JC passed the documents to Prosecutor Lee and stepped out.

He saw YB and Mr Choi outside, YB shouting away.

 

Mr Choi then saw a fallen red maple leaf and remembered the same lead falling from the sky when he was hospitalised.

 

Then he saw JC walking towards him.

Oh richard simmons!

He gets knocked down by a car and JC is running towards him.

His head is bleeding profusely.

He remembers the time when he was hospitalised again.

He opened his eyes and JC was cradling him.

YB is taken away by the security.

I see JC seeing CHoi is going to be hit by a car. JC runs towards him to save him but he was too late.

JC and sunbae standing in front of the legal files but JC looking at his hand trembling. 

Sunbae received a text message, and he kissed the phone, 

Choi arrived and he was surprised and greeted him

he talked to JC and they hugged and he left

he saw Choi talking to YB then YB let go and shouted and go

JC saw all that and walked towards Choi

Standing Choi looked up and saw a maple leaf slowly falling down then recalled the time when he was at the hospital

he took the leaf and saying something in his mind,  looking at JC

JC also looking towards him and saw that a car is fast approaching him and he shouted at him but it was too late, he was bumped by YB and he fell to the ground, JC came to him holding him, all bloodied, shucks why does no one call 911 in moments like this in the drama! *flips tables*

JC assuring Choi while he keep telling him, sort of last words to JC and JC can only cry as he told Choi how they started when he first worked as prosecutor! 

shucks again, is there no ambulance

urgh!

mr.choi ask JC to say somethin, something that he said 13 years ago.. JC dont want to say it.. 

mr choi ask again.. "i dont have much time"

 

JC: if i meet u again.. i will treat u well.. i wont make u feel frustrated.. i have make u work late night everyday.. 

mr.choi.: dont blame yourself too much.. but remember it for a very long time.. that how my chief's son...

Scene to when the younger Mr Choi woke up in the hospital...

 

Saying that he needed to meet someone much later on.

 

At the funeral parlour, they were paying their last respects.

There was a paper bag which contained envelopes addressed to JC.

 

Scenes alternating to that of the younger days.

Last time, it was JC following HJ. 

But now, it was HJ following JC.

Back to the same room where he first met her and that baseball.

JC was on the floor, crying.

He looked up and saw HJ.

She then sat beside him, just like how he did back then.

HJ looked at him, inched closer and he burrowed his head in her chest to cry.

Exactly the same, years ago when they were younger.
