My God, how this drama delivers.

I came back from my slumber to comment on this because, good Lord, this drama is gorgeous. From the CGI, to the cinematography and down to the gorgeous actors, this drama is d e l i v e r i n g.

Jun Ho opened my soft spot again. Dammit.

Loved the latest episode

- Young-Woo thinks Jun-Ho is good looking

- Geu-Rami and her knowing looks and matchmaking were pure scene stealing

- Geu-Rami is crushing on Min-Woo

- Dad & CEO Han ... I was hoping for the 3 potential couples tri-fecta and then the music took an ominous turn as CEO Han was driving away.  PLEASE don't make her evil.

I really want Dad & the CEO to happen - let her be the mother figure Young-Woo never had, someone who actually believes in her - If the Taesan CEO is her real mother then let CEO Han prove herself in that fight defending Young-Woo and proving herself to Dad.

Long wait til Wednesday -

Lawyer Woo is back at the firm.:highonflowers:Episode 4 was heartwarming.Young-Woo has such wonderful people around to help her blossom. Waiting for Min-Woo to overcome his prejudice and join team Young-Woo like his boss.

I would prefer Young -Woo and Jun-Ho to be friends. She needs a genuine confidant to navigate the workplace and prove her competence. A love relationship if unsuccessful would make it extremely difficult for her to continue work at the law firm.

About Min Woo, based on the previews why do I feel like he will end up being the second lead?

I wouldn't mind having a romance between Jun Ho and Young Woo, honestly, because he's obviously in love with her already. But I also adore how Jun Ho actually cares for her, not as an autistic person but as a colleague, an attorney and a beautiful woman. His sincerity started at the revolving doors, and I guess it's his habit of helping people with special needs that made him stop and help her. But then his respect for her as an attorney grew after seeing her in courts. That subtle smile whenever she did something amazing wasn't very subtle. But he actually did fall in love when he saw her in the wedding dress.

Normally I would call it shallow, falling for someone after seeing her in a gorgeous dress and makeup, but here, it emphasized how he saw her not as an autistic person, but as a woman. As a beautiful woman. And it kept growing. Keeping everyone on hold in the elevator until Young Woo came, the giant whale poster, the little gift and how he actually used the date spot to indirectly confess to her.

Jun Ho actually won me over, when he instinctively counted along with Young Woo, outside Myung Seok's door. That was when I realized that he was actually in love with her.

But, this show keeps showing how tough it is not only being an autistic attorney, but being bullied in school for being who she is, for being called out at courts for being biased because of who she is, and having to read comments about people ousting people like her. It would break anyone. But she is someone who also is barely vocal with her father and would only respond to things she likes to hear. Yes, now she has matured and changed, but it also makes me wonder if Jun Ho will be at an advantage if they actually end up dating. I want to see the realistic side of autism, even if it has a bad ending, because this show is known for being very realistic.

And here you go, the second little waltz.

Dramas aren't real life so we can have an autistic attorney surrounded by a good friend who stands by thick and thin.A boss who goes the extra mile beside her dad.Real world of  autists is far harsher.Having a friend like Geu Rami, sensitive boss, helpful investigator Jun Ho and a grudgingly helpful and not hostile female collegue is hitting the jackpot already.

Since the show did throw light on 'high functioning'/Asperger's/low functioning autism',bias of society, the harsh side of caregivers who don't root for their autistic family member.I am hoping it would have a more realistic slice of life approach on what it takes to be involved with an autist. It is a long arduous and lonely journey with lot of efforts being put in by people who are emotionally involved with them as Young woo's dad mentions.

Jun Ho did fall for Young Woo but is it a feasible relationship? Does JunHo know what he is signing up for? I am curious if this aspect would be dealt in an ordinary or an extraordinary manner in the life of our unusual lawyer Ms.Woo.

About MinWoo I think you are right. It would be fun to see him and Geum-Rami together.

I agree and I think they will address this issue, he will see that it will be difficult and perhaps also through a case that will talk about disability and romantic relationships, however I do not think it will take much space in the drama

I really hope they do.Autism and romance as a topic doesn't gets a proper address in dramas.

I only saw ep 3 but I think I will have to rewatch it and ep 4 tomorrow. Will come back to chat after —

Update: just finished both episodes and I enjoyed them both. The cases in this show is quite refreshing. Ep 3’s case was really good and made so many good points about how society is so quick to judge people and everything based on media reports that may NOT be the full picture. Pengsoo song was adorable. I also hope the other young lady lawyer won’t get jealous of JH’s growing fondness of YWY too. I don’t want petty love triangle.

Ep 4’s case was also good and realistic. Sooo many families have broken up due to fighting over money and inheritance. YEY’s BFF is such a cool girl, I loved her character and her dad is a very good person to still share with the two loser uncles.

I am also hoping CEO of their firm is a good person without bad motives or using YWY - that is too stereotypical and predictable.

Very happy and impress when I watch this drama. Def my favorite so far this season.

omg thank You @agenth Whale Epiphanies are the Best moment along with when WyW argues with her Boss lol..

I really love those moments as well...

I like how boss supports her without coddling her and has trust in her. He was surprised by her first, but then learned things himself through her. I hope he finds a love line too

I just like how YW carefully  described Junho..- '' He is popular...he is tall...and he is good-looking''

That was a little unexpected.

Of course Rami immediately understood that was Attorney Kwon.

Junho -'' but, if its just you and me, wouldnt it be okay''

Baby, dont worry...that is enough to convince any girl.  :D

i do want to see a loveline developed between junho and youngwoo, but tbh, i've found the feelings from junho developing a bit too weird and fast! it goes from 0 to 10 at this "before and after wedding dress" scene! if attny choi didnt have digestion problem and could stick to the appt, would he have the same feelings for her?

guess the drama wants to show viewers about the difficulties of their relationship so that's why the loveline has started at ep4. people always have expectation from each other in a relationship, including father/daugther! wyw's dad told her that he thought that their relationship was inclusive and they could rely on each other, but the disappointment and loneliness he endured when he felt that it was a one-way relationship. junho is attracted to wyw for now but would he experience the same journey like wyw's dad down the road and end up giving up on youngwoo if she doesnt mature? there are a few scenes showing some disappointed look on junho when he didnt get any reaction from youngwoo. one good thing is at the beautiful sunset scene youngwoo was able to comfortably communicate with junho about her concern as a lawyer with asd. hopefully with the help of guerami and her dad and the patient guidance from junho, youngwoo can overcome her disability and enjoy this romantic relationship! dont want to miss out a wonderful guy like junho!!!

btw, ep4 was stunningly wonderfully filmed - the sunset, the whale wall art in the boardroom! PEB and KTO are just amazing with their acting - youngwoo's unexpected heart-fluttering moment when junho subtly confessed to her; her excitement seeing the whale with junho quietly and happily standing next to her. KTO does an excellent job portraying a man behind his beloved woman!

The relationship between YW and her boss develops more naturally than

the relationship between her and Junho.

Junho is a nice guy but his behavior is a bit offensive.

I wasn't planning on watching this since I work in the legal field.  It's like an extension of work for me to watch legal dramas/shows.   Too often, it's beautiful attorneys (no, not all attorneys are attractive), wearing beautiful clothes (my boss comes to work wearing motorcycle attire with casual clothes beneath) .  I read so many great reviews, that I decided that I would watch at least an episode.  Fortunately, it's on Netflix, so it made the decision even easier.  Needless to say,  I really enjoy this drama so far.  YWY is not your typical attorney one too often sees on the screen, which I love.  And, you'd think the ML would be another attorney, but no, I guess he's part of the support staff.  I like all the side characters as well, her father, her best friend and the other attorneys, including her boss (well, not too crazy about the other male attorney on the team).

I think Junho hasn't even realized he's liking her yet, he was surprised when Geurami mentioned a date. And the timeline of the drama is more advanced, in ep 2 it showed that they lived together much more than was shown, because of the whale story they became close. And in ep 4 I was mentioned that months have passed so they've been together for some time. Initially he admires Woo as a lawyer, that's why in his confession he says "I want a lawyer like you to be by my side". It is natural that little by little feelings get confused and he is delighted when he saw her as a bride. In one of the teasers, someone tells him to confess and he says it's not that easy. I don't think he's being rushed, so far it's all very subtle. But I'm also curious how the writer will approach this relationship.

Park Eun Bin And Joo Jong Hyuk Are Co-Workers Who Just Don’t Get Along In “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” shared a sneak peek of the upcoming episode!

The drama tells the story of Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin), a young lawyer with Asperger’s syndrome who joins a major law firm. Due to her high IQ of 164, impressive memory, and creative thought process, the brilliant Woo Young Woo graduates at the top of her class from the prestigious Seoul National University for both college and law school – but she still finds herself struggling when it comes to social interactions.

Spoilers

Previously, Woo Young Woo left Hanbada Law Firm due to the misunderstandings and prejudice in the world. However, she came back to help her friend Dong Geurami (Joo Hyun Young) and showed her growth as she faced challenges in her own way. In particular, Jung Myung Seok (Kang Ki Young) showed infinite trust in her as a lawyer and gave her responsibility as a member of their team.

However, there are still some people who don’t see Woo Young Woo in a positive light, and one of them happens to be her fellow co-worker Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk). In the photos, Kwon Min Woo appears relaxed, but Woo Young Woo is hurriedly examining the document while carrying a pile of books. In one photo, Woo Young Woo seems dissatisfied with something at a meeting with a client. Jung Myung Seok says something to her, and she looks crestfallen, hinting that something unexpected has happened. Furthermore, Woo Young Woo and Kwon Min Woo continue to butt heads in court, and their war of nerves will bring another interesting challenge in her life.

The production team shared, “The court, where truth and falsehood are mixed, is a difficult place for Woo Young Woo, who is unable to understand a person’s mind, but it is also a place for new experiences. Please look forward to Woo Young Woo’s and Kwon Min Woo’s struggles in the face of a decisive event that will pave the way for growth.”

The next episode of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will air on July 13 at 9 p.m. KST.
