@sunshine4ever and @MarjorieA, i don't know if you gals are still watching "MDF", but here is a special treat for both of you. :-* i remember i had these photos saved for a while. since you two are watching the drama, i thought it was a perfect time to post them. i still haven't watch all the episodes yet. maybe one of these days, i will actually finish the whole drama. most of SY fans recommend "MDF", so i think i have to check it out no matter what.

@Micheru: Awww thanks for the treats of CJH-JSY pics from MDtF. I used to luv them soooo much. Still one of my all-time fav drama pairings until now. :x  Both are among the very few K actors who got their first main roles throughout daily drama and then manage to become much bigger stars after that. MDtF might not be their real breakout (probably yes for JSY since she got award, but I think more ppl will choose BM as her breakout. But for CJH his breakout was clearly GFB), however MDtF was an above average daily drama with high ratings, and with very good performances and chemistry between CJH-JSY despite 1st time being leads. In a span of 130 eps, JSY were a high school girl, a career woman (health worker), a wife, then a mother. For you who aren't familiar with daily drama, you will probably think it's a given progress since it was a long daily drama. But no. Not many daily dramas covered that much of life journey for the main character(s). That's why I was enamored with JSY in MDtF, no wonder her career take off rapidly after that.

Btw speaking about dr.S, it was a strong pilot (as expected from a script that needed 3 years in preparation and also Jin Hyuk PD). The rating also quite good for 1st eps. Got 1st place in TNMS and in AGB lost 0.3 points to Triangle but given the numbers difference between their predecessors Empress Ki and God's Gift, I dare say dr.S actually had more successful results for the pilot. When I looked at the live-ratings, dr.S numbers started increase significantly past 20 minutes mark, when the adult counterparts LJS-JSY started to appear. So let's hope that tonight results will be better.

@Micheru, dearest, you're such a sweetie. I really love those pics especially the modern pics of both of them. Truth be told I didn't even know that Choi Jin Hyuk was in MDTF lol. I just happened to view the promo in English version while I was watching Emergency Couple. Very surprised that Choi Jin Hyuk and Se Yeon were together as a couple in the drama. I think I might watch it because from reading the recaps, the drama seems like it is interesting. Although I don't have time now though I had tried to divide out the episodes and even though it looked like it is long. It is 131 episodes, but if you do some calculations then My Daughter, The Flower is only about 62 episodes in standard episodes of 1 hour per episode like usual drama.

^this thread just got created because some of us at Jin Hyuk's thread were interested in watching it... I'm at a turtle rate because I don't have time, but I will try to watch it. If anyone would like to, you can go there to find more about the drama and be careful because spoilers will be every where.

I suggested a thread in the k-drama because I didn't want the fans to be spoiled by our discussions. So I'm hoping some of you here will contribute to that thread as well. ^^

Just realized that JSY is currently the "hottest" actors from Mon-Tue dramas hahaha, as she's the only one among all the stars of three dramas that keep consistently appears in Top 10 search results in all portals (Daum, Naver, Nate) since two days ago. Yes, even more than the drama itself or LJS or the popular Jaejoong. Most of actors usually were out of top 10 few hours after their drama finished airs, but not JSY. And many dubbed her as the new icon of "National First Love."  

And about dr.S eps 2, wow what an exhausting (in a good way) experience. So sad for the yet once again separation between PH-SJH. So dramatic and touching. JSY was also good at bridge scenes, but I think she's amazing in that prison video watched by PH. That dirty appearances, those haunted eyes, those hacked hair, and then her hand gesture and PH's name calling. What a cruel fate, so much sufferings for her only in two eps.

Dr. Stranger" Jin Se yeon's First Love Shines In Beauty
Actress Jin Se Yeon was shining.

On the 1^st episode of SBS Monday/Tuesday drama "Dr. Stranger" broadcast on May 5^th, Park Hoon (played by Lee Jong Suk) and Song Jae Hee (played by Jin Se Yeon)'s dramatic romance was put forth.

Park Hoon followed his father (played by Kim Sang Joong) from when he was younger and ended up growing up in North Korea.  Song Jae Hee who he first meets in Park Hoon was his only reason for living and his first love.

Park Hoon started to sell South Korean tapes and proposed to Song Jae Hee with a ring and Song Jae Hee invited Park Hoon to his house.  However, on this day, Song Jae Hee's father who was from the Jo Chong Ryon was purged and Song Jae Hee was also lost.

Five years later, Song Jae Hee was ill from the prison camp and was brought to the hospital where Park Hoon was.  After rescuing Song Jae Hee by a miracle, he cries while conducting.

In the first episode, Jin Se Yeon shows off the charisma of an innocent and naïve woman and showed the epitome of what a first love woman is.  It'll be interesting to see what Jin Se Yeon will show in "Dr. Stranger."

Meanwhile, "Dr. Stranger" is about a genius doctor Park Hoon who was born in South Korea and grew up in North Korea and elite doctor Han Jae Joon (played by Park Hae Jin) of South Korea.  This is a medical melodrama mystery going up against a large conspiracy.  These people use Myung Woo University Hospital as a background and surrounded the selection of the Prime Minister Jnag Suk Joo's surgery team as their sotry is centered on love and competition.  It is broadcast on Monday and Tuesday at 10PM.
