@partyon I think you can put whatever you like in there, but the key is pepperoni to infuse flavour everywhere and of course layers of mozzarella touching the bottom of each sheet.🤗 I learned from my mother-in-law, hubby liked his mom lasagna, I am learning but🥵

Have you tried using ricotta? I ditch it for ricotta or mozzarella 😆 but I can’t remember the last time I made it…

 

I like moussaka better just because I like eggplants. An Italian friend taught me how to make these eggplant-mozzarella stacks in homemade tomato sauce. So good!

Have been bingeing since yesterday Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story on Netflix. It's a biographical crime thriller about the true story of 2 brothers who killed their parents back in 1989. I remember this case being very high profile and have watched a documentary about the case a long time ago.

 

These brothers were like rock stars, because they were rich and handsome (in 1989 standard), so girls were fangirling them even during the trial.

 

Has anyone watched this series? I think it's the #1 most watched series on NF at the moment?

Javier Bardem plays the dad, Chloë Sevigny the mom. The brothers are played by two unknown actors to me, but everyone is doing such a fantastic job acting wise.

@joccu Finished all 9 episodes. I would say that the show was pretty good up until and including ep 5, but it kinda went downhill from there. 9 episodes in total was too long for the show (seen many critics say the same thing), and they lost the story in the final 4 episodes. They omitted a lot of crucial evidence from it, and started painting the picture in a very confusing way. Not even gonna talk about the last scene of the show.... As well as how they painted one of the brother's sexuality in a way that apparently isn't even true.

 

All in all, a good watch, but take the last 3-4 episodes with a pinch of salt. Read up on the evidence and the testimonies they left out, and then make up your mind who the real monsters of this show are.

 

The guy who is making these criminal biographies, Ryan Murphy, didn't do a good job with this one. Dahmer was better. Hopefully the next one will be an improvement.

Couldn't stomach more of this barf. Going back to watching some YouTube videos of the old 80s songs that were featured in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

 

 

Does anyone know the true story of this band Milli Vanilli btw? The biggest act in the late 1980s. Exposed for lip syncing their whole album.... At least they were cute.

Morning...

 

Had a nasty migraine yesterday evening. Head still feeling a bit heavy after waking up.

 

Unlike the usual sensitive to lights when I have, last night was different because whatever I was smelling, my nose wasn't getting used to it and after an hour or so I could still smell the same thing. It's like my sense of smell went on overdrive to perhaps, canine levels? 😅
