KBS 2TV’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” released new stills of Lee Jae Wook!

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of an energetic pianist named Goo La La (Go Ara) and an expert part-timer named Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook). The two come to a piano academy called “La La Land” in a small countryside village with secrets and scars that they are hiding.

Sun Woo Joon is a character who seems cold and uncaring but actually has a heart of gold. He’s rough with his words, but he’s also surprisingly delicate. His efforts to distance himself from others will bring a wave of sympathy, and his indifferent personality will highlight his unique charms even more.

The newly released stills shine a light on Sun Woo Joon’s lonely life. He takes a desolate break at the construction site he’s working at, and when his shift is over, he gazes up at the sky with heavy shoulders. In another still, he appears in a suit with a vexed expression on his face, and the cut on his lip hints that he was involved in a physical fight. In a different photo, his eyes are flashing with anger as he snatches away the cellphone of a person who took photos of him. His wary behavior increases the curiosity about the secret behind his complicated life.

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is an upcoming drama from KBS about an energetic pianist named Goo La La (Go Ara) and an expert part-timer named Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook) who meet at a piano academy called “La La Land” in a small countryside village.

In the drama, Lee Jae Wook and Kim Joo Heon play characters who are at very different points in their lives. Sun Woo Joon appears cold on the outside but has a surprisingly warm heart. Kim Joo Heon plays Cha Eun Suk, an orthopedic surgeon who loses his passion and laughter due to burnout. Sun Woo Joon is intrigued by Cha Eun Suk’s maturity and talent, while Cha Eun Suk regains his zest for life through Sun Woo Joon and Goo La La’s youthful antics.

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” has shared a first glimpse of Go Ara, Ye Ji Won, and Shin Eun Soo’s relationship!

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is an upcoming drama from KBS about an energetic pianist named Goo La La (Go Ara) and an expert part-timer named Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook) who meet at a piano academy called “La La Land” in a small countryside village.

Ye Ji Won will star as an eccentric woman named Jin Sook Kyung, and Shin Eun Soo will play her daughter Jin Ha Young, who has a huge crush on Sun Woo Joon.

On September 25, the drama released new stills of Goo La La, Jin Sook Kyung, and Jin Ha Young. Although the three end up living under one roof together, they are not on the best terms. Jin Sook Kyung can’t help but be annoyed by Goo La La’s brazen personality, whereas Jin Ha Young regards Goo La La as a love rival and often squabbles with her. Despite the fact that Jin Sook Kyung and Jin Ha Young don’t treat her very nicely, Goo La La remains unfazed and doesn’t hold any grudges.

Jin Soo Kyung and Jin Ha Young will also make viewers laugh with their mother-daughter chemistry. As a single mother, Jin Soo Kyung is raising Jin Ha Young by herself, and she constantly nags her daughter to do better. Jin Ha Young, who is in her senior year of high school, can’t be bothered to listen to her mother and solely focuses on her unrequited love for Sun Woo Joon.

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is a new drama about an energetic pianist named Goo La La (Go Ara) and an expert part-timer named Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook) who meet at a piano academy called La La Land in a small countryside village. Scriptwriter Oh Ji Young raised anticipation for the drama by describing it as a “lovely drama with a mix of refreshing comedy, the happiness and sadness of love, and the happiness and touching moments of music.”

Despite an adverse change in her life causing her to unexpectedly land in a countryside village, Goo La La quickly adjusts to her new life. Eventually, she’ll become known as an honest piano teacher among the village people after opening a piano academy.

In the newly released stills, Goo La La actively advertises her new academy. Although she has played the piano for a long time, the term “pianist” hadn’t particularly suited her. Viewers are curious to find out what could have made Goo La La become sincere about playing the piano and what could have led her to open an academy in this unfamiliar village.

The stills also reveal the faces of the students who will be with Goo La La during her growth as a teacher. Sun Woo Joon, Cha Eun Seok (Kim Joo Heon), and piano genius Shin Jae Min (Song Min Jae) will become a small ray of light in Goo La La’s new beginning.

Go Ara, Lee Jae-wook in new stills for Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol

With the premiere just a few days away, KBS rom-com Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol has released new stills featuring lead actors Go Ara (Haechi) and Lee Jae-wook (I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day).

The drama takes place in a countryside small town where our main characters are brought together. Although they initially becoming acquainted through strange circumstances in which Go Ara becomes indebted to Lee Jae-wook, they eventually find connection and comfort through music. And as they learn and grow to be better people, presumably, shenanigans plus romance ensues.

Go Ara takes on the role of pianist Gu La-la. Energetic and overflowing with positivity, she’s a survivor who looks at the glass half-full in any circumstance or challenge. Although a little odd, she’s also straight-forward in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get way and likes to take the simple approach. In a life turning-point she moves to a small town, opens a small piano academy called La La Land, and quickly becomes a member of the community.

Lee Jae-wook plays Sun Woo-joon, who is an expert of sorts on working part-time, having taken on all sorts of part-time gigs that were thrown at him over the years. Being an introvert, he has a guarded personality around others and hides many secrets. But those who know him well can see that he is actually quite affectionate and very warm-hearted.

Lee Jae-wook has been a favorite of mine since Search Query: WWW, so I’m happy to see him in his first lead role. For Go Ara, I was surprised to read that this is her first role in a traditional rom-com and looking back, I am impressed that she continues to push herself in different roles. Fingers and toes crossed this is a good one!

Reasons to watch: It’s finally here! It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for our ~~dose of cute~~ Go Ara + Lee Jae-wook drama to premiere. In fact, I’m almost feeling a little sorry for this drama, which missed its timing due to pandemic delays, and also has its fair share of drama competition out there right now (especially in the music + romance department). While everyone might be tuning in mainly for Lee Jae-wook’s first leading role (myself included), let us not forgot that this drama is penned by the same writer of the hilarious, heartfelt mayhem that was Shopping King Louis. So, I’m rooting for this show. Be zany, wacky, and ridiculous — just don’t be boring.
