Traditionally, Kdrama provide this information in a iterative way (that is, over and over again) and this one doesn't. I think that's what's causing a lot of confusion for the audience. 

 

True, true re: actual practical production reasons for the change being intentional. (I'm just a little paranoid when it comes to this drama since the production side can be so messy, lol.) I really like your theory though! Makes sense. (I wonder if the obscured Gwangjong had his scar then? ) I just wish HS wondered about her visions more, not only worrying/freaking out about it. Like... the WHY of it all... We the audience are left to wonder and speculate but HS hasn't been shown to do that onscreen.

And YES to the bolded part. I think that's definitely part of the problem.

I have to say: after reading the theories behind how Soo's presence molded GJ into becoming a completely different ruler makes me appreciate the writer even more. I agree that some episodes have a LOT crammed in there but if you look back in EACH of the characters' complexities and the hidden meanings behind each episode, from soo's premonitions to the beautiful confrontation between So-Soo by the lake where Soo finally accepts So's love to ESSENTIALLY EVERYTHING (lol), this drama is absolutely brilliant! Yes, there were editing mistakes in the international version but man you gotta hand it to the ones involved with producing such an epic love story. It's amazing!

Hi everyone! I've mainly been lurking, but I noticed something on Z. Hera's Instagram that hopefully hasn't been posted before.

There was a picture circulating where she was wearing a Hanbok we hadn't seen before where people thought Soon Deok was pregnant, but some people said that it was because of Chuseok. But I also noticed this post from a week ago.

Does anyone remember seeing Soon Deok in this outfit before? There aren't that many scenes with both Yeon Hwa and Soon Deok, so unless I missed something it looks like a new scene, maybe suggesting Soon Deok survives?

I agree with your post entirely but the underlined words hit me the most because it's true, their love is one of a kind, different from the typical K-drama treatment of love stories, it has a slow build up but a solid foundation and it's accompanied and tested with a lot of hardships and suffering from the beginning and throughout it's journey, it is not fluffy, it is not for the weak heart but it is deep and it is real and it is for a lifetime. Knowing all this as you pointed out makes us cherish and grasp to every little happy moments they shared or will share together, knowing we only have 5 more episodes with so many things left to be unfold makes it even more harder for us.

Their love story is going to stay with me for a long time, for the moment I am not watching any other dramas, every other couple/love story in my head gets immediately compared to WS-HS and it pales in comparison, so I am enjoying this one until the end, with everything that will be given to us, be it happy, passionate, sad, heartbreaking, soul searing, whatever it is I will take it.

The Scarlet Heart: Ryeo cast reunited over one epic dinner party!

While Scarlet Heart: Ryeo episodes are still airing, the drama has officially wrapped up filming. And to celebrate the occasion, the entire cast reunited for what looks like an epic dinner party! 

According to the post on Lee Joon Ki's official Instagram account, the cast and crew reunited at an upscale restaurant in Seoul, and captioned the picture, "The first team dinner in a long time.” We can definitely spot Lee Joon Ki in the front, and there's IU,Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun,Kim San Ho and Yoon Sun Woo. Look a little harder and you'll even spot, Kang Han Na, Girls’ Generation’s Seo Hyun, Z.Hera, and more....

Seo Hyun also uploaded a picture to her own Instagram with the caption, “Together with my ‘Scarlet Heart: Ryeo family members, who I was glad to see when we gathered for the first time in a while.”
