Kim Soo Hyun chooses a movie titled ‘Covertness‘ as his upcoming project after became household name through hit drama The Moon That Embraces The Sun and was continued with super hit movie The Thieves this year.

In Covertness, Kim will play Won Ryu Hwan, a North Korean spy who infiltrates to the south and experiences identity trouble. The movie also describes the warm story between Won Ryu Hwan and the villagers where he lives as a cute funny boy but also a cold charismatic spy.

The movie is based on web-cartoon which was uploaded and run on popular Korean portal site Daum in 2010.

Beside Kim Soo Hyun, Covertness also added another handsome actors, Park Ki Woong and Lee Hyun Woo.

Park Ki Woong , the villain in Bridal Mask, plays Lee Hae Rang. He’s a playful spy, Won Ryu Han’s friend and also rival. Teenage actor Lee Hyun Woo (To The Beautiful You) plays Lee Hae In, a high  school boy with strict principle.

Alongside those young armada, Covertness also brings veteran actor Son Hyun Joo (Chaser) who will play chief instructor of North Korean spy agency. There’s also Kim Sung Kyun (movie War Against Criminal,Neighbors) who plays North Korean chief team.

How about the leading lady ?

20-year-old Park Eun Bin (Operation Proposal) features this movie as Won Ryu Hwan’s love interest.

Covertness will start its full swing filming on October 17 for 4 months and will hit the theater in 2013.

OMG, DH reunion, very happy for them.  All of them seem to be  really close to each other.  Waaah!!!! even after nearly 2 years, jjaaanngggg!!!!!

It would be nice if Soo hyun puts up more photos from their reunion in his weibo but I doubt it really like you said Kim Soo hyun values his private life too much to post something that isn't about work.... but before he used to post a lot in his cyworld, that's where they got the photo of him looking like a girl and the one he had written about him having a heart disease and his ideal girlfriend.

The good looking men of Korea are in the upcoming movie 'Covertness.'

The movie is based on the popular cartoon that was on the 2010 portal website 'Daum.' It is about the North Korean sply Won Ryu Hwan(Kim Soo Hyun) who is confused about his identity, and his relationship with the village people. It is a heart warming story with dynamic action and a moving narrative. Also, Park Ki Woong from 'Bridal Mask' and Lee Hyun Woo from 'To The Beautiful You' are in it. 

Kim Soo Hyun was casted for the role of Won Ryu Hwan who is a member of the North Korean elite troop. Kim Soo Hyun's acting skills were shown through the movie 'Thieves,' and in this movie, he is to show a cute village person who lacks intelligence, as well as a charismatic and cold spy.

Actor Park Ki Woong, who was known for his charisma in 'Bridal Mask,' is to act as Ri Hae Rang, who is Won Ryu Hwan's rival. His character is very playful and has free charms. Lee Hyun Woo who showed cute acting on 'To The Beautiful You,' is to act as Ri Hae Jin, who is a good looking high school student who always follows the rules. 

Also, the actor Son Hyun Joo who was known for his great acting skills in the drama 'The Chaser' is to act as Won Ryu Hwan and Ri Hae Rang's chief instructor for the special forces. He is to show great charisma and action, and is making audiences more curious to see it. The new actor Kim Sung Kyun from the movies 'Nameless Gangster' 'Neighbors,' '557 Project,' is to act as the NIS North Korea Leader named Seo Soo Hyuk. He is cold and sharp, which creates a nervous tension. 

The movie 'Covertness' is led by the director Jang Chul Soo that directed the film 'Bedevilled' that was invited for the 63rd Cannes Film Festival.

They plan to start filming on the 17th of next month. After 4 months of filming, they are going to release the movie in 2013.

Hey, I just saw some red carpet pics of the BIFF.  The ladies looked gorgeous.  Even Han ga In was there.  But there are no international stars except for Teresa Palmer. Too bad Soo HYUn was not there.  He could have added more glamour to the event cause there are not enough gorgeous men in the red carpet...
