[Drama 2019] The Secret Life of my Secretary / I love you from the beginning, 초면에 사랑합니다

Cut to Dom with Doc.Gu at a hospital bench. Dom is having some imagination but Doc snapped him out of it. Dom told the Doc that the two women he is in love with turned out to be the same person. Doc said isn't that good. Dom whined that's not the issue now. Doc applied some medicine on him, saying there must a good reason why. Dom was whining whose side are you on actually. Doc patronized him and said yeah, yeah she is a bad person. But good thing that she gave you the medicine to take and your rash is not too bad. Dom whined again and left the Doc. He went to his office, saw a yacht model, the toy that DJ gave him when younger. He recalled that time.

Cut to DJ on a phone, I think with the detectives, the doorbell rang. It's Dom with the yacht model, trying to make peace with DJ. He is then seated in the living room and DJ served him some drinks. DJ asked why he cannot recognize the driver as attacker (I think). Dom finally told DJ that he cannot see DJ's face, very tearily He said that he cannot read facial expression thus cannot know the heart. He apologized to DJ.

 

GH at her home, looking at family pictures, she is asking why her mother is not showing up that night. She thought about Dom firing him, and crying. Oppa showed up behind her, asking her what's going on. GH told him that it's strange because Mom is not showing up, could she be hating her? Oppa asked what's the matter? She told him, and Oppa comforted her and hugged her...

Cut to GH. Sitting at home in her pjs. Talking to her mom who isn't there this time. Just talking to a picture. Oppa comes up to her. She starts crying about mom. Oppa rubs her back and she cries into his shoulder. Sad! 

 

Cut to secret secretary club meeting. Not sure but evil secretary is speaking to them about something. 

 

Cut to Dom and DJ watching a soccer team practice at night. DJ tells Dom he likes VP. Guess DJ will learn they never really kissed now. Or actually maybe not. Cuz DJ seemed a bit surprised that Dom was happy for him hehe.

Sec.Lee in front of all the other secretaries. She is announcing something that made everyone sad. She told them about what happened to Driver. I think she is telling them whatever happened in the future, it has nothing to do with them, like she is going to take all the blame/responsibility??

 

Dom and DJ sitting by a soccer match. Dom asked DJ whether he has settled his woman issues. DJ not telling much, but after Dom reminded him he cannot see the face, DJ finally told him that the girl he likes is VP. Dom is amused.

 

GH sleeping in, and VP came visited her. Woke her up. She pointed to all the tissue papers by her bed. GH told her that she is fired. VP is asking how she dealt with it yesterday and guessed as much what GH did. GH asked what she is supposed to do then, so VP offered her some advice. She gave her a credit card and said "Do well, see ya..." She walked out, but stopped at the door, looking back sadly towards GH's roo, picked up the phone and called someone. She is meeting with Dom, and introduced herself in her signature way, adding "Original Veronica Park". Dom rather ignored her, and asked her why she called him. Finally VP told him that it's all her fault, because GH wanted to stop but she asked her to keep going. Why? Because of KDJ. Then it's the preview part where she told him about how happy GH was when he said he likes her.

Morning. VP shows up at GH's house. Guess she isn't gonna let GH sulk around. Yup no idea what they're talking about. Did VP give her a credit card? Lol not sure. VP leaves and calls Dom to go meet him. 

She introduces herself as original VP. Dom is just like yeah and doesn't even shake her hand. Dom doesn't seem interested in being there. Guess she's gonna try pushing for GH. She's being very sincere. Talking about how happy GH was when she learned Dom liked her. Dom just looks sad. 

Nighttime he goes back to his office and meets DJ there. They talk about evil secretary (who is still working) briefly. Now they're talking about GH finally. Guess DJ is telling him about the night at the movie theatre. Dom is listening but still sulking.

Dom returned to his office where DJ is waiting for him. They talked a bit about Sec.Lee. Then DJ asked about GH, Dom not interested to talk, saying that he can manage on his own. DJ told him that he saw the expression of GH when she said she wants to make good use of the last moment with Dom (in the cinema) DJ urged Dom to accept GH who likes him.

 

Dom returned home, greeted his mother. His mother scolded him and asked him about the woman he is seeing and the guy VP is seeing. Dom then asked whether mother didn't know about his allergies towards peanuts. He said that DJ and GH knew about it. He apologized that he has disappointed her, but nonetheless, (walked up to her and hugged her) he loves her. Dom in his bedroom, looking at his rashes, then thought about the medicine that GH slipped into his pocket, and we saw the medicine almost finished on his desk. He went to bed, checking his phone, but no calls nor texts. He sulked.

 

GH at the hospital taking off the cast. Stupid doc wanted to saw through the heart sign, good thing GH stopped him from doing that, and asked him to saw at another point. She walked out with the small piece of the cast with the heart. Then she was happy to see Dom walking from afar (as in preview) but Dom walked past her without recognizing her. She worried about how he looks and whether he is eating well. Then also that the next day is the Directors meeting, would he be okay by himself.

Dom goes home, talks to mom about the situation. He hugs mom but she doesn't hug back. He goes to his room and looks at his neck rash. It's gone. Remembers medicine GH stuck in his pocket. He looks at his phone. Sulking more. Sad Dom.

 

Cut to GH getting her cast cut off. How long has it even been? She asks the doc to cut around the heart. Aww. She leaves and sees Dom in the hallway. She gets happy and smiles but he walks right past her and she gets sad again. Guess he didn't notice her at all. She does a voiceover in her head. She seems sad and sorry and worried for him. She's holding the little heart from the cast. End of half ep.

GH outside now. She goes and eats a nice looking meal. She goes to a storefront and looks at some little dolls. She asks them questions and they nod or shake their head lol. She buys one of the little dolls. Omg!!!!! She went to watch a play and who came out on stage? Her sister!!!!! Omomomomo

They are meeting now. Ofc GH is crying and upset. Sis is trying to justify herself. GH is yelling at her. But then I think she realizes she's yelling at her sis for being deceitful, when she herself was so deceitful. She's calming her words down now. She suddenly runs off. I guess to go find Dom. 

 

She goes to the office to see Dom. He isn't thrilled to see her. I think he tells her to leave. But she stays. She talks to him some more. Not sure about what. He listens but still wants her to leave. But he lets her keep talking. He finally walks off for good and shuts the door on her.

GH walking by a cafe and remembered VP's advice to have good food. So she sat and enjoyed the food. Then she was looking at some cute figurines at a display window, talking to it. The figurine responded to her every questions, including nodding when she asked if she should go find and talk to Dom again. She was amused and entered to buy the figurine. Next she went to watch a play, and belatedly realized one of the actors is the little sister. Both locked eyes and shocked. After the play, both seated and GH started scolding her sister, and in the middle of scolding her, she stopped with a realization. She asked NH to repeat what she just said, and something dawned on her. She told NH she needs to go to her office, and rushed off.

 

Dom in his office with stacks of documents on the table. GH appeared and announced herself (as in preview). Dom asked her whether she doesn't understand the meaning of fired. She said she knows but still, she asked for only three minutes, no, just one minute to talk to him. Dom asked her to leave, he wants to hear nothing from her. He walked out and made coffee. GH took the opportunity and said then I'll just ask for the time while the coffee is pouring. She told him some stuff and that she is happy being a woman next to him, and apologized. Dom clearly shaken but he took the coffee and said that is all right? and walked back to his office. GH asked to help him just one last time, as secretary, don't think of her as a woman, and she won't think of him as a man, because the next day is a very important day for him. Dom still asked her to leave, reminding her that he told her once he won't be able to trust anyone, there is no more place for her here (looking at her desk)

Nighttime date with VP and DJ. Her mother spots them and psycho music plays in background. Mom comes outside and VP holds out her arms to protect DJ from mom's wrath. But we know VP plays hard too. Well that wasn't much a showdown. Mom said some words but then walked off. VP and DJ end in a romantic moment.

DJ and VP at her place by an outdoor fire. They're talking about GH, and mother appeared. VP became protective about DJ. Mother said is this the guy that make her not going to marry Dom? DJ bowed and greeted her when he knew it's VP's mother. VP is talking bad about her mother, but DJ hushed her saying how can this woman be violent? Mother softened just a tad but next question was who is your father? VP told her that he is a person who won't meet her requirement. Anyhow, DJ figured out that that GH is doing all those things because of him. More talking between them.

 

Dom is leaving his office, but he spotted GH waiting for him outside the building. He is wondering if that's her and why she isn't going home yet. He then got a call to meet with someone, and he went to hand that person a document. He then quickly peeked again to the spot where GH was sitting earlier. But she is not there anymore.

 

Uncle's office, they're analyzing the voting possibilities for president. Suddenly a person came in to announce something that shocked them, about CinePark signing something. Uncle went out hurriedly and sneaked into Dom's office, searching for some stuff, and he saw the printed excel document on his table. So he took it and make a call to someone to check on the file. Just as he was updated on the file and walking out, Sec.Lee saw him, so she approached him and told him it's all her fault. Uncle is still insistent to fire all the secretaries. Sec.Lee stopped him from leaving, and made a deal with him, by offering information about Dom's medical condition. He started to smile and she told him to make sure he keeps his promise.

Dom leaving office at night. He sees GH is still sitting outside waiting for him. But he gets a call and meets with some business dude. He looks outside but she's gone now. He seems a little disappointed. 

Something going on with the uncle and other board member higher up guys. Uncle is mad, goes sneaking into Dom's office. He's snooping around for something. He finds that weird file. Dom had it printed put on his desk. He leaves with the file. Evil secretary spots him leaving with the file. Confronts him in front of the elevator. Uncle goes to leave but she blocks him. Dom is mentioned. Threats? I'm not sure.

Dom at home at night. He's looking for something. It's after midnight. He returns to office. He sees GH walk by in the lobby area. He goes upstairs. Goes to her desk. Her red cardigan is still on her chair. He opens up her journal and sees her confession note. He remembers what VP and DJ said and her stubbornness refusing to leave the office. He leaves the building holding her cardigan. He's looking for her but she isn't outside.  But suddenly she comes running up to him.

Dom in his room on a call, then realized something is missing, could it be in his office. So he ran back to office. At the main lobby, he saw GH leaving. He went up to his office but before entering, he stopped by GH's desk and making comments about her stuff and cardigan. He also opened her agenda, and found the written confession there. While reading it, he recalled DJ's and VP's information about GH. He slipped the note back into the agenda. He wondered if he should go find her. Next we see him going out the building with the red cardigan in hand. He can't find GH, but just then she called out to him and asked if he needs anything. He said something, she told him where, and then just shoved the cardigan into her hands, then left. GH offered to help him find it, he hesitantly asked is she trying to earn forgiveness? She said no, just that he might need her help finding something like just now. He asked is it really okay if just a day, that after tomorrow she will stop being his secretary? She said yes. He said because he still hates her and mad at her, but besides her, there is no one else he can ask for help (I think). Then he took the cardigan from her hand, and put it on her while saying so tomorrow, for one day, wear this, and come to work. GH smiled a bit, while Dom still sulking. ~ End of episode. (and I think there's a new OST here??)

They talk a little. He is still a little pouty. He hands her the cardigan and goes to leave again. They are having a cute little pouty stand off. He says some words then takes the red cardigan and puts it over her shoulders. She smiles some. So not together but she's back as secretary it seems. She's gonna have to prove herself now and protect Dom at all costs!

Not many Dom and GH scenes tonight but the ending made up for it
