@ rynn_peace its not wrong to like someone however its wrong to force your feelings on someone who clearly don't see you that way. SH definitely expressed her feeling we clearly saw her become pathetic in her so called love or like for Hoon . When she found out about SH being JH she acted like she had just been dumped or cheated on. She cried more for her one sided love then her own mother . From a tough chick she definitely went downhill as I watched the episodes . If ever JH died and Hoon decided to move on (very unlikely) then CY should be the one by his side not SH. It took the final episode for her to somewhat redeem herself in my eyes.

Hi guys. I just finished Dr Stranger n love the 4 main characters.

Tbh, i dun like the ending cos it was like very rush n just any old how wrap things up. Mayb just me but am very glad that the 4 main leads found happiness. I ship our dear quack n park hoon. They r just so cute together. On the other hand, park hae jin (jae joon) just break my heart if he never end up with quack.

The politics n competition is bit too much for me. Otherwise it was a good drama to watch.

Will be looking forward to the future projects of park hae jin n ljs (only saw him in face reader).

On a side note, dun bash me, i wish korean medical drama can pls pls ensure that cast wear gloves when touch patients esp if patient is bloody.

However after watching the first episode of Dr Stranger, Jin Se Yeon is actually the one that made me hooked to this drama. TBH, I have watched JSY in Gaksital and I am not actually fond of her acting in Gaksital but did not dislike her that much either since I think she made Mok Dan very sweet. And in Dr Stranger, she actually excelled in making Jae Hee a girl that is worth to be loved the way PH did. As a Seung Hee, I think she is quite good, not excellent but good enough for me, I cry when she cry, I am mad when she is mad, I am scared when she is scared. Still, it's true there are some scenes, I found her expression to be stone-cold when she should emit the feel of longing towards PH especially in eps 3

Ok, first we argued about who's the female lead of this drama.
Then we argued whom Park Hoon should end up with.
Now we're arguing about the chemistry?
LOL.
You guys are funny, and you're making this thread look pathetic 'TILL THE VERY END.
Let's simplify this, shall we?
For Quacks: Lee Jeong Seok has no chemistry with Jin Se Yeon. He has more chemistry with Lee Boo Young and some other older/same-age/younger/experienced actress out there. He has more chemistry with Kang Sora.
Hoon - Hee shippers, deal with it!

For Hoon - Hees: Jeong Seok showed a lot of chemistry with Jin Se Yeon. They looked good on and off camera. Se Yeon's still young, she can still improve. They look so good together and it's happiness that they ended up together in the drama as Hoon and Jae Hee.
Quack shippers, deal with it!

I say: Both Hoon - Hee and Quack shippers, stop changing the mind of the other group. It's just impossible to accomplish, and what the heck! We can all believe what we want to believe, so stop this no-sense argument, alright?
Again I say to EVERYONE: DEAL WITH IT!
and move the heck on!!!!
:)) ;):D

True, talent is a must in acting and I also stated that I believe JSY has some acting talents. She may not be the best out there but the fact that she has won an award at such a young age must show for something, isn't it? At least it shows that her ability to act has been acknowledged by the network itself. Sure there are hundreds of better and younger actresses than her but how many of them have an award under their belt at that age and what more for a leading role.

zulmme. said: Motive? He was just doing his job :) I understood Cha's character as  an agent  who worked for the department of North Korean state security , for their Secret Police,  appointed to supervise Park Hoon’s family. Hoon’s father had a “celebrity status” in North Korea being  the famous specialist doctor  who saved Kim Jong-il life and  Park Hoon was trained from a young age to follow his path. State loses its investment when good doctors migrate so his international travel in Hungary was tightly guarded. Also, he was not trained in a common hospital but in a special unit, a military hospital, a restricted area where few were allowed and knew what happens there, so his escape was probably considered an act of treason. He was not an ordinary guy who defected, he was a person who had access to top secret information. Although Park Hoon  never disclosed  their secret activities, they couldn't take that risk and sended Cha after him. Hoon’s defection represent also Cha’s failure as a secret intelligence agent. His grudge against Park Hoon was obvious.   Later he recruited Jae Hee for an activity outside North Korea aiming to control Hoon again and restore his image.

Everyone, if you want to read some Fan Fic works about Hoon and Jae Hee (or Agent Cha and Jae Hee), here's the link to that Fan Fic thread:

Just in case you wanna check it out. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! :D;)
You know, something to help us get over this drama, Hoon - Hee shippers.
And for the quacks, if you have your own Fan Fic thread, you can also share it here so we'll know where to go. Do you have one? I actually am thinking of a scene or two about Hoon and Soo Hyun. :D
Fellow Hoon - Hees, forgive me. I just though of some funny and warm scenes between the Quack couple. I'm still Hoon - Hee shipper all the way! :)) I love you all, guys! :))

@Bambiina Again, I agree with you, dear. We are not here to change the opinions of anyone.  We are here to voice out what we feel, we are here to disagree if someone tends to announce unsubstantiated accusation, agree to those with the same views and opinions, we are here to discuss because this is the very reason why this forum is built, to discuss and argue.

As for people who take opinions contrary to their own as personal attacks, then you better learn not to interpret discussions that way.  I guess we are all mature individuals here.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Doctor Stranger is one heck of a complicated drama. I would never watch something like this "type" of drama in the future.  I already knew the signs but I still continued.  In most cases, I would only watch a drama if I fully know the 2 main leads.  I should have stuck to that habit.  Well, even though this is the case, I never regretted watching DS.  I learned a lot of things about Kdramas and more importantly, I was given an opportunity to take a glimpse on the behaviors of Kdrama fans.  I swear, the shipping war (my very first time) is kinda hilarious but I enjoyed it a lot.  LOLS!

Regarding this is Dr.Stranger thread, everybody is free to write their opinion about dr.stranger even from the this point. The love line, the script, the production team and even the shipper instead. So why people in this thread always being sensitive about the ship. It's clear who is the end game. Even the Dr.Stranger finished, many people come here to post their own opinion and why some people still bothering with other people's opinion ? It seems you cant get over it and we are all mature individuals and we should receive it well not make it as the personal attacks.

i remember some of you saying this about some people posted their comment about the ship and the lack of chemistry between OTP and reply them with a post as the personal attacks. even you forgot it, i always remember who makes the fuss first.

Seems like this shipping war doesnt have an end after this drama end.

can u guys please stop making unnecessary long as POSTS please. I don't really wanna read it even if you guys wanna make it persuasive and getting somebody to understand something. WELL I can't understand anything if it's going to be LONG~~

It must have took like half an hour to do that. Even I can't do that much in half an hour for my English Essay.

and mostly the SHORT posts are the most powerful one because it can attack once but kill a lot.

B-)

Guys! Please focus on the drama content such as the storyline, the political conspiracy, the medical competition, the cold confrontation between NK/SK, the characters and the staff of Doctor Stranger. It is okay to discuss the relationship between Hoon and Jae Hee as it is the canon couple of the series. It is also acceptable to compare this with Soo Hyun briefly. However, a message that is only focused on shipping or anything unrelated to the thread will be branded as an off-topic post.

U might as well delete the whole thread if u don't want any post focused on shipping.

tumblr_inline_n8jocb6MEj1rcuxz9.jpg

SBS’s “Doctor Stranger” will be turned in to a film version to be released in China in late 2014.

According to staff of the series, Park Haejin will start shooting for the film version today on the 11th of July, and Lee Jongseok will be joining in from the 14th along with Chinese model, Zhang Liang.

The producer of the series revealed that the film will be 120 minutes or longer, in which it will contain the necessary story lines of the 20-episode drama, however the beginning and ending will differ slightly.

He also revealed that the only concepts they will be excluding from the film version are the North Korean mentions, as it may go against Taiwanese values.

Furthermore, the Korean actors will be acting in Korean, however the film version will be dubbed in Chinese and aired only in China.
