes her tune and becomes his biggest fan. 

 

 

When JK doesn't do well SM starts to get second hand embarrassed for him.  She tries repeatedly to not laugh/cover her mouth.  She even comments about this later. 

JSM below sounds like she is trying to justify/explain why her teammate is doing well.  Like she is trying to help JK save a little face/honor. 

Once again she is trying to stop herself from laughing. 

 

JSM below said and seemed like multiple times, "I can't even laugh". She wants to laugh but doesn't think she can.  This made me go, why can't you laugh at JK? We all know the answer.  When your significant other does something that is embarrassing it might be funny, and you want to laugh, but you know that you shouldn't.  If they weren't dating, then it wouldn't matter if JSM laughed, because that did not stop his other friends from laughing at him for messing up in the game. 

 

SO, JSM congrats her team and then immediately walks over to JK.  I am guessing to console him because she pats him on the back below.  As SM is trying to cheer up JK, and she also feels the need to tell everyone how much effort he put into playing the game/working hard.  When she announced to the group that they should feel his back, like she had, I was expecting someone to comment about why she was touching his back.  Nope, that is not news worthy! 

 

Instead, they start apologizing to JK.  I am glad that they apologized. It is hard when you are use to being good at everything (that is literally your role on the show) and then you fail and people find your failure funny.  Yes, I know that JK has been Sparta and made them suffer for most of RM, but it LKS has been over the top with the teasing the last few episodes.  Also, I did not include it but earlier in the episode LKS ripped his name tag and I think in the process it looked like JK hurt his back because he was rubbing his side.  

Again JSM trying to hold in the laughter and below when she open her mouth no sound comes out. 



It was funny and I did laugh, but like JSM I did feel bad for him after. 
 

 

 

 

Last Game

 

I caught JSM at least twice this episode looking at JK.  This shot below makes it so obvious! 

 

 

At then end . . .when there time ran out JK walks over by JSM and says that it was fun and she says that it wasn't fun.  What I find hilarious is that everyone was complaining about how easy it was and that they weren't needing to run. So why JK was it fun for you?  I think it was because you find SM funny and enjoy her successes and failures haha. 

 

Even JK is surprised by his own win lol.

By the way, I noticed that So min is getting more and more beautiful this year. Not saying that she was not before, she was and still is. But her beauty now is kinda different in a good way. You can really see that she's inspired and IN LOVE.

Somin looks so cute during the opening. And I legit smiled widely when I saw kjk, haha, and jsm walking inside together. Jsm looks so happy during the opening. I wonder why, hmm. 

 

Also, I literally screamed when kjk complimented jsm. It's no surprise but we haven't heard kjk saying "you look great today" to jsm during the past few episodes. It made me think if he already said that to her before the shoot that's why jsm looks so happy and still decided to say it again in front of the cameras. 

 

About jsm wanting to laugh during the second game, I don't think that it's because kjk is her significant other. I mean we are not sure of that. Rather, I think the reason is she knows kjk well. She knows how kjk is really feeling and she doesn't want to add fuel on it. So after the game, she comforted kjk because I think that she is actually concerned but still find the situation funny. 

 

Not kookmin related but I really hope that jsm will be able to improve her strength and name tag ripping skill. I love how she is just having fun but I also feel like she wants to prove them something, specially when yjs said "when will I see you rip jihyo's nametag?". I know rm isn't supposed to be very competetive but they are still playing games. I want to see the day where the members will be shocked because of her unexpected name tag ripping skill. It will be very interesting.

@Catch-22 The part you mention about YJS teased Somin being cheezy. I rewatch that scene again and you are right! JK interrupted YJS in the middle of it and YJS's face seems like he was a bit speechless. Way to go, JK!

EP 540: I think they did stood together but YJS tried to separate them. Imagine when you want to take group photo. We will arrange ourselves first so the people in the photo will be balance. Haha, SJH, JSJ, Somin and JK stood in a line while YSC and LKS squat in the front. Just YJS who was out of place. Not really in the line but he also not squatting. He either late for the photo session or he was squatting in the first place(more likely). I think he purposely stood in between Somin and JK.

I agree. She should take advantage of having the master of it all as her boyfie and practice with him.

Topic: Ji Suk Jin

 

I think Ji Suk Jin is very dear to Kookmin fans since he is the first member who linked JK and Somin together. He asked what Somin's mom think of JK in ep 461. He said Somin should write the lyrics for JK's new album in ep 471. So, I think it is interesting how JSJ related to kookmin.

It is interesting enough that he revealed that info. It is more interesting when JSJ asked 'Really?'. No shock, no curiosity about this mystery 'her'. Just simple 'really?'. Seems like JSJ know who is 'her'. YSC too.

Time stamp 54:01. JSJ casually said to JK "We can't trust Somin but we must trust Somi."

 

At first, what JSJ said seems like  just an innocent comment. However, upon hearing JSJ's words, JK laughed. You maybe can't see it clearly from this photo but he indeed laughed.

 

The corner of his left eye crinkled, his teeth shown. What JSJ said made him laughed. Seems like, what JSJ said has meaning behind it, not just a casual comment. I think JSJ teased JK here.

I really love this scene. JK brought up Haha's name, then YSC's name. But it was JSJ who mentioned Somin to JK.

 

Again, JSJ asked questions about Somin.

 

But, thanks to JSJ's questions we can see this soft expression of his. And now we know, just being chose by her is enough to make him move. Which explain how most of the time Somin will not choose him .

 

EP 500

He was the one who questioned why JK linked arm with Somin's standee while everyone pretended like nothing weird happen. Even when the attention focused on JK and Somin's standee, the topic didn't linger long and YJS quickly changed to other thing. Everyone pretended not to see the very large elephant there. 

 

Remember in ep 479, when JK championed Somin who put her face too close to the prize baked sweet potato and YJS asked if JK like Somin? YJS is very good at observing people. YJS called out on JK just because JK championed Somin over small thing. YJS also called out on JK because JK kept commenting on Somin's IG (ep 483). Yet he kept quiet on when JK linked his arm with Somin's standee and immediately changed the topic .
