I agree. I want a Hyesun as my BFF in real life too. The tears she shed for him, her true concern, her unwavering stance beside him, always supporting him and providing advice. Kang Hana really shone in this drama that's for sure!
Can I at least say, I feel full from happiness. I'm satisfied knowing our euroshin-dam are living happily ever after in dramaland. Watching their couple-y interactions at the end just felt so fun and so natural, these two make me happyyyyyyy

@realistic2280a such an old trope, truck of doom! haha. But he needed to show selflessness to become human! I'm glad it was not a kiss or saranghe from Dam to Euroshin that allowed him to become human though.

Seriously made me so happy, absolutely LOVE how they posted couple pictures of Dam-Euroshin instead of photos as a group or just as their characters. It shows how much KY and Hyeri loved these two too, right? And can I add, this is by FARrrrrr the most number of pictures both have posted about their dramas. I mean, KY didn't even post any for his movie sweet and sour! It goes to show how special this drama is to them both

Even if not a couple now, their on/off screen chemistry and that level of comfort with each other is undeniable.
Everytime JKY looks at her, its either with such concentration or he's all smiles.
I can't wait for our happy ending tonight, even though I don't want it to end!

Maybe they're worried about spoilers?
Will we even get a final group photo from the entire cast and production team? No post drama dinner like they used to do pre covid too
To think JKY and Hyeri have already moved on and are working on separate projects whilst us drama fans are worried about heartbreak with ep 16's preview, and don't wanna let them go yet

@inaho101 @rocher22 Am I the only one who thinks JKY looks different at times when he comes on screen? If not for his height in those stills where he was giving Dam the necklace, I would've thought it was someone else too! And when he's most haggard/skinny he kinda resembles Kim Woobin?
Anyone else here was a teeny weeny little bit disappointed they didn't show an extended version of their steamy kiss at the beginning? I mean that, ON TOP of their recollection of the night would have topped it all off for me
But it is cute how she ends up wearing his shirt the next morning. Haha

I was wondering what sort of a cliffhanger they would give us.
Episode 15 was too placid and full of lovey dovey scenes from both couples, I thought, how would they sustain the viewership till the end? But this!
GAHhh I wish they wouldn't play with out hearts (or as Hye Sun loves to say, her liver, whenever she's shocked
)
Grrr.. I wanted more time to see our couple grow and what their future would be like, but now we have to battle his potential disappearance! Although on the positive side, I would loooooove to see JKY and Hyeri's melo acting. I just wish they didn't choose to do it on our very last episode
Seriously, it feels like episode 15 and 16 should be flipped. Can't deal seeing Wooyeo break down in tears and more of his heartbreaking confessions

@amanda16 I didn't know they shared the same bottle
. I especially loved his antics in Saturday Night Live where he's clearly the older one, but will not hesitate to show aegyo in front of her (and everyone on set and watching the show for that matter!), begging her to come out and dance with him .
@agenth LOVE their pictorial for LOOK, and you picked just about the best gif! I loved this moment where they looked at each other, and man his smile and that laughter, everything was so genuine. No wonder korean netizens were going on about their undeniable chemistry.
And just the way he looks at her- whether it is as Euroshin looking at Dam with his gentle melo eyes, or as JKY exuding happiness whenever he looks Hyeri. It just melts my heart!
What am I going to do after tomorrow when the drama comes to an end! No more euroshin and his heartbreaking yet absolutely touching confessions about wanting Dam to stay by his side. Ahhh the perils of falling in love with this couple and their amazing journey.

Hi everyone! Finally decided to post as the end is drawing near.
Absolutely gonna miss this couple and their story so bad. Their feels, the way JKY looks at her, Hyeri's liveliness and energy, Euroshin and Lee Dam are slowly starting to morph into JKY-Hyeri for me
. Not sure if there are other CLOY fans here, but watching JKY-Hyeri's informal TVN interview reminded me soooo much of HB and SYJ's interactions! Teasing each other, him looking at her like its just them in the room, laughing together and that level of comfort, omg the sparks in the air 
. If ONLY we could ship them too, ah my heart There's some bits of the drama that could have been explained a bit better to immerse the audience, "fox-rain" being one of them, that way Dam could sense when Euroshin was heartbroken too--but maybe this wasn't a topic in the webtoon? And the suspense/danger from the Maegu in ep6-7, I wish Dam knew how Euroshin was protecting her.
Either way, I haven't fallen in love with a drama in awhile given how all the recent productions are either makjangs or tackles societal issues that are far too serious.
Love love love how everything about this drama is so simple and so light-hearted. Looking forward to more of our lovely Fox couple in our last 2 eps!

Thank you for the first link! That has been by FAR the best and most conclusive comparison I have seen. Wow, that difference in treatment with his two leading ladies. I reckon its a good indicator of how close and his level of comfort with SJH is, because it was his most recent previous drama (hence his behaviour/character on set and the way he treats others would be similar). Its clear that he is still his friendly and set mood maker self with Lee Sun Bin, jokes and laughs around, but that skinship that is so apparent with SJH (and not only in this BTS from DM but many others too)! Granted LSB is well known to be attached hence maybe the 'physical distance'. But that proves that SSH and SJH must both be single, otherwise they would've been slightly more restrained, skinship-wise
, and what I realised, is that SJH often initiates the skinship with SSH too @fiona628 its my first time watching their exfoliator BTS in slow mo and so well analysed. Haha, yes I could re watch this clip of them both being so touch feely and happy all at the same time over and over too!

Omg I am SO glad this forum is back up!! I felt slightly lost without being able to meet and read what everyone had to say the last few days.
Thank you everyone for continuing to contribute, I will backread in detail later, but I thought I could quickly give my 2 cents worth re. the radio interview even if my korean isn't quite all there.
@huckleberrymoonriver @fiona628 @PreciousByTheBay So at 30:13 Yeong Cheol asked SSH to record a morning wake up call for the fans out there, and SSH sang Paul Kim's song. From what I know, SSH often listens to PK, even on I live Alone that (PK's songs) was on his playlist. Plus he did seem rather flustered at the sudden request and just "blurted" out the song.
The rest of the conversation between 30:13 and 32:13 was nothing significant, just SSH reenacting a line from Autumn in my Heart to a special request from a fan who wrote in to share her woes about gaining weight due to her unhealthy late night snack choice such as fried chicken/tteokbokki/pigs trotters. SSH then cringed after saying the line and commented that it is not uncommon for actors to be asked to renact a famous quote from a well known drama. Howwever during filming, due to the setup and atmosphere on set, whilst everyone is immersed and concentrating, it is easier to recite lines that are romantic/touching but could seem cheesy IRL without context (in ref to that line from Autumn in my Heart).
SSH was also queried by a radio listener what Kim Yeong Cheol meant to him and he said whilst they haven't been acquainted for that long (they met thru DM), he is a fun and well mannered older friend who is worth keeping in contact with for a long time to come.
Then Kim Yeong Cheol goes on to read out the lines that identifies his radio program and gets SSH to do the same "you are now listening to KYC's powerfm..." to which he also sings PK's song at the end of it again. (Again if there are fluent korean speakers in here please feel free to correct me!)
But wow, interesting observation @huckleberrymoonriver . If he really did choose that song with purpose, plus his Ra.D song request,
he is SUPER romantic! His "read my words between the lines of my song requests" are sooo strategically planned. Hahaha
@akhenaten I agree with all your observations, no way SSH is seeing anyone if he is so forward with his praises for SJH even if it was for 'promotion' of the drama. And no way would they be so comfortable with skinship off camera if they had a significant other half.

Omg I LOVED her drunk talk in front of Penguin scene. That must be one of her best ad-libs. I thought that was seriously natural, yet chic and oh-so-lovely + cute. If I were a man, I would definitely fall in love with her drunk antics
And how heart fluttering was it when she said to HK that she had been waiting for him! (Even if it turns out she meant her ex).

I agree! I kinda liked SJH with KJH back then, not to the point of shipping but I liked the vibe of them together. However, he seems a little more uptight (given his controversy from last drama and eagerness to do well in CLOY) and the sparks just wasn't existent between them two despite the friendliness BTS. They definitely only gave off the friend/colleague vibe.

@starrynic @fiona628 I remember reading the initial reactions of netizens when the drama first aired and I too kinda skipped DM after the first episode. Whilst I don't agree with netizens that the acting was bad, I think it was the filming style and slightly over-the-top comedic acting that caused some to turn away. SSH has a particular tone (and I don't mean his voice, he has a great soothing and calm voice!) when he is acting (at times) that comes off as robotic (not trying to diss I promise, just an observation). And I mean, SJH herself did say that she felt a little awkward at first with the exaggerated acting but was able to ease into it and initiate more ad-libs later on. As a viewer, I could tell. It was certainly more natural as time went on.
Still, as everyone has observed, SSH was brilliant in his emotional scenes and together, the two gave off amazing chemistry when acting with each other

@PreciousByTheBay Thank you SO much for sharing SSH's fan account and their observations of him. It warms my heart to hear that he is such a sensitive and caring soul and now more than ever before, I really hope he can find the love he seeks and settles down (it would be icing on the cake if that woman is SJH! Hehehe). Whenever I think of how cut he must have been after his last breakup, episode 10 of DM comes to my mind. On the rooftop of 2NBox, when he proclaims that he has mustered up all his courage just to confess his feelings to DH since he stopped believing in love. To me, that scene felt very much like SSH himself speaking (even if he wasn't necessarily confessing his feelings for SJH) and in the BTS I remember the director teasingly said to SSH after he rehearsed his line "I like you WDH", "why does it sound/appear/seem like you are about to cry. Do not cry" and proceeds to give SSH a pat on his back
. Also, SJH had said to him after a particular take where they stood looking at each that "Oppa, I can see that you are being awkward now". No idea what context that was, but my delulu mind is going why was he being awkward? Her big eyes/her beauty/having to profess his love when in reality his feelings were budding too?? I remember back during the days of 'My Princess' I used to think that he and KTH would make a good couple. There were many times you could tell he was being himself, he really enjoyed the company of KTH even if they were only acting, and it was one of those dramas that was partially sustained by their chemistry. But I watched their BTS and whilst there was certainly laughter and friendliness, KTH did not quite respond to him in the same manner SJH does, and SSH was slightly less playful (although thay could also be due to the selection of BTS scenes shown). Then I saw the IG shot of the actors from Player catching up where he took a really close shot with Krystal (and the rest) and I thought, hmmm maybe he is just really friendly (when amongst the people he likes) and easy going, so I shouldn't read too much into his interactions with SJH. But as @Phanhlee98 said, based on their interactions on the videos I posted from Lifebar on the previous page, they appear sibling-like. And I got the same vibe between him and his co-star from the previous drama (Kwangsoo's gf, sorry I forgot her name!).
So rambling aside, there is definitely mutual attraction or should I say they harbour favourable feelings towards each other

@akhenaten I have to give them credit for their acting (it is their profession after all. Lol), to a certain degree. But the emotion that flows naturally and the chemistry that exudes from their interactions can not be made up. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many of us supporting these 2 as a result of a drama that did not necessarily generate the greatest hype. I wouldn't worry about being delusional! It all comes with shipping as we desperately hope for the best for the couple we stan. However, I am with you that if either of them is exposed to actually be dating someone else this whole time, I would be crushed.
But (try as I might!), I guess we need to remember that meeting your other half and settling down is all about timing and priorities in life, whether it leads to anything remains to be seen. SSH has to stay hot on her tracks if he's genuinely interested that's for sure!

But if it was indeed an ad lib, then that will really imply that SJH isn't just comfortable with SSH as her co-star but she also trusts him implicitly not to take advantage of her. Or it can mean the two of them have already reached THAT level of familiarity and comfort between them that such actions have become normal.
The ONE BTS I was dying for the moment I watched episode 15 was the hospital scene but we didn't get it.
I agree that it was an ad-lib as well, but ad-libs are simply an improvision to the script (and are often added on) whilst rehearsing prior. I believe SSH devised the kisses and SJH played along, much like the blind date 'head-grabbing' scene, because there were different takes of that peck on the lips scene.
But @akhenaten your theory that they are just so comfortable with each other that the kiss could be a spur of the moment and yet come out so natural looking would definitely work too!
What was definitely an unplanned ad-lib that the director decided to keep its original cut in the broadcasted episode was definitely after the attempted 3rd kiss when SSH commented that he drinks water in that manner (pursed lips) and SJH bursts out laughing at his random comment and comical looks. AHH, these two, I just can't!

For those who are interested (I remember someone asked earlier on about what SSH is like since everyone here seems to mostly focus on SJH). I've been randomly watching some videos on Youtube since there aren't many long time SSH fans here to tell us what he's like (and my general perception of him has been clouded by korean netizens who lump him together with Lee Byung Hun
) and I came across a few clips of him on Life Bar during their promotion of the drama Player.
Since it is the most recent other than "I live Alone", I reckon its a good indication of his views that's worth sharing
In this first video, Krystal cracks up laughing after Heechul asks what SSH's ideal type is and what sort of women appeals to him. Upon probing by HC, Krystal reveals that in their casual conversations about relationships, SSH once mentioned that a woman with a good body attracts him first.
But SSH immediatly attempts to defend himself by explaining that it has been taken out of context, and that Krystal should explain how the statement came about.
He says that when Krystal asked, "Oppa, which part of a woman attracts your attention on first impression?" He had replied "her inner self (heart)", but Krystal retorts that back then, he said "body first, then her character/inner self (directly translated as heart)".
But he trys to correct the misleading statement by reiterating that the conversation they had was "where would your vision land when you first meet someone of the opposite gender? Naturally, I answered their physique and external traits. But that doesn't mean that I would simply fall in love/date someone based on something so superficial".
HC then proceeds to tease him by saying that, "although this is what your claim, the women you have dated have all been beautiful". Lolol
I suppose when taken out of context, SSH could be easily misunderstood. But watching his BTS and his varied appearances on TV and how he interacts with his celebrity friends (both famous and not so famous), I still choose to believe that he mentioned looks as a matter-of-fact, but he values character and mutual chemistry as that determines compatibility.
In short, SJH definitely fulfills his criteria! I'm sure we all know how much he was wowed by her beauty. But naturally her fun loving self and their undeniable chemistry, plus her strong character really would appeal to him if what he has said on various interviews is true!
On his outlook towards marriage (from beginning to about 2:00 mark):
SSH mentions that he doesn’t feel lonely. He loves hanging out with his friends and catches up with them often. But recently, he has come to the realisation that it is getting more difficult as some of them are married, or have children. Once someone is married vs someone who is single, they are on a separate life cylcle (i.e. have different priorities). HC asks if he is thinking of getting married, SSH says he has always wanted to, but recently he is considering if he is a fit for marriage and if it is the right thing to do. Upon asking his friends, they advise him that whilst getting married is a good thing, he should still take it step by step, and date for a longer period before rushing into marriage (despite SSH who feels like he wants to settle down quickly).
It appears to me that he is quite the romantic type who, once he is in love, will want to take it to the end (after all he has mentioned in the past about wanting to settle down when he was dating LYF). But like all single-tons who are used to living alone and who have been for awhile, there is always the apprehension of settling down.
Maybe we need SJS who is happily married to give him a bit of encouragement?

@akhenaten I noticed in their BTS (mind you its usually just short exclamations or phrases so it can't be conclusive) that SJH often speaks in informal korean to him too. A sign that they truly are comfortable with each other! With Oh Hye Won calling SSH sunbae, well, she has only debuted for 2 years or so, its probably normal since he is so many years her senior.
I think it really depends on the level of formality of the event (or it could just boil down to personality or level of comfort between two people) when it comes to how one addresses the other in a public setting. For example, Park Shin Hye addressed Hyun Bin as Sunbae during their press con but in BTS and informal interviews called him Oppa. I think because DM's presscon was held as an online event, the atmosphere was certainly less formal, which can also be seen by the setup of the presscon (usually actors are seated at a table, rather than being closely situated to each other).
@akhenaten @huckleberrymoonriver I thought I was the one who felt they resembled each other the more I watched their BTS!! I didn't wanna point it out in case it was a case of 'you don't think all Koreans look alike do you?'

Yes TVN posted a BTS. Finally! They hardly posted anything on MYIAG on IG throughout the series. And now that its ended on a considerable high, we get this
Very simple, part of everyday shooting BTS, but look how close they stuck their faces together as a couple for the drama. So cuttttteee.
