It’s official: Kang Tae Oh will be joining Park Eun Bin in the upcoming drama “Unusual Lawyer Woo Young Woo” (literal translation)!

On April 8, it was confirmed that Kang Tae Oh would be starring in “Unusual Lawyer Woo Young Woo,” which will air jointly on ENA and Netflix.

The drama will tell the story of Woo Young Woo, a young lawyer with Asperger’s syndrome who joins a major law firm (to be played by Park Eun Bin). Due to her high IQ of 164, impressive memory, and creative thought process, the brilliant Woo Young Woo graduates at the top of her class from the prestigious Seoul National University for both college and law school—but she still finds herself struggling when it comes to social interactions.

Kang Tae Oh will be playing male lead Lee Jun Ho, an attractive and thoughtful law firm employee whose handsome looks and caring personality make him extremely popular at the office. While working side by side with Woo Young Woo, he forms a meaningful connection with the lawyer that gives rise to new and unfamiliar feelings.

The full lineup of actors for Park Eun-bin's next work, 'Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo', who showed excellent acting skills in the drama 'Yeonmo' as the crown prince Lee Hwi, has been revealed.

Kang Tae Oh will officially be the male lead of the upcoming ENA Channel and Netflix's drama "Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo."

On April 8th it was confirmed that Kang Tae Oh will be the main lead of the upcoming drama "Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo." He will be working with Park Eun Bin in the law drama. 

"Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo" will narrate the journey of a new lawyer with a genius brain and autism spectrum named Woo Young Woo. The will showcase her growth in becoming a true lawyer by solving various cases.

It will be directed by Yoo In Shik ("Dr. Romantic" and "Mrs. Cop") and written by Moon Ji Won ("Innocent Witness").

Kang Tae Oh will play the role of Lee Joon Ho, an employee at the law firm. He's popular because of his great looks and friendly personality. He will also assist Woo Young Woo in some cases. 

Aside from Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh, Kang Ki Young, Jeon Bae Soo, Baek Ji Won, Jin Kyung, and more will also lead the upcoming series. 

"Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo" will air on ENA Channel (The new name of SKY Channel) and it will also be available on the global streaming platform Netflix. The series will premiere in June.
 

 

This will be the first official drama of Kang Tae Oh for the year. He made a special appearance in the recently ended drama "Thirty-Nine." He is also set to star in the upcoming film "Open the Door" with Shin Hae Sun, Kim Sung Kyun, and Geum Sae Rok.

In our bustling month of premieres, we can’t forget ENA’s Extraordinary Attorney Woo which stars the ever-adorable Park Eun-bin (The King’s Affection), along with Kang Tae-oh (Doom at Your Service) and Kang Ki-young (A Moment at Eighteen).

Park Eun-bin plays the central character, Woo Young-woo. Intelligent, bright, and curious in personality, her perspective on the world can sometimes be a little different, due to having autism spectrum disorder. The story follows her growth as she starts working as an intern at a large law firm and encounters new challenges through each case she takes on.

 

Kang Tae-oh will be playing a law firm employee named Lee Joon-ho, whose job mainly involves assisting lawyers with their casework and providing support. Owing to his warm and affectionate personality, he gets along well with others at work and quickly becomes friendly with Park Eun-bin as well.

Kang Ki-young takes on the character Jung Myung-seok, a senior attorney at the law firm. He put his nose to the grind in order to succeed in his career and takes a lot of pride in his work. Being highly dedicated and responsible, Park Eun-bin gets placed under Kang’s management when she is hired.

The newly released stills capture Woo Young Woo heading to work for the first time. The place that Woo Young Woo is heading to is Hanbada, a law firm. Upcoming drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” has amped up anticipation for the premiere with two new posters!

The drama will tell the story of Woo Young Woo (played by Park Eun Bin), a young lawyer with Asperger’s syndrome who joins a major law firm. Due to her high IQ of 164, impressive memory, and creative thought process, the brilliant Woo Young Woo graduates at the top of her class from the prestigious Seoul National University for both college and law school – but she still finds herself struggling when it comes to social interactions.

The first poster features Woo Young Woo and her co-workers Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh), Jung Myung Seok (Kang Ki Young), Choi Soo Yeon (Ha Yun Kyung), and Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk) at the law firm Hanbada. They are in one straight line heading somewhere, but Woo Young Woo stands out with her extraordinary presence. In addition, there’s a whale floating above her head, hinting she has a unique imagination.

On June 16, ENA Channel unveiled new photos of Kang Tae Oh as Lee Joon Ho, a popular employee at the law firm. The stills encapsulate Lee Joon Ho’s warm and soft charisma as he looks upon someone with a loving gaze. His sweet smile is a good example of his kind personality and makes it obvious why he’s so loved at work.

Not only is he a great person, Lee Joon Ho is also a focused employee who doesn’t make a fuss and is great at his job. Within his seemingly perfect life, Lee Joon Ho experiences an unexpected turning point when he meets the intriguing Woo Young Woo who he can’t help but be drawn to.
