No 40 mins. But I bring it down to 20 mins. I skip all the scenes that doesn't have Phoenix or the female lead. LOL.

Such is the life of a C drama viewer. Sigh. All c dramas have a minimum of 30 eps. Period dramas have more than 50 eps usually. And they have lots of side stories unlike k dramas. But sometimes the side stories will be interesting but not all the time.

Never watched anything else than kdramas. 20ep are max for me. But well, the last two episodes of Dance Sports Girls I broke it down to 5minutes. I skipped every scene I felt is unnecessary.

Ahhh @Dhakra I'm actually planning to watch Dance sports girl sometime later when I have finished obsessing over Phoenix. It has Jang Doo yeon, who I very much dearly loved in that poem drama. And it also has got very nice reviews in DB. And of course you hating it just cements the deal for me. I think I'll love it.

@kokodusI have never seen an OTP with lesser chemistry as in DSG. And I said although I love honeycakes. But the drama is so horribly cheesy and boring at times. If you really like it, I lose faith in your taste forever.  

For real, no one with the slightest desire for a good written story can tell me that there is anything good in DBS. Honeycakes aka female lead isn't really likeable, and how the OTP gets together simply make no sense from any pov.

It's just so poorly written. And no chemistry on top. That kills the drama by itself. 

 

The more I think about it, the more I see why I dislike it. And that although honeycakes is the Main lead.
