I got a different response from another commenter in another forum, that Korean doesn't have a special tense for dead people. In any case, whether they're dead or alive, it is a sad fact that Ryan's adoptive parents never got the credit and acknowledgement they deserve. I hate that the drama made Ryan address a practical stranger as his mother - that woman did almost nothing for him. Adoption turned out to be the best thing for Ryan, but it's a shame the drama did not have the guts to acknowledge this point.

I agree. Whatever happened that led to the adoption, the adoptive parents did the best for Ryan, he is their son and they must have loved dearly. It is almost like blood vs nurture and blood is always thicker just because they share the same blood.

I will forever rue that the drama never gave Ryan's adoptive parents the credit they deserve. For me, they've done more for Ryan than anyone else in the world, and this should have been properly acknowledged. Ryan does speak of them fondly, and Deok-mi's mother did mention a few times that Ryan must have been raised by outstanding parents, but those just aren't enough. It has to be said though that Ryan's fluency in Korean is a bit unrealistic given that he's never stepped foot in Korea after being adopted - while his adoptive mother probably spoke to him in Korean, surely his adoptive father didn't. To reach that level of fluency requires more than just that. But well, we can probably handwave that away and say that he can do anything because he's Ryan Gold B)

I agree with you.  RG does talk about his adopted parents fondly; therefore, I would have hoped that since DM and RG went back to NYC, they would have spared 2 to 3 minutes of screen time showing  DM meeting his adoptive parents or having dinner with them.  That would have tied the story up with a nice bow.

@CarmarieI had asked this question many pages and pages ago and suggested to see some kind of communication between Ryan and his adoptive parents to let them know what is happening with him the sad and the happy afterall they would be concerned too. I got a post back from Korean speaking posters in the thread (can't remember who, sorry) how they interpreted what Ryan said to DM about his parents. They said that Ryan was talking about them using the "past tense" so they said that the parents must have passed away. If that were the case, I still would have thought that Ryan, lee Sol and DM's mom would have made a bow for them too while they were at the temple or at least light a candle for them at the church where Lee Sol first donated her last painting.

I am just going think that Ryan and DM while in NY visited the resting place of the adoptive parents to offer flowers. Ryan has got to live up to his name "Gold".

Here are 3 interviews of KJW for those interested. From reading these interviews, I can see why he swags naturally because his mindset swags. Courageous mind and body swag ... that is super sexy. He follows his own path .... One can see it in his work. I love the movie Antique, when you really see he is a true artist.  He talks about the lyrics he writes that it shows what he feels and thinks. I wish though that the songs would be translated in English.

This interview was done in 2010... I hope he will do an interview like this again and talk about the dramas he worked on

For me, KJW is effortlessly SEXY with capital letters.....:glasses: He is reeking pheromone..... He doesn't need to stripped down to show his sexiness. With every move of him the word "vogue" came into mind...

    add.

For years I thought he was mixed Japanese....:confounded:  He got certain swags that most Japanese actors have....I have never seen any K or C actors that swag like him....

Oh yeah, he is naturally sexy. In HPL I love, love when he came out of bath wrapped in black bathrobe and his hair still wet and mussed and I kept replaying that scene or freezing the screen just to watch... it makes one wonder what is inside the robe....  and yes effortless sexy, I agree

In the movie Butterfly Sleep, he was fully dressed and his jeans were folded above his ankle as he just finished giving the dog a bath and when he sat down to wipe his feet with red towel I found that so very sexy....I don't know why... but maybe it was the way he played his character laughing as he looked at the writer while wiping his feet...or maybe because he has this sexiness that slays.....and he is not even trying...

Another thought to this, if DM does becomes a photography artist, what would be her genre of line of photography, Idols?  that would not be likely. Fan-girling is her hobby, taking nice pic and caricature for her favourite idol is her hobby.

I find it great that the writer wrote it that galley curator is also an artist, which she took pride in recognising the artwork of the artist, finding nice spots to hang them up to exude the beauty of the art pieces. Although, we do dream of what we want, but with limitation in our skill set compared to others, we may end up in areas that are close to our dream, and performed them well with pride.

For me photography was more than a hobby for her, It was a passion and she was more of a proffesional photographer. Yes curating is also an art and I am just saying, it would have been nice for the story to include and explore Deok Mi's choices in fairness to DM. But that is just how I feel and am agreeing to the article posted. Regardless the drama is excellent and I enjoyed it very much.

  6. @violina saw this in Han Cinema: wonderful that she again will be working with an established actor. Supposedly it is a thriller. I am so happy for her

Kim Kang-woo and Seo Ye-ji Become a Couple With Secrets for "Tomorrow's Memory"

"Tomorrow's Memory" is the story of a woman who loses her memory following an accident and, as her illusions become a reality, has to face the secret of her husband. I'm curious if said secret will be your run of the mill cheating deadbeat one, or something more sinister. My money is on the latter, as actor Park Sang-wook has been cast as a detective tasked with solving the mystery.

Kim Kang-woo ("The Item", "The Vanished", "My Husband Oh Jak-doo") plays the husband who is hiding the truth behind his wife's lost memories. He will be a nuanced, mysterious character keeping his secrets behind a facade of affection and walking a fine line between good and evil. The actor commented "When I looked at the scenario I thought that this is a rare and unconventional work. Since it's a genre that I've never done before, I also look forward to filming".

Seo Ye-ji ("Lawless Lawyer", "Remembering First Love", "Save Me") plays Soo-jin, the wife digging for traces of the hidden truth after her illusions become a reality. The actor will be tackling the demanding work of portraying Soo-jin's fear and confusion as the lines between reality and illusion become blurred. On her casting, she commented "I'm also looking forward to tackling a new role that I've never played before. I will do my best until the end in order to create a good work".

The movie's director, Seo Yoo-min, is already familiar to audiences as a screenwriter, having participated in films such as "April Snow", "Happiness" and "The Last Princess". The rarity of women directors makes this an even more important directorial debut, and I hope it goes well.

    Thank you @Peppyz

I love the review but one thing I really agree with is this:

"But I’m sad that the Deok-mi of earlier episodes, who was able to balance her fangirl life with a successful career, got so little exploration. I wanted to see her grapple with going from a fan of Shi-an to his future sister-in-law; I wanted her to at least consider using her amazing photography talent to transition to an actual artistic career. I can understand Deok-mi deciding that for her, curating art is how she fulfills her artistic vision, but I certainly wish her thought process and her inner life had been given more than a perfunctory acknowledgment."

I think that many of us HPL fans also wanted the drama to explore DM's talent as an artist which they were hinting in earlier episodes. In episode 5 at the writer's cabin where she started taking photos of Ryan and photographing Ryan at the fan meeting of Si An. When she talked about her interpretation of the photographer's "Anyeong Photograph", she spoke as an expert who was able to capture the mood or express beauty of whom or what she is photographing. They also hinted at it when Si An told Ryan that Si Na gil took the best photos of him. I wished that Ryan would have seen the photos of him taken by Deok Mi and just like how she looked at his paintings at the ending episodes with admiration and love I would have wanted to see Ryan see the photos taken by DM with an artist view, appreciation and love and encouragement. I am also a wee sad that they did not explore that. All in all it was a great rom com drama. I will always be a Ryan/Deok Mi fangirl.

Otherwise, I had lots of fun especially with the company of this forum. Thank you all.

they have some very entertaining clips...one put up one of him in some ?army skit

it was really strange but he acted like he was enamoured or fan worshipper of a fellow recruit...I still have no idea what that was despite googling...l

@mushforbrainsI believe she maybe alluding to the drama "Who Are You". He looks good in uniform does he not. In that drama he was the 2nd lead and he was thought to be dead and the story is about the mystery of his death. He was a police officer who was shot to death in the first ep because he was about to find out a cover up and  witnessed by his girlfriend who is recovering from the loss. His scenes are of the girlfriends flashbacks of their love affair. In that clip, I think it his character and his girlfriend had a dinner date after graduation from police academy? There was also lots of skinship in the drama (including forehead kiss} but not as much as HPL. He really rocks the uniform. I would like to see him in another well written police or spy drama.

I think that both KJW and PMY are actors who engender great chemistry with their co stars and them together becomes naturally reverent, tender and heart melting.

  9. I am not worried about any breakup. It is more about DM and her mom and her feelings of shame and guilt about her mom's actions towards Ryan which Ryan will not allow. For Ryan, it is more about understanding and healing his relationship with his mother. I do think he will understand why he was left at the orphanage door. Remembering that incident and facing it bravely will perhaps make him confront his fears, his sadness and even anger which could be his road to healing and forgiveness but it will never be about his newfound relationship with DM. He has found the foundation of his heart and hearth. Ryan, as we know him does not easily give up. Remember how he protected DM and SJ thinking that they were in a relationship? Here and now, it is his own relationship that we are talking about. He will protect that.

DM too, in the last episodes soothed, comforted and loved him through Ryan's emotional distress. Now it is Ryan's turn to reassure DM that his love is as deep and lasting as hers. How could anyone doubt and think of breakup??? I have faith in the two and I think EG, dimpled, handsome EG will be the brother to reassure and make DM understand about her mother's actions. He afterall had to deal with his emotions about what his mom had once thought of doing long ago but did not and he and DM talked about it. So, I see no breakup but healing of old misunderstandings between parents and children which in turn strengthens DM and Ryan's love.

I do hope Ryan has a scene where he communicates with his adoptive parents by text or email telling them about his new relationship and finding his mother. Not much just showing a communication with his adoptive parents.

    8. I LOVED THE LAST SCENE. Hear me out. Yes, it was not sexy or explicit or daring, but the the last scene was so much more emotionally intense than ep9-10 kiss. The first is something you do after being apart from your lover for too long and you need to feel them as much as you could, but this scene was something that tells you that they will be just as unbreakable for as long as they live.

The slow fall of her hair, him taking out the brush from her bun - it seemed to convey the union more beautifully than an actual explicit scene would. Think about it this way: bun signified DM was hiding things, and then she let her hair down when her identity was revealed. The fact that Ryan let it down himself, meaning she is allowing him to enter the guarded walls she has kept around herself as a woman at his free will/own initiative, after mutual declarations of love seems to convey intimacy of consummation without the need of an explicit bed scene.

@tensaitekikuronekoLove your post. I love the last scene too and I thought it was very sexy. First of all our gutsy heroine DM gives the "come hither" look to Ryan as she backs off smiling without losing eye contact to follow her as she was entering the studio/painting room and Ryan's face as well says, "baby I'll play" but when they were in the room Ryan's face changed. DM at this point did not know how Ryan would react if he would refuse her request yet DM was undaunted. She asked Ryan to draw her for her birthday gift, letting Ryan know that she had faith in him. She put up her hair and sat posing her silhouette on the canvas. After such a request from a beautiful woman whom he fell in love with and who courageously put her full faith in him, how could Ryan not comply? Kneeling on the floor he took the charcoal and slowly, carefully, inch by inch drew her until he was done. DM said, it is beautiful "Artist Ryan Gold". She gifted him with herself and he gifted her with his trust and gratirude. The unpinning of her hair by pulling the paintbrush holding the bun and her hair cascading down her back, was so sensuous. Like the way he drew her silhoutte would be the way he would love her.... slowly, deliberately and gloriously all of her and she responds in kind. The tear coming down her eyes as they declared their love. That scene for me is more stirring and touching. More than that would have ruined the mood of what they were trying to convey, the deepness of their feelings and connection. Then we see them spooning in slep

Couple sleeping positions and what they mean:

Spoons In A Drawer Means New Love

When you sleep closely linked with your partner, it means two things: y’all can’t get enough of each other… and it’s probably a brand new relationship. When running down couple sleeping positions and what they mean, this one is pretty self-explanatory: when someone is new and exciting, you want to show that you’re excited to be around them, hence the lack of space. It’s sort of a physical reassurance that you can’t get enough of that person. Though this position tends to change as relationships age, there’s nothing wrong with this being the beginning sleeping position for your new love. This position does tend to be a little uncomfortable, so if your sleeping suffers, make sure to change it up.

The Intertwining Lovers is a Sign of Intense Emotional Bonding

Typically this is after an emotionally positive encounter, sexy or otherwise. Both partners sleep on their sides, facing each other, locked in an embrace of arms and legs. This definitely doesn’t lead to optimal sleep, even on a good foam mattress like nectar, and is often the signal of a new relationship. Neither of you want to leave the other’s arms, which is great, but it can also lead to a lot of arms that have fallen asleep or waking up in the middle of the night.

If they had wanted to explore the issue of overseas adoption during that era, it would have been better to say that she had been forced by her family to give him up cos she was a single mother. No wonder Ryan himself had difficulty believing her too...

And speaking of husbands... Lee Seol's maiden name was Gong, according to the college yearbook. But RG was registered as Heo, so clearly, he got into his father's registry. And SiAn, if that is his real name, is Cha. So he's got a dad too. So what happened to her first husband? Died?

What I hope not to happen (as with all these dramas and the tropes they love) is that the discovery that it was DM's mum who left him at the orphanage and whose hand he remembersletting go of him,

@gilaswanI agree. I thought too that they would go the way of Lee Sol's family taking young Ryan for adoption to give Lee Sol a chance at having a better life being that single mothers were looked down on and descriminated at that time. It would make sense and would be more believable and understandable for Ryan. But leaving him alone in a playground then being taken in by DM's family and then left again at some unfamiliar place in the dark of night was very traumatic and being abandoned twice at that. No wonder his brain chose to forget what happened before adoption. He came to Korea looking for the paintings and thinking that if he finds all the nine paintings and find the painter that he will be able to paint again. He never mentioned any intention to find his mother. It was only recently after he had those dreams that woke him up at night that he admitted the woman whose face he can't remember might be his mother. I wish that the woman who left Ryan at the entrance of some building will be someone other than DM's mom or any mom we know in the drama.

I would like to know where Si An's dad is too. I never even heard Si An ask about his dad which any child would do when they meet mom who came to visit alone. Where is dad or what is dad doing? But Si An mentions a grandfather.

I was thinking today.. And I am not sure of this but would Editor mama be of some help when it comes to Lee Sol.. Since she’s been in the art industry for a long time..

@niniwu97 KUDOS for your post pages and pages ago.... you got this right.... Editor mama helped and she did know of Lee Sol and she was the one who gave info to DM who found a book wrtten about Lee Sol and the picture of Lee Sol. Thank you.

Am guessing: Si An stated that it was his grandfather who got rid of all nine paintings. Lee Sol was a young woman and a single mother. Since single moms were looked down on especially as marriage partners, it maybe possible that a relative of Lee Sol wanted to get rid of Yeon Jae without the mother knowing, so Lee Sol would have a better chance of marrying. According to Editor Nam, in college days, she heard of Lee Sol an upcoming new artist whose paintings were being shown and critiqued favorably and Editor Nam remembered those paintings. However, Lee Sol a single mother with a young son, was disfavored by the society she lived in and may have had no support financially either. So, a relative who wanted Lee Sol to marry well could have placed Yeon Jae in an orphanage without his mother knowing? Lee Sol said that she did not want to be Lee Sol because that woman could not protect those paintings that represented, Yeon Jae blowing bubbles while she was painting and the images inside the bubbles were what YJ liked doing when he was a kid biking etc. Whatever the reason for putting YJ in the orphanage, by her statement "I could not protect" and her obvious sorrow, I am assuming here that she did not know that her son was put up for adoption at an orphanage. She stopped painting because she hurt her hand in an accident? was unable to protect the painting then and it is fluky that YJ who is now Ryan stopped painting when he saw those paintings. He was diagnosed and thought that he had Stendhal Syndrome but through his dreams realized that it was not Stendhal but deeper personal connection and trauma of abandonment connected to that particular painting. Maybe mother and son can heal the other and both will start to paint again. She should be proud of both sons who are successful artists in the art field they chose.

On the other hand, EG's statement, when asked by DM if he were not curious about knowing about his father, who abandoned him and his mother says. "the question he says, is this person not curious about me?" Some indication of longing there too even if it were not a direct admission. He also told DM that he did not want to mention about his "absent father" because he did not want to "betray" his adoptive family who took good care of him. I love that the conversation between DM and EG has returned to their normal brother/sister relationship. I also like how the drama is sensitively bringing up these painful issues and feelings of the adopted children and their mothers and THE WOMAN DM who we know is not adopted, is used as the character to bring these issue up for a healing talk with the adopted children YJ and EG. GO DM.

KJW's performance very subtle changes in his body and face conveyed the emotions complicated as they are of how he feels. After he got his memories when he saw those paintings in NYC and his dreams, finally he sees the face then realizes he has a brother who is well loved by his mother.... but KJW .AMAZING...

Want to say something on the 2nd lead, NEG and CDI, actually this drama did a disservice to them, so unlikeable characters compared with rest of characters like SEon JOO, DM parents, Cindy etc. although these 2 characters have a one-sided feelings to the main lead, RG and DM, I hope the remaining episodes could make them to still support their friends, form like bromance between RG and EG, good friendship between DM and DI, a way to show that they still support their friends moving on without awkwardness.

I think they are not portrayed as not so unlikable as compared to 2nd leads in other dramas . They are being portrayed more realistically as 2 people who are in love with their best friends who are not in love with them and it hurts. What they did or are doing are not so bad as the other 2nd leads with unrequited love in other dramas. It is a protective reaction to not being able to get or be what they want to be, to the person they have loved for so long. And DI, except for that one instant of not telling the whole truth was self aware that she was pathetic and even embarassed. She actually has been professional in her dealings with Ryan. The last episode shows how she realizes that her longtime friendship with Ryan is more important than losing her friend.  EG is a bit stubborn however, the talk with mom, drunken talk with DI and DM's discomfort when encountering him, might make EG listen to Mom and DI and look somewhere else and wish his best friend the best. Di needs cheering up and she can go to the Dojo and watch very cute kids tumble themselves to the mat, how could she not cheer up? EG can help DI in her workshop make furniture or whatever. I think the drama gods have already started pairing them together. And I think curator Kyunga and Yeo Seop are going to become a couple as well. Hopefully SJ and SM will reconcile sweetly too.

I re-watched that go-stop game scene for thousand times. Go-stop game scene is really cute, warm, adorable. It makes me STS like crazy. And for Jaeuck, I still don't believe he can be so cute in here. I'm so proud to be his fan LOL! THIS GUY REALLY CAN ACT! If I'm not mistaken I read somewhere that used to be he never interested doing romcom. This time he changed his mind because he wants people watch him in light drama/project. I'm grateful that he joined Soop Ent in June 2017. This agency gives their talents opportunities to get any kind of project that they like.

@YearwoodCbelow is an interview of KJW after the drama Voice and what he says at the ending paragraph tells how and what projects he chooses and why he chooses them. He details the challenges he had in acting Mo Tae Gu and what films he studied to get the right interpretation of the character. He also refers at the end of the article about the movie that was done in Japan... I think he was referring to "Butterfly Sleep" a May-December affair much like the drama "Secret Love Affair" but instead of the pair being musicians, in "Butterfly Sleep" they were writers. The interview as a see it, shows how he really likes to portray interesting and challenging characters. I think you will like this interview as I did.

  14. I love how this drama made the secondary characters shine and gave merit to their stories. Mama Editor did her best by her son, working single mother whose friend baby sat for her and whose family became the extended family. I like how she was their to comfort her son's heartbreak but told him that he can move on and find someone to love. She feels guilty for working all the time and not having had the time to be with her son when he needed her. However, aside from EG falling in love and confessing too late to the woman he realized he had loved for so long, she did well by him.

Curator Kyunga surprised her coworkers when she told them that she volunteers on weekends at the orphanage and had everyone join her including Cindy and even the reluctant Director Gold. Kyunga took charge while in the orphanage and it was refreshing to see Ryan and Cindy get involved, one was reluctant to visit a place the reminds of memories he did not want to remember and the other a spoiled, self involved girl. No nonsense Kyunga and the children just had everyone into having fun.

Director Eom was hilarious in her entrance to meet with Ryan, as if she were a Joseon Queen and her secretary walking along holding her bag to confront Mister Gold. She wanted to halt Ryan's planned exhibit just to prove to Ryan who the owner of the Cheum Museum is and who is boss. Ryan did not even have to say a word because Cindy's emotional confrontation with mom saved the day. I love how everyone rallied around Cindy to give her a pat on the back. Good job Cindy.

The highlight to the episode though is the appearance of Si An's mom. We first see her standing at the front of the church and looking at a woman with her child walking. I wonder if it was by the church steps that Ryan was abandoned. So now we know from Ryan's talk with DM that he blocked memories from the time he was abandoned except for remembering a woman sitted on a stool painting with her back towards the young Ryan and the painting of the bubbles. He remembers calling "omma" and tapping the woman's back then his memories or his dreams of those memories end there. He could never remember the face. There is no preview, so the suspense and anticipation of what happens next is heightened. Lee Sol's paintings ended up in different parts of the world from USA to China and Korea and quite a coincidence or even maybe fated that the painting in NY happened to be found by Ryan which got him to stop painting and remember painful and fuzzy memories of his childhood and thus started his journey back to where his memory of the painting and the back of the woman whose face he can't recall began.

My bias for episod 11 is Deok Mi.... The lioness has roared....Go Deok Mi. I am loving her. DM shouts ...I am woman hear me roar!!!!....GGRRRRRRRR.

She has become the woman she was like in the first episodes when they were fake dating at the park where she was so open and caring of Ryan so naturally, before she developed feelings for Ryan, self assured open and more!!!  In this episode, she has taken charge. Just like her best friend  Sun Joo said, Deok Mi has grown up.  She has always been grown up but for that one time when she became unsure of herself and believed in someone else's words, but now she is back  to her stronger, courageous self and is totally in charge and with the help of Ryan's forbearing attitude. By calling DM Si Na Gil, Ryan reveals he knows what she is afraid of and she does not have to be, that they can talk. I love her split decision making, when she comes out of hiding from EG's back, how she grabbed Ryan's hand and said "let us go talk somewhere." I also like that she did not ignore her "brother", the man whom she knew was also concerned about her and reassures him, with "it is okay". The reveal of both their "secret identities" was nicely done as it became humurous  with Ryan making fun of what she wrote, "Si An's thighs are my welfare" and Ryan adding "his clavicle is also nice". I also like that DM was comfortable to start the making up session after the "fight" but got interrupted. SIGH....ARRGGHHH. I laugh at Ryan's being jealous of Si An even if he does not admit it, when he did not want Si An to know that noona curator is Si An's fan. He understands his woman's fangirling from afar, but not close up. It would be so fun to see "hyung" wanting to beat up poor Si An when SA realizes that noona is his fan and Ryan sees his girlfriend fangirling close up "our Si An" and SA loving it.

They don't talk about it, but they both know that DM has seen the secret room. Ryan does not say anything about how he feels but somehow he knows that DM supports him just because she does. She quietly holds his hands letting him know her presence when he is pensive and forlorn, does little things as buying them the drinks and showing him that she understands. Tells him gently that it is okay for them to get to know each other slowly, comfortably and honestly, and have fun  making new discoveries about each other. At night when Ryan woke up from the dream of his childhood abandonment, he cried and ran to DM, just to see her and reassure himself that she is real. He is far away from home (NY), far from the family who raised him, people he grew up with and is here in the country where he was abandoned as a child and he feels shaky. DM is a woman he has fallen in love with and the person whom he trusted to bear his soul and the one whom he runs to after a recurring hurtful dream of his abandonment. He tells her that it was enough that he checked on her and was going to leave after reassuring himself that she was there. But DM, lovely, perceptive DM knew this very vulnerable man, needed more than just to check on her, that somehow he was there because he was hurting silently. DM then ran after Ryan, hugged him tightly, calmly communicating her understanding and support. The self controlled Ryan broke down. I cried.

DM what a woman. She more than restored my faith in her .... and my fangirling of her!!! Go DM!!

Si An and Ryan must have known that they had brothers in the past and got separated. The way Si An pursues the person who  bought the other paintings and how he easily called Ryan "hyung" and talks about them meeting each other was fated, and now wants to talk informally.... to me seems like he suspects that Ryan could be more than just the painter/director who came from America. Ryan also inviting SA to eat chicken at his home seems to want to know more about this kid who is so interested in obtaining the nine paintings of Lee Sol and knows that there are nine paintings. Ryan's facial expression when SA demanded that Ryan orders boneless chicken and sits at the table as if it were his house was amused. There is one more painting left for them to find. I like how the dots are slowly being connected. Were they both adopted from an orphanage?

I am wondering if the person who abandoned Ryan in the streets was his mother. Does not the voice sound like a man? Anyway, we will know soon enough. If Ryan will be re united with family, I hope they include his adoptive mother from America. She did well by Ryan. She raised him well.

Madame Eom is a Director of the Cultural Arts Foundation. So, she carries some weight. Ryan maybe the golden boy of arts but he is a foreigner, and that is a disadvantage. Eom is determined to disallow the Lee Sol paintings which is the collection of the idol, her daughter is crazy about. I think for Ryan, including the Lee Sol paintings in the exhibit is a means to find the painter. But does he have to include the collection? What if he can find the painter without the collection being included in the exhibit? I want to see how Ryan and Si An will band together to get the Lee Sol paintings included in the exhibit or how they will find out about each other through the paintings and that is no longer important whether the collection is included or not because they will help the other find the painter?

As for Sun Joo and Seung Min, trust has been broken. Seung Min wanted to change his employment position inorder to please Sun Joo because his present position takes him away from home for many days and Sun Joo wanted her husband home more often. Seung Min wanted to write an article that could get him the position and that was about fangirling. Seung Min did not trust his wife enough to tell her what he was up to. I think if he was honest with Sun Joo that she may balk the first time but may see the importance of writing the subject matter of fangirling and even help him with the content of his article. That he will be able to define fangirling in a more positive way and explain the differences of fangirling and idol worshipping/fantasizing to the extent of getting depressed and stalking. That would have been a fantastic article. But Seung Min lying and stealing the contents from Si Na Gil blog including the pictures of her best friend being embraced by Ryan and writing and publishing that was crappy. Will he be able to reconcile with his wife?

I know a lot is being mesmerised by the hottest leading man right now so I thought I’d share a link I chanced upon in Twitter describing WHY is Ryan Gold sexy. I think it’s a good prelude to the next ep. :P Just a warning though that this is a bit of a mature read :sweatingbullets: so please click with caution (credit to the owner).

I have no idea what I just read here... I should have taken your warning seriously.  I didn't think it was possible to read about a character from a drama.  HAHAHAHAHA!  Now I can't get this image out of my head and this will be hard tmrw.  >_<

Whoa!!!! Geezzz... Ryan Gold what have you done.... let me see if it helps express this "lover of lovers" into a song Slow Hand...

It is not as explicitly "for matured audience" as the article but it expresses what a woman dream of and want...slow hand and eyes that deeply sees like Ryan Gold

Though it is a bit worrisome that Director Eom does expect to come back to the gallery eventually, and that Ryan's position might not be so secure.

@rabbiteenEom hired Ryan because he is the famed virtuoso artist who became a Museum Director from NYC. Her gallery would have closed or no one would have paid attention to it especially when her husband got in trouble because he was suspected to have built the "gallery/museum" to park illegally gotten money. First of all she is incompetent as a museum director, she was only getting by because of the help of Deok MI and her staff before she hired Ryan. After the interview with Mama Editor, Ryan got into the cover of the best art magazine in the country and made Mama Editor happy because the sales of her magazines went up, it also helped boost the reputation of Eom's gallery and got more visitors to the gallery. The idol SA went to visit which may have made it into the fansites. Ms Eom, will be so very stupid to try and get rid of Ryan at a very crucial time when his projected exhibit is highly anticipated by the public not only in SK but the rest of the artworld due to the interview. Ryan had invited and included foreign artists and collectors to contribute to the exhibit. She will become the most hated person in Korea if she ever fires Ryan. It will so backfire on her. Ryan on his reputation alone will survive without Eom but can Eom survive without Ryan, and will her husband survive if she creates a scandal? Whers is the lowest of dumb does she want to go? Imagine all the fans who will throw eggs on her if she dissed THE LION....
