Thank you so much. I headed over there right after seeing your post. CFY is quite timid, hahaha... different from when he was interviewed with SYR. But I can understand. He spent more than 6 months shooting w/ Yiren, and a few more months for sound recording and promoting. So of course the comfort level is different than with He Landou -- although if you notice, he already addressed He Landou by her nick name "Dou Dou". 

 

I am happy to report that based on the comments on MBS douban page, positive responses from those who already watched it in advance (during the road shows) are still pouring in :)). It looks like Douban still hasn't enabled the rating, perhaps because the movie hasn't officially previewed yet. I hope those good words to mouth will encourage people to go watch the movie -- and hopefully the Douban rating will be good!

The games are cute, specially the one they did on the floor. That last square was a missed opportunity for him to carry her, as he often does in the movie. Still funny to see his huge feet getting smashed, I guess! 

 

Definitely lived up to his shy reputation! Overall the interactions were genuine and he didn't come across uncomfortable as he does in most of the roadshow stills and videos.

 

I feel for the guy, he seems like he'd rather be somewhere else most times. On one of his interviews for Secret Fruit he was asked what scary thing he'd like to do, and he said he wanted to disappear. He mentioned wanting to disappear one other in the same interview (no translation in video, but my friend translated interesting bits and pieces separately. Btw we want more of CFY and Nana together, she often brings him out of his shell so well haha)

I read an incomplete translation of Arthur's interview at the Beijing preview.  Aside from his family, apparently he also personally invited Vicky Wen Qi. Hmmm doesn't this remind you to that rumored movie? 

 

Also he was talking about someone he had crush on for 8 years. Eight frickin' years!!! I find it hard to believe, boy has just turned 19! Maybe it was when he was 8 years old? Or when he was in Year 8?

Vicky WenQi, Sophie Zhang and Liu HaoRan was rumoured have a project with CFY with the Chen KaiGe as the director. But so far the anthology movie only got Liu HaoRan and CFY, not the girls.

 

I wonder about the previous movie, his 1st ever movie Secret Fruit, did he also invite his relatives? I only remember one of the roadshow or premiere event like yesterday, his mom ChenHong and Nana's mom also came, and also Ruby Lin as the producer.

 

If MBS plays in here, i will definetely watch it twice at least!
