Taecyeon looks for the hidden culprit in tvN’s Blind

by tccolb

blintt1.jpg

tvN’s crime-thriller Blind has dropped two new video teasers, revealing a little more about the conflict to come for our story’s main trio.

Taking a closer look at society’s divide which continues to make victims out of ordinary citizens while the more powerful sit idly by, the drama has Taecyeon (Secret Royal Inspector and Joy) in the role of Ryu Sung-joon. As a stubborn but passionate police detective, his ultimate goal is to ensure that the bad guys are caught and put behind bars where they belong.

Older brother Ryu Sung-hoon – played by Ha Suk-jin (A DeadbEAT’s Meal) – is less hotheaded but just as principled and strives to be an impartial judge. Jung Eun-ji (Work Later, Drink Now), on the other hand, plays a social worker named Jo Eun-ki, whose priority is to help people and try to make a difference in the world.

The first teaser begins with Detective Sung-joon thinking that something doesn’t add up and his clues point to the jury. With a quick cutaway to Social Worker Jo as well as the jury group, the intermittent text screens read: “There is a monster among the nine jurors.” As Judge Sung-hoon announces that he will take responsibility for his case, the video closes on our detective who discovers that the culprit is someone in the courtroom.

There’s not a lot to go by in the second teaser, but we get plenty of suspenseful music as we flash through a sequence of our main trio facing trouble. The captions indicate that Blind is a “Friday-Saturday drama, airing every week at 10:40pm starting September 16.” This is then repeated by our detective in voiceover as the video comes to a close.

With PD Shin Yong-hwi (Voice 4, Tunnel) at the helm and scripts by Kwon Ki-young (Andante), tvN’s crime-thriller Blind premieres next month on September 16.

2PM’s Taecyeon plays Ryu Sung Joon, a violent crimes detective who is hell bent on catching criminals. He’s always willing to go undercover, and due to his determination, his arrest rate is among the top. Because of his excessive motivation, he’s sometimes mistaken as a thug.

The new teaser opens up with Ryu Sung Joon chasing the unique signature left by a serial killer. He doesn’t hesitate to search for evidence, and he even gets into a physical brawl with someone. He’s not the only one who’s passionate about finding the truth though. His older brother Ryu Sung Hoon is just as earnest to find the murderer, and he shows his determination with the cold words, “I’ll catch the real criminal who ruined my trial with my hands. Even if that means it’s you.”

Ryu Sung Joon yells, “This is all a misunderstanding!” While Ryu Sung Joon is being suspected, there’s one person who trusts him, and it’s none other than Jo Eun Ki.

Ryu Sung Hoon states, “The suspect is playing a game right now,” and Ryu Sung Joon expresses his great desire to catch the culprit. Jo Eun Ki wisely says, “That way, we can reveal the truth that no one else has ever seen.”

The three characters have different perspectives when it comes to the case. Ryu Sung Joon focuses on the hidden case, whereas Ryu Sung Hoon concentrates on the hidden truth. On the other hand, Jo Eun Ki wants to find the hidden person. It will be intriguing to see how they will join hands and use their own strengths to solve the mystery.

Watch: Taecyeon, Jung Eun Ji, And Ha Seok Jin Go Up Against A Dangerous Murderer In Eerie “Blind” Teaser

“Blind” has released an intense main teaser!

tvN’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Blind” is a mystery thriller that depicts the story of people who have unfairly become victims because they are ordinary and perpetrators who have closed their eyes to the uncomfortable truths. The story centers around detectives, judges, law school students, and jurors.

2PM’s Taecyeon plays Ryu Sung Joon, a violent crimes detective who is hell bent on catching criminals. Ha Seok Jin takes on the role of Ryu Sung Joon’s older brother Ryu Sung Hoon who is also a perfectionist judge. Apink’s Jung Eun Ji stars as the social worker Jo Eun Ki.

The intense teaser begins with Ryu Sung Joon sitting alone in a dark room as he warns, “A crazy dog is coming.” His comment overlaps with a scary scene of a woman getting dragged along the ground in the dark, previewing the start of a horrific serial killer case. The caption then reads, “A forgotten memory,” leaving viewers curious about who this “crazy dog” is that Ryu Sung Joon is referring to.

As the case continues, someone asks judge Ryu Sung Hoon, “Do you not trust your younger brother?” He coldly responds, “I do not trust anyone.” As even the two brothers are unable to trust each other, anticipation is rising to see how they’re both connected to the case and how they will be able to investigate together.

Also involved in the serial case is social worker Jo Eun Ki, as well as nine jurors. Although this group believes they’re solving the matter, the caption intriguingly states, “The real murder starts after the trial ends.” As if preparing to cast a spell on the jurors, the murderer eerily lines up dolls along with pictures of each juror.

Despite the obvious danger they are in, Jo Eun Ki actively dives into the case as she follows Ryu Sung Joon and comments, “I’ll help you with anything I’m able to do.” With Jo Eun Ki, Ryu Sung Joon, and Ryu Sung Hoon all having separate reasons for why they must catch the criminal, they are all equally determined to make sure the murderer is punished.

Check out the teaser below!

'Blind' Jung Eun-ji, invited to the jury in the death trial?! First stills of 24 hours released!

image_readtop_2022_748627_16613193305146

The 24 hours of Eun-ji Jung, a human-first social worker who was invited to the trial of death, was captured.

In tvN's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Blind' (written by Kwon Ki-kyung, directed by Shin Yong-hwi), the first stills of actress Jung Eun-ji, who plays the role of Jo Eun-gi, a social worker who chases people who are hidden under the incident, are being released, raising interest in the character.

Jo Eun-gi, played by Jung Eun-ji in the play, is a social worker with a bold personality who is not surprised or shocked by anything because she has gone through everything before childbirth. He always puts people first and strives to be an infinitely reliable guardian for the children of the facility. Jo Eun-gi, who reported embezzlement of donations to each center where he stayed with a strong sense of justice, is being branded as a “progobaler” and is moving around.

In the midst of this, one day, a notice from a jury for her citizen participation comes to her. Jo Eun-ki is a jury member in a murder case involving Ryu Seong-joon (Ok Taecyeon) and Ryu Seong-hoon (Ha Seok-jin), but after a trial to determine the real culprit in the murder, a series of serial murders against the jury occur again. As she loses, the shadow of death begins to fall on her as well. In response, Jo Eun-gi works with Ryu Seong-jun and Ryu Seong-hoon to find the truth behind her jury serial murder case.

In the published photo, the day of the human-first social worker Jo Eun-gi is captured, drawing attention. The whole time she sits inside the courtroom she looks so detached that it's unbelievable that she's been invited to a death trial, she feels her audacity to not be surprised by any situation.

On the other hand, apart from being involved in her death trial, she still has children to protect. Her seriousness is reflected in her eyes of her Jo Eun-gi, who answers her phone while walking her way, making her guess that her unexpected unexpected situation has occurred.

Here, even in the dark of night, she catches her eye as she searches for her child in a flashing nightlife district. Her earnestness can be seen in her face of Eun-gi Jo, who is holding her someone's hand and repeatedly persuading her. As she takes care of all of her children in her center with her affection, Jo Eun-gi wonders if she can survive the trial of her death to the end and become a reliable protector.

The production team of tvN's 'Blind' said, "Actress Jung Eun-ji's solidity will meet the character Jo Eun-gi, full of justice, and show perfect synergy." Please look forward to the transformation.”
