Dream pair Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk will be starring in the latest K-drama ‘Weightlifting Fairy‘, which is set to air on Oh!K this November 17, so make sure to mark your calendars!

 

Bok-ju (portrayed by Lee Sung Kyung) is a weightlifter whose life revolves around her sport. With little time to herself, she has never thought about love. Little does she know, love is about to knock her down when she meets national swimmer, Joon-hyung (portrayed by Nam Joo Hyuk).

The K-drama also stars Lee Jae Yoon and Kyung Soo Jin, with a cameo by Lee Jong Suk! Watch out for that one!

Don’t forget to tune in to ‘Weightlifting Fairy’ every Thursday and Friday at 8pm on Oh!K (Astro B.yond Channel 394) starting November 17!

Only a few more hours 'til the pilot episode you guys! 

They're definitely the underdog going up against Lee MinHo and Jeon JiHyun but nevertheless, let's cross our fingers that this drama would still get decent ratings.

The highlight teaser is tooooooooo cute! I love how Nam Joo Hyuk bothers the hell out of Lee Sung Kyung and what I got from the highlight teaser is that they are childhood sweethearts?

@staygold i couldn't give a full review of the pilot episode just yet because i'm still waiting on the eng subs, i only understood bits and pieces. Ending scene of ep 1 though is the scene where Joon Hyung saves Bok Ju from the pool.
