Cue Yup Correct!! LR returned earlier as he had to deposit his ROK doppleganger to KOC and make it look as if the guards killed him. Maybe that and SJ being taken away happened between a month (baby LG had to mourn for 26 days +6 days passed for his recovery after that alleged LR's body was found on the lakeside).The exact timeline SJ waited for his mom is not shown from what I can recall.

It shouldn’t be that way. Faith should come before The King because then you can at least turn a blind eye to all its flaws lol. If you think The King lacks in any editing/directing/writing/pacing, you might not survive Faith lol. But let me tell you, Daejang is lmh’s best character and the imja couple has THE BEST relationship. You’ll love them to the point where it tugs your heart.
I live in a Moody World not in the mood for historical dramas before I grasp the actual cultural aspect to understand, Yea I saw LMH work in reverse manner or lets say Netflix India available Manner. It was Lotbs--Heirs--Bof--Lotbs---Personal Taste---Lotbs---KING---Lotbs---CityHunter---Lotbs---Faith.(Viki was discovered way later and I am clearly obsessed with one show of His :D) King lacks nothing IMO , it just added too many scenes which I alas could not fast forward.

The Wrong Move as per me A. I dont think LR had the resources or ability to make Baby SJ forget KOC , he Was always the Loophole in LR's swapping plan because Adults acted out of Greed but Kids wouldn't have. He Underestimated the Kid and his memories like @bebebisous33 keeps on saying. LR in hindsight may have forgotten about what if scenario and Obviously never would have though SJ to grow up and get twined in a quest ti unravel his Godly Deeds. SJ of all the people would be a loophole to stop him was not what he Really thought over. He does know he made a wrong move But A FATAL one Nope he did not consider that.

@vangsweetie637 Nope You are NOT lusty, had there been a lets say Different Storyline Couple , I would have said the same ( Why shy away from Skinship its soo Good), I get the feeling all the shippers have , it just doesnt fit the pallete for LeeEul per say in this story. (Not Wild yet for a bed scene), They are still finding a Way to Fight Fate and Worlds to Stay and See each other atleast which seems impossible as The very nature of Corea and Korea should not collide and yet here they are in Love (Old school Historic Feels). JTE felt so sad , even the plant's Seeds are not growing , neither in Korrea nor in the passage, it just heartbreaking for her in all senses.
@Heretorant I haven't seen Faith yet, plan to see once King finishes. I reserve LMH shows when I get bored of exploring other kdramas (most have the same old tangent), they are my Escape to drool over
@mychoiyoungmy understanding was that Hyung or Oppa could be denoted for someone other than a Brother as well in Korean Terms like a Senior who is close, I think the brother-sister interpretation is wrong here maybe for SJ-JTE

Haha...I like the Old Feels but Still I more onto the story as whole. If I were to deeply concentrate on the romance I would not enjoy any other character graph or storyline as whole ( eg :SJ I feel bad because of the Arc, if solely invested in romance I would have not appreciated him as the character).
That is my issue mostly but.I would be much more heartbtoken if JY were to betray the King or die saving the KING rather than LeeEul seperation .<<Sorry mehides>>
Romance binds the storyline well. But again here the couple did not create the story. The story as whole needs the couple. You know like in LOST , when I first saw it I only wanted to see Juliet and Sawyer they were the OTP and hated that Kate and Jack were only shown,when I grew up and rewatched it I understood the intricate web every relationship had, made the Story more as whole very Oh no Man remembering worthy)
I knew a LOTBS or Lets say GOBLIN were more of the Couple Love story based interwind with Fate so I was all Lala on the Couples itself for most of the part.
Here its more LG's World being destroyed and him.being FORCED to grow up when it was his chance to be a kid who hated Beans and Spinach not someone yet to BEAR the Weight of the Crown(Funny Since Heirs KES initial plot seemed KimTan had to bear the weight ooo). He was robbed of a lot of things when he needed them the most. JTE's loss will just propel him like a Rocket to make LR pay for his Sins in that.
The Noodle just got more Crispier to make the Sauce Tastier in short.

It's a video clip from future , most probably from ROK (Since the Bookstore does not exist in KOC), Noe Yoyo-Fate Boy showed / gave LG a Pretty Big incentive to search/ realize more about the Powers of Flute and Sword to restore balance and also foreshadowing that this Time (Future or Past ) may be related to JTE.

The entire Episode was Crispy as the Chicken they show in Every episode, the only confusion I had was when Sj came to Hotel Room(I though they would have played Hotties Fighting scene again), they cut to the Flash-back and came straight to him Calling LG lunatic.
And also Wait! SJ says to the gangster in the hotel/club while drinking that JTE considers him as her Brother (Say Whatt!!!), I though he had romantic feelings for her, or did Netflix translate it weirdly?Aishh...

OMG yes that scene! Thank you! I felt that scene had to be important since we don't get to see much of LG's flashback scenes. Also the king passing the sword down to his son makes the sword feel much more important. He didn't pass down the flute. We were also getting so many King Arthur hints. I can't wait to read your analysis on this.
@Joanna Alfson Yupp she does seem entitled. She is good at her job though but that doesn't mean LG has to like her back just cause she wants him.
PM Koo AT LAST has some form of Useful scene (getting to investigate the whereabouts of Traitors Men from 25 years ago). She is all direct no nonsense , I like that.
WDH-WDH; WDH-LG are the Best combo here. Even Jo-Yeong misses Eun-SOP or atleast Feels bad, being The Guard to King is not easy. Even KING doesn't know half the things JY knows.Eun-SOP was about to lose it pulling an allnighter when LG-PM Koo were discussing country affairs. ANd I Love it when he was observing the two as if he is watching a intense Drama Movie
The point of Suspicion. LG said JY in worst case scenario would be the only one who could kill LR in ROK, means JY does know who LR is. (The only benefit of doubt I give him is that he expects LG to return and give him a picture as reference as he also thinks LR is now a 70 yr old Man not 55 anymore).
Also I will rather have a Heartlfelt Tight Hug than any Passionate Kiss/Bed Scene at this point. This couple is very Old school Feel Feels which is so Good. I mean I have seen LMH in skinships and hot kisses, Hugs were not that sincere in either of the shows I saw.Let them do a Proper Courtship .

Media for this show feels like a Vamp who says that the Heroine is not worth 2 cents but always has to poke nose how the heroine spends the day. Eeeshh

Luna cannot steal the ID she was released from Prison after JTE came to KOC and even after she left KOC, Also not everyone in the Palace knows that JTE is Safe option or close to King to get access to Palace that easily, most probably Tea lady stole the ID (SJ original Mom) placed it in the library and LR got hold of it.
LR may come to know or already knows that JTE and LG are close, so Luna will be used accordingly.

Thank You, I also thought because of TKEM pace it may be another LOST in the making, which uptil now it actually is. But it's LOST with number 8 in episodes rather than seasons which is sad because this storyline could very well be multiverse exploration in K dramas if only people gave their 2 cents to understand it better.
@bebebisous33 Thanks for the YOYO Kid explanation, I also keep on saying he is FATE although here he is a kid whereas in Goblin it was a Teen/Grandma.
All the release and explanations about how the KISS in episode 9 is going to be this and that, then they show a 2-4 sec peck and they get criticism, who is this PR team? I have no hopes of any proper KISS maybe we will get one around episode 12-15 but before that nope.(Trend Analysis of K drama )

If the time loop theory is correct, then the two saviors at the beginning might’ve been:- Tae-ul or Shin-jae on the First Attempt (we will call this Timeline

For this to happen though, there should be three set of characters / three different timelines.
On Timeline A, Lee Gon died and this affected the first savior in some ways, which is what prompted him/her to go back in time and save LG.

He is clueless on who his savior was and have zero clue on where to start (there was no ID to guide him) but he somehow manages to cross paths with TE and in the process, he falls in love with her. Which then leads us to Timeline C, the Current timeline, where he once again falls in love with TE. But with much more depth because they've already met in the previous timeline.
I really hope something similar will happen in TKEM, although this is a very complicated theory as it will involve multiple timelines when there's already a parallel universe involved.

But..
Looking at the general Local Response and already too simply complicated theory to understand I do not Think KES and her bandwagon will try to approach the Multiverse and or 2 Timeline LG saving himself too ambitious and botchering for 8 episodes.
My cents Timeline A never happened. Timeline B and C is what took place looking at current scenario.Attempting Timeline A would be giving JTE and SJ the Flute and Sword's power.
If people can cross the worlds only with the flute possesion then the TimeTurning power of flute and sword can be weilded by its TRUE CALLER /Owner who can HEAR the Flute , at this point its only LG or LR.

KING is way more creative and Analyzed plot with multiple folklores and facts than any other shows mainly kdramas that have seen. Writing or lets say the basic Concept is awsome albiet Long.
I for one dont need to rely on OTP for it to progress. I dont even remember it being a romance drama when the FIRST Trailer aired with all the NUMBERS and Time Turner watch. Its from the Press Con this started being promoted as a romantic show which clearly the preproduced part was not?
I grasped onto it for HP feels and LMH , so OTP only servers like a noodle in sauce for me atleast because that's what I thought the story would be. I wanted the sauce to be intresting, noodle being soggy would have been a disaster, for me its Noodle (OTP) is ok so its a GREAT watch while I figure what makes the content of this sauce this intresting.
(Moreover I love that JTE calls out on LG being too Cheesy , His dialoges are cheesy Eh!)But again without Noodles Sauce wouldn't be appreciated alas!
(I have watched LOTBS five times on different platforms and without subs, there is this subtle expressions and longing from OTP which just cannot be missed.And LMH's variant expressions till date which I love :D)
Goblin, I think the king is still more fascinating but goblin was much better produced in every way! Goblin was directed and edited on another level! While most of it was quite slow to me, the execution was far better.
What you said here is so true @Heretorant Goblin's storyline had like little to not Ah Shucks Moments (Soilder killed wrongly by King. Soilder becomes Goblin King becomes Grim Reaper,Goblin finds the bride , Goblin and GR are bff,Goblin in Freaking episode 13 finds the Evil soul, GR and Goblin kill him, Goblin dies returns, bride dies after 110 yrs Goblin and Bride reunite,the end)The show was fascinating because of development and execution it was like on some other level. KING has double the material but why is it on such a DARKER undertone in both the worlds is beyond me. Like I mean a reviewer said maybe the color pallete could have been better or different to make it distinguiable at certain points.
Get someone from Goblin's team for execution :(. Honestly the visuals of first episode and 4th episode end were the Best yet. ( And Hotties fight scene :D)

I agree, Heirs was so badly written and until this day, I am bitter towards Writer Kim. The King may not be perfect in so many ways but it is far better than Heirs in every way. It’s a pity the directing and editing is off because it could have been so great! Regardless, I’m still enjoying it and will probably walk away liking the drama a lot. On the other hand, Heirs was a drama I watched to support lmh but walked away never wanting to watch it again.
Yabadabadoo... I have my eyes on Hottie 1(JY) :D...the pulse checker in previous Era's Conman stole my heart(JoonJae), Pulse Saviour can be JTE or yours no problemo...
Heirs was fine...I mean it meant to be somewhat like US shows making no sense at times (Romance Drama ala Gossip Girls or One Tree Hill)..Kim Tan and Kim Won storyline ( The one who wears the crown bears the Crown) made me stick to it and ofcourse the entire ensemble cast.(Marvellous, who is not known now amongst them anymore?)..
Again as I said before Kim Tan was a Rapunzel so is LG in some sense (He knows He is a King, He was born into the JoB he did not chose, but yet he is not fully contempt). Even if DOTS and Heirs was badly written , The local audience loved it because they were no brainer and made someone Pine something hence the emotional connection. (IMO LOTBS was far far better ). This one needs Brain, and unless In depth analysis is done for LeeEul couple no one feels the pining ( The irritating fact that this is 16 episodes led even the writer to cut short some scenes which led to non attachment to main OTP imo). Again people loose plot because they zoneout and cleaely lack patience to understand the storyline , that is what made them miss this show's uniqueness.
Writing for TKEM ain't bad at all, it just that what I assume TV watchers may prefer a Mills and Boon instead of Cecila Ahern meets Sydney Sheldon novel is what is happening here.

@DramafreakLG's shoes are different in episode 8 when Hottie 1 and Hottie 2 are fighting. (JY and SJ) than the pair of shoes in episode 1. For me the pre-spoiler giveaway was the loose style of Jacket LG was wearing which was similar to the Pulse checker Savior in Episode 1.

This ^^ , after looking at spoiler Pics and a Hypothesis of something happening to JTE. The ID was with LG due to that. Now Fate played a role in making sure that ID reached baby LG to restart the loop.(Wherein the First time viewing of story without recent spoiler revelation stands that Adult LG has no idea the ID was grabbed by baby LG when baby LG was reaching out to him).

It shouldn’t be that way. Faith should come before The King because then you can at least turn a blind eye to all its flaws lol. If you think The King lacks in any editing/directing/writing/pacing, you might not survive Faith lol. But let me tell you, Daejang is lmh’s best character and the imja couple has THE BEST relationship. You’ll love them to the point where it tugs your heart.

I initially thought LH is LR and vice-versa during initial press release. Then saw that casting for this show is Genius. Baby LG and Adult LG have very similar expressions which I love. and LR LH and LG look quite similar in terms of makeup. (Had LMH maintained his earlier Chisled looked, it would not have matched that much, he has some fat now which makes it look more legible, I love that :D)
