This drama for me is the crappiest remake drama ever!!!!!!!!!!! From the 1st lead (my Sunghoon) got overshadowed by the 2nd lead, and his woman & wedding scene (from the original US version) being stolen, I just lost my words! I know they added some Korean sentiment whatsoever they call it but, why put Sunghoon's and the first female lead's faces on the promotion posters on Youtube, on SBS IG & the interviews too, they both being interviewed by Viu? Why didn't put the face of that noisy detective on the posters? Why didn't him went for the interview it the director intended him to be the 1st ML? Why sell their 11 years of chemistry to get the viewers to watch them, but in the end made the worst & crappiest plot twist evaaa~~ Waeeeeeee????!!!!!!!!
I can't even rewatch this drama even I watched it solely for Sunghoon. The ending, ohhhhhhhh...... just kill me already!!!!!
Cannot brain this! Like, I woke up by the worst nightmare like Raphael here .....
Ratings : 3/10 ~ the worst remake drama evaaaaaa
Recommendation : nehhhhhhh..... *slice throat

Done watched eps 3 & 4 ....
Episode 3 - hilarious especially the scene at OBGYN clinic.
Husband and wife went for first ultrasound ❌
Both family went ✔️
*and make chaos too until the doctor have to do the "shut up clap"

Thank you! Yes, I abandoned it 1000% because no Sunghoon, and Tae Gon oppa too! Since we know how the writer's style, I give up! All the ghosts, jaesongsaja, deaths, make me feel burden. So decided not to watch it all but watched the cuts on IG only. Hopefully no season 4 as season 3 is more than enufff. Thank God to Sunghoon not returned, if not, he will get another slaps!

I have watched 1st episode, twice! OK, the main point of this drama is the FAST PACE! We know the storyline of the original drama right? But with K-sentiments (and the makjang too!) anything can happen (even the teasers, up till 4 teasers including the highlight) had showed almost all.
But to be honest, the castings are good to for me. A lot of good reviews and comments for Sunghoon. His role of baby husband lawyer from his previous drama, seems vanished! Poof!!!! And I like his role in this drama. Seems like a bada** guy but no, he's having a scar inside his heart and with the 2nd life, he just need to find his own happiness. I like his expressions, emotions, his anger and his style of course! (with stunning colors of suits)
The actress who played his wife, OK, I can't denied, I kept thinking his wife in LfMD doing a much better as a "beachyy beachyyy" wife. Maybe she's too timid to express her role as a very "beachyy beachyyy" wife. Her mom, very suitable as Petra's original mom also one nampeun salam, just she's using electronic wheelchair, not using eyes patch like Petra's mom!
As for Woori, she's OK. Just sometimes I feel quite distracted with her tone, seems like Im Soo Hyang in real life.. Her nose is something else, but it doesn't distract me a lot. Her bf is a quite famous actor actually, before he being diagnosed with some disease previously. He was sick but now he's back to act. Her mom, still young, almost the same age with Lee Ga Ryung too but she's have an eomma aura, so that's why she can be Woori's eomma. Her obsession to be a singer is hilarious. She sang, "andaeyooo andaeyooooo" is funny!
Overall, episode 1 make me wanna watch episode 2. Funny (not too much), entertaining YES and not dragging storyline make me eagerly to watch till the end.
Tonight is the 2nd episode!

One thing that I'm sure everyone has noticed is how very food-obsessed the entire show has been since Season 1. People are always eating or talking about food. It's like a good 40% of all conversations:
- Hye-ryeong throws out food that her mother-in-law made which apparently makes her the worst person ever.
- Song Won is really into healthy food and I think her first conversations with Sa-hyeon were all about food.
- Pi-yeong, Si-eun, and Dong-mi were constantly talking about food as well.
- Of course, Dong-mi slowly killed her husband by feeding him carbs.
- Both Pi-yeong and Si-eun won their way into their father-in-law's heart by feeding him organic gelato and sweet potatoes. (The way to a man's heart with through his stomach?)
- Si-eun cooked lunch for Seo Ban.
- Pi-yeong and Dong-mi cooked breakfast for Seo Father. That took up about 50% of that episode, I think - with him eating the food, and them talking about the food.
- Those flour pancakes Seo Ban likes.
- Dong-ma cooks for Pi-yeong and Jia, and that's all it takes for Jia to accept Dong-ma as her stepfather. (That, and the massive wealth.)
- Professor Loser shared the lunch that his wife made with his future mistress Gabin.
- Professor Loser made Gabin dumplings from scratch.
- Dong-mi brought food to Gabin in order to become close to her.
**I add : in Season 1, Pan Sa Hyeon ate at his parent's house (fish, crabs etc) like there will be no food tomorrow.
Plus, actress Lee Min Young (Song Won) said that Phoebe loves to add "food" in her story. She said it in KBS2 program Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.

I saw some familiar names in this forum. I didn't have any "appetite" to watch 3rd season, not because I don't like Phoebe's work, but the changed casts. 3 of the important character being replaced and I'm like, God... this drama is almost ruined by these 3 replacements. Pan Sa Hyeon have lost his soul, Shin Yu Sin have a very emotionless face & Kim Dongmi, not as fierce as original Dongmi. I can't watch them.... That's what I thought.
Anyway, the drama, OMG!!! What's with the joseungsajaaa??? So many of them?
And the recycle Seo Ban weds Song Won who already died? OK, I'm done.
And she's the one I love, Writer Lee... She's hot after became Mrs Seo

- Famous writers such as Moon Yeong-Nam, Kim Sun-Ok, and even Kim Su-Hyeon and Kim Eun-Suk have all had rating failures. Im Seong-Han has so far delivered guaranteed ratings success every time.
- Her dramas are known for casting new or unknown actors in lead roles and making stars out of them. However, unlike her previous shows, the cast of "Love" are pretty well-known. The least known is Lee Ga-Ryeong (Bu Hye-Ryeong). She was almost cast as the lead in "Apgujeong Midnight Sun" but ended up playing a smaller role instead.
- One of her early big hits was "See and See Again" (1998) which had 273 episodes. "Princess Aurora" had 150, "Apgujeong Midnight Sun" had 149 episodes. She is used to writing long dramas. (So... we must... beware...)

Well, I love that Lee Ga-Ryeong has become a star. She was almost the lead 6 years ago, but hasn't done much since then. But she made an impact in a memorable role, and I think her looks are very unique. Good for her. I will look forward to seeing whatever she does next. (Well, I guess she'll be in S3 before doing anything else.)
Also, apparently the writer instructed for her to wear extreme makeup so that it will be impactful when she finally takes it off for her press conference revenge. She wore that smoky-eye look for nearly two seasons, just for that one scene. She said in an interview that her makeup took the longest out of any of the other actors and that her eyelids got sore.
And it worked. That visual impact did make it extra memorable. (Boy, talk about playing the long game.)
Yes, Im Seong Han was one of the popular makjang queen writer, and I actually felt surprise at first when she did 16 episodes "only" for S1 LFMD. But then after flashback episodes in S1, I know... this drama won't end 1 season. And then around episode 13 or 14 in S2, I believed this drama maybe ended in S2, but then yeahhhh, here we are, waiting for S3 next year.
Even with her "dark moments" throughout her career with MBC, but she did a good deeds giving new/unknown actors/actresses opportunity to be appeared in her drama and make them famous/popular/got more attention. She did it to Sunghoon. She is the reason Sunghoon accepted the role because he really owed it to the writer-nim, also 2021 is his 10th years debut anniversary as an actor. And now she did the same to Lee Ga Ryung. Her role with her make up gave so much impacts and I love her as an actress. One of my group chat members previously during S1 did questioned about her make up and that person didn't like BHR's make up. Me then said, you just wait, something will happen and relate with the make up, and boom! in S2 we saw how she changed 360 degree from her raccoon make up to natural looks.
And one more thing about the coffee truck - wow, it just so wow! First time I heard about MBC sent the coffee truck to TV Chosun. This is rare... But writer-nim have a long term project with TV Chosun, after MBC announced that they will never work with her again, do you think the writer-nim wants to work with MBC again? I don't think so...

Me too! I'm all set for Season 3. This is just a drama after all, like @Madu Mita said "when has this show ever made sense?" And... not only this drama, it seems almost of all Kdramas in Kdramaland didn't ever make sense, except the ones based on true story/situation laaa, example Hospital Playlist.
Remember Goblin? Since when we have an immortal human, Goblin's bride and Grim Reaper disguised as a human? And who have watched Lee Je Hoon's drama Signal? Since when we can received a signal from the past via a walkie-talkie without battery and changed the past & present?
There, there... If you just think is just a drama, you will enjoy it, but if you think more than that, want the drama to make sense or want the writer-nim to fulfill your desired ending, you better don't watch it. It only will make you feel upset, angry and disappointed.

Yes, I have mentioned it before. She have a kind soul. Not everyone can be like her, some will just kick that woman and left her alone with her bathrobe but not her. Just think, woman in bathrobe, vulnerable like that, with drunk man in the picture (or even other bad guys in that area) what will happen? Then tomorrow highlight news come out, "Shocking news! Musical actress NGB being raped and murdered by drunk man at XXX Apartment." Will Writer-Lee able to sleep at night when she knew she saw NGB came to see her in her bathrobe and end up tragically like that? She's not Bu Hye Ryeong who can be so cold & full of anger. She's Writer-Lee, she have a very gentle and kind soul. Even when she saw her ex husband holding baby in her dream, she felt something and worried. That just who she is.
I love how writer-nim painted her character as a divine lady. Me too.. I think she's not a doormat, she just do what she have to do - help the helpless person before her.
Also true, she went there asking for forgiveness. She even kneeled in front of Writer-Lee in her bathrobe.

Yes, she taugh her daughter well. Even she have grudge and mad with NGB, but she helped that helpless lady. NGB is evil because she destroyed one marriage & made a father abandon his family, but Writer-Lee & her daughter is not evil like her. They both have a kind soul inside them. I love Writer-Lee & Hyang-gi character

It's been a while since last I joined this forum. And yes, I watched the season 1 of Taxi Driver and now joining the ongoing team for season 2. S1 was more like their introduction, how the make a move towards the revenge, the strategies and whatnot, but S2, it's more colored as there's one party, instead of chasing like Kang Ha-na byeonhosa, On Ha-joon team wanna destroy Kang Do-gi and team, like for real. That's the best part actually as On Ha-joon slipped to be a 2-face driver inside the company.
Meaning, rainbow team not only taking the revenge on behalf of their passengers, but there is another person who wanna take their revenge on them too. On Ha-joon, wait till Kim Do-gi
