JTE trying to call LG, 17 times when she was in Seoul station, then her 17 rules to LG? Why 17 when LG has only 2. It's such a random number What's so special about 17? Did you see any hints about this on the previous episodes? Do you think this will be significant in the future? Or maybe it's just KES favorite number? Haha
And I thought this show only focused on 0-1 and euler's number, here we also have The twin flame number 17
( Like Goblin had number 9), maybe the significance is not spiritual related more scientific maybe?

My stance on LG not getting fleshed out , I think he is enough fleshed out but to have a blueprint for his character as traumatized KING is wrong in the aspect that he is not a normal person. He is the KING he had to overcome his traumas to server his Country. That always comes first and should.! Other than being a King with open adoration for JTE, getting mad at JY and loving him as a brother equally , also having a weird fascination with Chicken (At this point chicken is also a main character), his layers or trauma can only been shown when he deals with the murderers (Notice his hand clutching his FluteStick to kill the restaurant owner guy in episode 8, when he Himself wants to kill him, but because of Him being a KING he orders him to commit suicide and even stops JY who is fully in tune with his Pyeha's emotions and wanted to kill that guy)
LMH not getting screen time or more fleshed out part, Character Ji-Hun may be able to able to do so, but if Ji-Hun is also a criminal , then LMH and KGE character opposite will be very similar, I am not sure if the writer wrote both Luna and Ji-Hun a street criminal? The acting chops can be freely expressed there I believe.
Similarly assuming JY and ES were swapped just because JY has a hardcore shell instead of the babbling 4 year old whom King LG met is wrong because as a Royal Guard you cannot be all bubbly and mischievous. Although HE does seem cheeky around Nari (Totally pulled a KIM TAN on her and I love that) at places and we can see him being all mad at ES in the little interaction they have about Nari in episode 8 ( throwback to when baby JY shouted at LG stating IS THE WHOLE PALACE Yours?)
Shin-Jae is the second lead unfortunately not JY atleast in the first half that is why his background story is focused more, the only complaint it irks a lot of because LG is not so let's say traumatically explored more or is as mysterious background story like his. For eg, if LG and Ji-Hun were swapped like SJ it could have had more impact for those who do not find SJ that important, then this story would have been Prince and Pauper rather than a TKEM. But stating all that TKEM does not have King being swapped initially does not make sense with the storyline. So its Ok.
Less Confusion, more tagline needed in the show, had the creators placed a Tag below stating KOC and ROK when scene swaps , GP would have understood it more maybe, maybe not. After Finale they could make it a 2 hour movie with taglines and doppelganger 1/2 info with tags below to make it more understandable, this story is a GEM TBH.
I don't mind less romance, because I don't feel the pull here yet. Time Loop may make me feel this because as prominent it is for me in LG's character graph that he misses his father and retrained himself to be the king the instant he saw his father being dead , its just not the same with TE separation yet. That is not so say about chemistry or storyline, I just don't get the tragic pull I had with Grimreaper Sunny in Goblin or maybe a Joon-Jae Shim Chung in LOTBS. EVERY Actor is so daymn amazing here , hats off for pulling even the minute gestures f the characters. They just breathe life onto them.
( I find that with KES, I don't feel much connect with main OTP but I always feel pull with the second leads, this has happened in atleast 3 shows , so that is just me maybe, she weaves the STORY so beautifully though OTP goes with the story's flow unlike PJE wherein story is cliche and not out of the box but OTP love-story is the only reason which makes me hang on to it again have experience with her around 3 series. )
Hoping to see till end of 16 for TKEM without any interruptions despite rating and all that jazz.Fingers Crossed.

I feel, LR being interoggated is after he kills LH in year 94-95 and but due to Time travel/loop he reaches in the year 2019/2020 and gets caught by JTE and Shin Jae. Its Korea or Corea that is what I need to reunderstand.

Mirror of Erised in the actual sense of its name, opposite of Desire. in Harry Potter this mirror shows what a Person desired the most. But in TKEM (except the pregnant lady , I don't remember a mirror falling and also the people see each other in Mirror when someone crosses over the portal right?) they see what ONE DOES NOT Want or DESIRE.
1. JTE does not want to look beaten like LUNA DID.
2. PM Koo does not want to be a simpleton, she wants to be the QUEEN
3. SJ wants to live, He saw a blood spilled ala death
4. KOC and ROK should never be ++ or -- , they are different side to same coin , hence do not desire to be the other.Republic and Monarchy.

Somehow that connects with the fact that the TEA Lady was working in the Kingdom from a long time maybe even during Lee Ho's assassination. SJ and LG knew each other since they were kids due to Tea Lady working in the Palace and them being the same age. LR Just got lucky here.

Personally, an 8-year old child can only handle so much. He could've been brainwashed traumatized or conditioned to think that he was seriously sick and recovered. How he handles the truth now is something we need to watch out for.
I am not sure the Korean parents know about the Switch. SJ's ROK mother does say , that he was no less than a miracle for her after being in coma for a year.

WDH bow down, awesome portrayal, and I love that now we can see JY showing some layers to his characters with more scenes and dialogues.

I for one do not mind the subtlety of their romance or JTE saying Love you to LG. This storyline does not need multiple skinship or too much kissing. One EPIC Deep kiss would do. This ain't in your face romance, more like Oops we are anyhow doomed but we still love each other romance.Nicely done scene.

I was dancing like Eun-Sop when atlast the Theories paid off, HE IS FROM KOC !!! He knows and listens to every word JTE says. Do-not give me second lead syndrome here please , already enough heartbreak is in store.

The thing is I am not sure but LMH modulated his voice tone here right? It has more Gravitas as King and the places where he has to act like he is suprised or ridiculed by JY's act, he does it with such umm Grace..." I am your KING"...Wow!!!
JTE calls out on LG being cheesy and self absorbed at places is Pure Gold, simply implying you may be the KING of Corea, I am still more sensible and can beat you when needed.
What is happening with Ji-Hun? His mother says the cover will be blown up while she follows SJ to Police station wondering if he is his friend?. She wants to kil herself LR doesn't want to let her, someone is in definite HIDING.Also if someone else can re-translate the scene with Ji-Hun's mom in car would be great.
The Yo-Yo guy as stated by someone earlier is GOD/Fate, ala Deok-HWA in Goblin. He will restore the balance and is foretelling something.
Q. Doctor Prince's family frame was re-focussed, who is the dopple-ganger to focus on here?
Q. PM's secretary the lady who got the newspaper today, does she have significance as well?
Q. LR how do you not age/ stop time and who will figure time reversal first. I am curious.

@Dramafreak Just rewinded back, The KOC kids sitting at PM Koo's shop are not the same Jo Twins from ROK.If somehow the actors were replaced later on then this could hold true. Right now no Jo twins with are there in KOC.

@Dramafreak mainly maybe because the Show looks more like chapters from a book hence the crisp execution for romance point of view atleast. If this show ends up gettung further season on Netflix itself then there maybe was a strategic reson for this tyoe of execution. Again a huge maybe.
@bebebisous33 Oo got your point now. To rethink ADULT SJ woke up in suprise wherein he saw a dream of KID named Shin Jae was lying sick in hospital , meaning the ADULT SJ is not SJ but has some other name? And was touted as SJ after the switch in ROK. This keeps on gettung convulated. Methinks SJ has a much more complex storyline than LG right now.

LG tells JTE that you asked me to follow 17 conditions but I only have 2 for you.
1. Don't ask me to leave as you please.
2. Don't ask me to stay as you please.
LG being so open with his affection and visibly falling in Love with JTE for him to quote this condition is very profound since he does know there is a possobilty in near future they were never meet or can never be together. We can see it as a hint because in episode 7 he realises that by chasing JTE , she ultimately developed feelings for him BUT because LR is alive and he has already started creating chaos, JTE's life is in danger because of their developing closeness.
And Also he does confess to JY that LR has been upto something and if the BAMBOO forest PORTAL between 0-1 is not closed ( he also thinks it during one scene either when the time stopped when he was with JY or when Luna made him listen to news recording from KOC) neither JY nor LG will exist in either of the worlds.
LG has decided to close the portal else LR will destroy the worlds but for one he cannot let go of JTE as of now.But asks her to not dissolve his decision when the ACTUAL TIME COMES FOR HIM TO LEAVE because of the Love they have for each other. Hence the Deep meaning.
@briseis So TRUE About Jo Yeong, Eun Soeb is just fasinated with his King Arthur but for JY , His Pyeha is his family and Brother and best friend , obviously his Pyhea being fascinated with a Girl on top of being endagered in both world is already making him restless , to top it off now he has his doppleganger with whom HIS Pyeha though although not close but taken liking to because of the familiarity. He was so so happy when LG realized he is breaking JY 's trust with the unbreakable sword and refused EUNSOP the citizenship.

@bebebisous33 I'd like to differ here in some respect. SJ was the sicker one and LR killed the original ROK doppleganger of SJ instead of Ji Hun(LG's doppleganger) and sent ROK SJ's mother in KOC as Tea lady. Ji Hun is alive and Ji Hun's mother in ROK is being played due to that. SJ as a kid knew Ji Hun that's why he recognized the face from the place he visits today.
Point being either of the doppleganger doesnt exist maybe SJ or LG, But that needs to be seen.
My 2 bets on SJ does not have a doppleganger as he is no more or was never born?(Why I say this cuz, if the family architecture is same then in KOC there is no twin sibling for JY but for Eunsop in ROK there are)
I have no issue with either Chronolgy,I understood both the points at one go. I for one played the Hatter in my school theatre so love Alice in Wonderland and did point out initially TKEM and Luna bearing resemblance with Looking through the glass as per someone theory. As I said before TKEM Fine Wine not everyone's cup of Tea.I for one love this Tea.

I think I am of the very few people who does not get Confused watchng this show in terms of dialoges , but yes I do need reference to dopplegangers. The thing is in most if not all the K dramas I see the next episode does not really kick start from the point where they left it on last episode, it has some builduo then they get to the actual point in next episode.
The show editing is being questioned because editors are getting confused in what kind of chronology will it please the audience.
Back in Episode 4-5 when episode 4 ended with JTE and LG crossing the Pasagge and episode 5 started on the point where they landed in KOC and were travelling to the Palace , in the middle they showed what JTE and LG saw in the passage. People Cried that THIS IS BAD EDITING and Critized of it NOT being builtup or chronologically displayed. it should have started with ROK LG and JTE crossing the bamboo forest---The No wind no water Passage where time stops---KOC.
Now in episode 6-7 , IT was shown chronologically, Episode 6 ended in the Hug---- episode 7 shows what happened in ROK while KING was fighting for KOC and what else did our Heroine did except missing the KING---( I am sure had this been not shown, JTE would have been criticized for being turned into a crying weak bubble over missing a King who just acts creepy at times in normal people words with her by some people)---This scene was necessary as after ROK person was murdered the 2 people associated with the Lady were shown close contact with KING which can lead to treasury, had this been shown in middle People would definately would have not understood it or the motive.---Then we saw the KING going to stable getting Maximus and crossing the PASSAGE with JY, and then The Epic HUG scene.
Shown Like Epiphany...Editing storyline Criticized . Shown Chronologically, Boring start being criticized. Its Just that this show cannot be understood while doing daily chores or not understanding the basic gist otherwise It will confuse. kinda like a math equation (a + b)2 =a2 + 2ab + b2
and below Both are same just 2ab comes before or after confuses people leading them to render it boring or intresting ...
(a + b)2 = a2 + b2 + 2ab
This is not to say everyone should Love this story, but This is Not everyone's cup of Tea these Genres are Not. I do not love a Mystery Thriller that easily similarly My Friend does not like a sappy romance. To get a 20%+ people intrested in a story as complexly simple as this needs everyone to use their brains beyond the normal Detective shows, you kill you find clues and you chase you win.They have a different set of audience, for me Writer needs to stick to her original storyline and not succumb under chronological or not chronological sequences, anyhow this will be dissatifactory in some aspect no matter what they do.I am still loving it as it gives me somewhat Adult Harry Potter Nostaglia with Time Travel mixed properly with KES and LMH.KES weaves an overall story which is beyond the OTP that is her forte. I am invested in the Story as a whole, and not every writes makes someone get invested in side characters other than OTP. Here We get a SHIN JAE who is sad because of no companionship, we have a JY who is sad because of commitment to the very companionship. To actually get us audience discussing with a passion is in itself an achievement.

What I understood in terms of Kdramas. in ROK the Father and Son in question has a company which is a big corporate in SK ( kinda like what Kim Tan's father in Heirs was) , the Son in ROK wants to Inherit and Run the company which might not be what his original ROK Father wants yet or never will. SOn wanted the hold of comapny and wanted to get rid of the father somewhw..at that time Self proclaimed God LR appeared and offered to help him.
Son in ROK knows his father has been replaced by a doppleganger. ANd LR helps him, the doppleganger was one of the few men originally from KOC who followed LR and still salutes him ( here the role reversal /mirror is diff so The KOC one is poor and ROK is rich ). The SON in ROK knows that doppleganger treats LR as God whereas the son only sees him as some sort of gangster helping him thus he badmouths him which clearly angers LR and LR preplanned to replace ROK son with his KOC dopplenganger. So when the ROK son made him mad, he asked the Oroginal son of KOC Doppleganger to come forward and carry on his plan to overtake the company from background.
LR wants to rule both the worlds in short.

Isn't Kid Shin-Jae shown a different Kid than Ji-Hun in both episode 4(family frame maybe) and episode 7(and today's nightmare)...The aesthetics / continuity of storyline will get convulated if LG in ROK ie Lee Ji-Hun is shown as Present Day ROK Korea.

WDH is such a FANTASTIC ACTOR, and Yes Eun-Sop is lovely but the Chemistry between WDH and WDH is Wonderful, if that's even possible? I will give them the bromance award.
I like his transition between 2 characters stating LG as pyeha, once is disappointed and angry/jealous, one is all boastful without knowing the actual intention of being the Unbreakable sword.

I realized this one thing, LG did not experience any Time Stop earlier for like 25 years because he never crossed the 0-1 passage , when he started doing it then only he could experience the rule/time stop. The amount of chaos and imbalance in both the worlds need a entire time travel back to Close the Portal when LR actually opened it 25 years back. We were never shown how LR found the passage did we? #Jogging memory
