@maribella ~ it was pretty recent but the SBS daily "shady mom" really surprised us because it ended up with the OTP separating. yup, they remained divorced and happy that way! so you never know. but that said, if it was a kdrama from the hallyu days, I would definitely expect tae in to die for sure -- they loved melos where at least one character ended up dying from something suddenly in the end. now it is mostly happy ending. lets see -- feels like the writer is writing themselves into a corner with this one. including myung hee, seo ju, abba mama, klutz, goldfish chairman have not much to do and lets not forget the lawyer friend of tae in who barely pops up for a minute every few episodes....

I hate sad endings and those haluyu drama I hate them , I somehow ended up watching fashion king not knowing it’s sad end and it left such a bad taste on me !! 

 

i like the present trend , even though they have melancholic start they do give happy endings , something I love . 
 

 

 

Edit: ED has been on crying spree since yesterday . And writers please make TI yield . His constipated expressions and placid looks are now freaking me out. That actor has a beautiful smile , pleeeeeease use it !

I watched part of shady mother, that actress was Dae Jang Geum's mother,  but didn't the ending hint hint that they were still the OTP?

 

Yes TI or even ED would have died in Stairways to Heaven style. Thank goodness they stopped it.

I did not want to still I saw today's episode. Was not that bad. I like TI and that man in black are working together .TI was in action mode like always . That's what I  like about my Ajushi.....errrrr....ED's  Ajushi. They locked CJ H on same terrace from where he pushed down Mr. Cha and made video out of him .

 

ED was all tears and TI red eyed .This couple must get the happy ending . No not coz I am their shipper but because they are too much in love. 

 

Plus EC is missing his grandpa ! So Noona must forgive Ajushi and return home as happy family .So that he can go cycling, built blocks, fly drone ,go fishing, eat lot of yummy food made by Halmoni and sleep cozy with his grandpa! Not only EC even I am missing those days 

And what was that ending ! Choi family sitting with Han! Did they become family again! Is ED finally planning to be part of that Fox clan! I thought she was capable enough to bring them down all by herself! Planning to marry that crybaby and make fool out of him by suddenly realising she can't get over of her forever crush ! Obviously Cobra will come up with a plan but man do we have to go through that whole TI SJ kinda mess in next 20 episode ! Like really ! 

 

Anyways I am all in ! HJ H is all ready to get himself crushed so why should I worry . Go my crybaby go ! Be another SJ for TI ED never breaking duo!

 

So it will end like quivering DS  slapping ED for toying with her crybaby son just like MH slapped TI for toying with her desperate daughter ! 

 

I won't ever  blame TI ED for doing this and getting slapped . All is good for me till they end up together

I just watched the earlier episode where TI had his first "fitting" with ED. Back then, when ED was only newly appoint stylist by SJ, why, her outfit was really nice, and our TI's hairstyle was a LOT better than this episode... I think TI need a new haircut... He needs to trim especially his fringe, it too high right now.... heheh.  Too bad i don't know how to do gif or paste the picture here, but damn, he was so much cuter in the first 10 episode... 

 

Anyway, back to ED wardrobe... why AFTER she becomes TI assistant, ED's wardrobe suddenly got so bad? Was it a plan of the k-writer to have HJH be ED's wardrobe "savior" that all of a sudden gets nicer clothing this last 2 weeks episode? I find it funny that ED, a stylist needed HJH "shopping" clothing for her when ED could make sharp suits and that traditional Korean clothing for TI's stepmom...  Well, i guess they wanted to say HJH has "contributed" to transforming ED to be better, HJH can't do anything else aside from crying.... sigh... 

 

By the way, the actress playing ED, just wondering, is she unable to cry naturally? Her eyes were clear white while she was crying in earnest near the playground... Ouri TI, top acting, no tears, but you can see he is hurting coz his eyes were red.... KInda miss Lee yoo ri here, had yoo ri been ED in that scene, Lee yoo ri would have nailed that scene coz she would have cried for real ....

@Saja La agree he looked damn smart in older hairstyle . Now his hairs have grown up and he combs them up which makes his face look long and big . Would prefer his short hairs . 
 

Just saw the preview why is TI resisting ED so much . I mean it’s quit clear ED will come running to him all he has to do is open his arms for her ! But he is like we are total no go ! Why? Why is it so hard for him ? What on earth will it take for TI to forgive himself ? Is TI planning to live forever alone and go to Himalayas?

WHY - WHY - WHY

 

WHY - Did everyone receiving anonymous info over the phone, simply accept it?

 

WHY - Did it take someone soooooooooooooooooooooooo long to finally think ..... "Damn, maybe I should try calling back"......

 

WHY - Did it have to be HJH who called back first? - he's still trying to make me like him .....

 

WHY - Did "mystery man" wait 50+ episodes to show up when he was there at the start?

 

WHY - Are all the comic relief players so seriously dramatic now? ...... even Klutz isn't funny anymore

 

WHY - Did they take MH's wardrobe away again?

 

WHY - Is SJ still in the drama? All she does now is follow MH around spouting "doom & gloom" (they took her wardrobe too)

 

WHY - Is a Deputy Chief of Surgery acting basically as a domestic slave? .... because its HW, and in the kdramaverse this all makes perfect sense

 

WHY - Did they cheat @maribella out of her ep 65 first TI - ED kiss? ( I honestly thought you had nailed it )

 

WHY - Wont CJH's glasses EVER come off?  MH hit him will a full-on purse broadside and they DIDN'T move! ..... glued on .... has to be

 

WHY - Won't the writers just spare us all, and let ED jump TI's bones for one uninterrupted night? She'd be happy, we'd all be happy (well most of us, anyway) and we could all sit back and watch TI torture himself mentally over the tryst for the next 30+ episodes, until finally at episode 99 he'll get to thinking .... wow, I think I actually enjoyed that ....  and then BAM a happy ending in episode 100 and done!

Questions -

 

- Where will EC go?  If CJH goes to jail for murder, and Chairman Choi and HW go to jail for medical irregularities, then he wont be raised by them. Grandmother or not - ED will not let EC go to ABBA Harpie - so how do you guys see this play out?

 

- What happens to SJ?  In the strictest sense, she hasn't done anything wrong, she wont go to jail .... but what will happen to her?

 

- Where is my girl HM?  We can't leave HJH alone at a time like this!!!

@LeftCoastOppa so here you are! All those questions must be the output of some meditation retreat? You have been away awhile.

 

I am quite happy with the warm hug, so is @shana0127. ED was really trying hard but what Happened? TI chickened out. Since ED is again trying to understand why TI kept the whereabouts of her father's heart a secret, we are going to have to wait for all clear signs. HJH is moving in strong, ED is out for revenge for CJH and HW. There is a very good chance that they will have a fake marriage - the type that has HJH sleeping on the floor. Then we are talking major shifts before TI and ED kiss.

 

I thought it was high time Chairman Han threatens MH with SJ, yes. He took her back in because of SJ, but careful, he may un- adopt SJ.  Yes get rid of them.

 

@shana0127 when they kiss, he is going to do the grabbing and they'll end up in that tent without EC as chaperone. Just enjoy  @Ameera Ali 's gifs and cartoons for now. I am hoping they won't have close ups of his hands.

I want SJ to try her luck on TI again . In case Chairman HAn thinks to throw her out he will be her savior.TI can take her in coz he so desperately wants to  be away from ED. She will keep him safe from being molested by ED

@maribella I am hating the very idea of fake marriage .That HJH is a creepy guy he snuggled beside TI in his drunken stupor so him cuddling to ED in the morning  coz he was cold on floor will make me suicidal

 

Instead would like engagement . HJH can go officially calling ED his property . Though I don’t see ED gaining much from it except making making MH SJ life a bit of hell. She still can’t protect EC coz she is just a Noona .He is Cha officially but CJH has all rights to claim him? Only way to protect EC is putting CJH and his father in jail . For that her big phone and TI are enough!

Chingu....!  This is my 2nd time replying to you on "ED climbing Himalays to get her man" to you coz my first msg before i press submit got erase... You know, normally, as long as you have not press Submit reply button, you msg won't disappear right...? So, AFTER i wrote a LONG possible scenario story line , i press refresh just to see any new message coming in before i post my msg.... Agreed - I'm moving my "first kiss" estimate from episode 70 to episode 80

 

I see HJH & ED faking an Engagement/Marriage ( no ceremony, just (pretend) registering their marriage ) Only Chairman Han will know the truth - ED will try to get 2-for-1 out of this, as she goes after CJH & HW while also making TI jealous - SJ seeing ED & HJH together will try to move on TI again, and when ED sees that, her plan backfires and she starts to get jealous of SJ - One day TI and SJ will both disappear, and ED will start to panic believing TI & SJ somewhere alone together, and she will rush to find him - She will eventually find him alone, and after yelling at him for getting too close to SJ, TI will ask ... you're a married woman, why do you care what I do? .... and thats when ED will tell TI that its all fake, and while he is still staring at her trying to process what she just said, she will grab him and kiss him forcefully

am loving the mysterious man in black -- thats some cold hearted psychological torture he pulled on jun hyuk and it was fascinating to watch crocodile be hunted by the ghosts of the past while mysterious man watches with barely an expression but only anger in his eyes.  this was the revenge drama we have been waiting for -- the leads are boring me as they are pretty much focused on office politics, their romance and their family dynamics. unless you love office politics, their power play moves are not that entertaining. the romance is not my cup (they broke up, they are sad- me just shrugging) and I really can't stand kang il seob or dim sum who should be on the annoying family list.

 

so writer needs this mystery man to bring back the excitement because our leads are just frankly bad at revenge. am now curious to see crocodile unravel more -- his stunned shock, guilt, shakes all were well done and show a complex villain which makes it mesmerizing to watch. what is the end game of mystery man? and is black his signature colour? it is quite clear that mystery man is not going to play along with tae in or eun dong and has his own strategy in place. this is a lone wolf and I am here to watch!

Excellent points all - kinda makes you wonder if "mystery man" was an after thought. Along about ep 50 the writers are starting to think .... man this script is repetitive .... we need something to shake things up ...  I just hope they can adequately explain away his complete non-involvement for half the drama.

@shana0127 at this stage HJH can still go rogue. But with him and his Ma in tears a lot, the writer surely won't make them both bawling idiots. He is going to keep his word - social distancing too. 

 

@Lmangla both EC's mum and CJH's secretary are Nam, he should be the uncle. Why does he wait for 7 years to seek out EC? That can be another mystery but not the core because he is just a supporting character.

@maribella I almost feel like the mystery man was randomly created to boost the ratings. tae in also didn't do anything for 7 years, so the writer will come up with something for why this fella waited for so many years. yea, am sure he is meant to be a supporting character but he is the reason I am watching at the moment.

 

@LeftCoastOppa ~ I honestly won't be surprised because I have seen this happen with local dramas in my place. ratings will fall and the writer has written themselves into a corner. so boom, entrance of random characters who then end up overtaking the story because they are far more entertaining.

I took an instant liking to Brilliant Heritage as i have binged watch nearly 30 episodes this last 2 days. And there is another new k-drama, My Wonderful Life, there is a handsome Oppa, liking it so far.. ... So, since work load have increase 2 fold, (the Lockdown in Malaysia are in recovery stage) so we are free to go back to work, i can't possibly watch 3 daily k-dramas right...

 

So, Today's episode has made it easier for me to decide which 2 k-drama daily i am able to watch simultaneously....  ED agreeing to marry crybaby has made me lost interest in this k-drama.... So, i'll be back  when TI-ED  do end up together. Chingu, pls buzz me when this happens okay huh? Or HJH suddenly dies or in coma, do let me know huh?
