Zhu Yi Long's Movie:  "Lighting Up The Stars"  Is Selling 500 Million In 7 Days

 

The Box Office continues to rise on Weekdays.  Zhu Yi Long's "Lighting Up The Stars"  exploded !!

 

"Lighting Up The Stars" was released on Friday, 24 June 2022 with a Box Office of 41.32 Million Yuan on the First Day, an Attendance Rate of 11.8%, and an Average of 16 people per game.

 

On the Second and Third Day, that is on Saturday and Sunday, the single-day box office received 83.94 Million Yuan and 89.42 Million Yuan respectively.  And the Attendance Rate was 10.8% and 11.2% respectively

 

 

 

 

What was surprising was the performance of the Workdays after the Weekend.  For ordinary films, after the first weekend, the box office of the five-day weekdays will continue to drop.

 

After the box office of "Lighting Up The Stars" fell by 35.6% on Monday, it continued to rise from Tuesday to Thursday, and the attendance rate also increased day by day.  By Thursday, the single-day box office reached about 67 Million Yuan, and the attendance rate reached 9.6%.  The average number of people per game is 14 - which is very strong.

Originally, the director wanted to find a handsome actor with good "Eye Skills" to play the role of Mo San Mei.  His first consideration was the famous Hong Kong Actor - Tony Leung Chao Wei.

 

With Tony Leung, they should be able to "get twice the result with half the efforts".

 

But the itinerary of Tony Leung is not something that can be arranged casually.  Worse is, his wife Carina Lau directly rejected the offer on his behalf.  And the director's filming budget is a bit limited for such a Big Star.

 

So he turned to Zhu Yi Long.  Afterall, when Zhu Yi Long first exploded some time back, there were a lot of remarks that Zhu Yi Long resembles Tony Leung.

Zhu Yi Long :  The Box Office Of  "Lighting Up The Stars"  Exceeded 900 Million.  Surpassing "Jurassic World 3"  In 12 Days.   And Became The Top 5 Box Office Of The Year.

 

As of 22:00 on 5 July,  Zhu Yi Long's  "Lighting Up The Stars" has broken through 50 Million at the Box Office in a Single Day.  Accounting for more than 57% of the film, and 76.8% of the box office.

 

The cumulative box office of the 12-day release exceeded 905 Million.  Beating "Jurassic World 3" which only manages 904 Million box office results in 26 days.

 

Helping domestic films to successfully win the Summer Box Office Championship from Hollywood.

 

It took Zhu Yi Long "only 12 days" to complete the achievements of the new film's box office, breaking 900 Million and the summer box office champion.

 

There is no doubt that Zhu Yi Long is the biggest dark horse at the box office this year.

 

In recent years, domestic films have become popular and large-scale production, and the film cost record has been broken many times.  But there are almost "No Dark Horses in small and medium-sized costs films".   "Lighting Up The Stars" is a medium-sized production.
