A lot of you talked about possibly getting Second Lead Syndrome, I actually think there might be a 3rd male lead. You see, I saw 5 pictures of the leads, 2 girls and 3 guys. KB is the one we have been ignoring as a possible romantic suitor, he is basically a super-skilled martial art protector. His early demeanor of being totally serious and super athletic has loosen lately around Ra On. At the dinner table eating chicken with RO and CP, KB actually cracked up from silly things that RO said. There are also some interaction of just the two. The wonderful sunset scene also involved KB. I have a sad premonition that KB will died at the end as a sacrifice to the kingdom. But I really like the 3rd male lead.

First time here in this drama thread,, since Doctors is finished this is my monday and tuesday sched now,,, im really not fond of sageuk but coz its Bogummy i can't resist to watch it, he's really an eye candy..and this drama is really fun to watch it's like im being  a teenager again swooning in their cheesy banter.

After jumping up and down last night knowing the rating for episode 3 (I checked ratings for every ep), I decided to come here to share my happiness. I still can't believe the rating doubled, all the viewers must be Doctors' viewers! I'm really glad and happy for all the staff and the cast. I hope they can continue like this.

The first two episodes cracked me up all the time, they were so cute and fun. XD XD The interaction between Crown Prince and his Mong Mong-ie is just too cute to handle. I laughed to death when CP was trying to help (or bother:)) ) RO every round to make her pass the test  

Episode 3 helped me have a insight look into the childhood of CP and his relationship with the King. I seriously cried during the conversation between Young and the King, how disappointed Young has been and how desperate the King has been  In the end when he called out 'Father' it was my most favourite scene

I have skimmed through tonite's ep and yoohoooo Ra On stole my heart  Kim Yoo Jung is srsly pretty I must say, I've been waiting forever for her main lead role. I can't say anything about Park Bo Gum coz he's just too adorable. I've seen him acting in two dramas (Hello Monster & Reply 1988) and felt that he has the potential (To portray different characters). It's like when he doesn't smile and looks serious it's scary, and when he's smiling I'm like *flowers everywhere here*. It may be too early to say he pulls off the role 100% perfectly but I still wanna say his expressions, his emotional acting are amazing (and he does pull it off amazingly haha) <3 I hope he does well in the upcoming eps too.

Tonite ep also revealed the secret between Ra On and Yoon Sung :'( how I wish the CP knows it too, though I know it will take another 10 eps before him falling in love with her and finding out the truth I haven't felt the second male lead syndrome yet, I wish Young and Yoon Sung reconcile soon, oh bromance . Jin Young has been steadily improving as an actor, looking forward to him too

I rarely watch sageuk and if I did I usually just skip the parts watching it raw or drop in between but this youth MDBC has drawn me in. I haven't read the novel so I don't know how the story will be, I just wish it won't be too heavy so that my heart can take it and there will be a happy ending for everyone

Yoojung has grown up to be a very beautiful young lady. As a long time fan, I am so proud of her. I have known her for her extraordinary talent but she's just too adorable here and her dancing scene was mesmerizing. I can't take my eyes off her and the crown prince. How can I wait till next Monday.

My favorite thing about the bts pics 

is that in the drama PBG brings all the strength, charisma, playfulness, and sex-appeal of a leading man

yet in the bts pics he looks like a slightly goofy overgrown kid just having tons of fun--he is so not working on being cool--and I love that.

that quality reminds me of Raul Julia [RIP] one of my favorite stage and film actors.  When working he oozed sex [see Kiss of the Spiderwoman] but when he was just being himself he looked like a quiet, gentle, college professor. 

 Also love the kid playing the young crown prince.  He is even better than he was in Five Children.  [Kind of concerned though, isn't he a bit young to be running from drama to drama without a break. Ah well.  I'll just Hushhh]
