Ok, here's my take on SeHee's latest move tonight: Wanting to sleep together with JiHo! Yay!

 

First off, I see his monologue to himself as a positive one. All these years, he kept that post-it because it's to remind himself that he is someone who did not deserve to love. Not only did JM ended their relationship bitterly, she put a curse on SH. Ok, let's say the villain to their love is SH's father, but that does not mean she has to take it out on SH, unless, SH himself was not able to defend their love from his father. If she truly loved SH, and if they truly loved each other, and if they had perfect communication during the time of their relationship, things would have gone a different way. JM saw SH to be at fault why their relationship fell. SH was not able to defend their love from the villain, thus, SH does not deserve to love. SH should not love. He has no right to do that.

 

Through the years, SH has been carrying this curse, this guilt, that he is someone who cannot defend his love. He has ingrained it in himself for 12 long years, that is until JH came along. I would say he was curious about her at first, then things happened and he cannot help but fall for this pretty woman whose heart is charming. 

 

After facing his heart at that moment by the sea, he had already made a decision. It's to forgive himself. Step by step. He kisses JiHo for the first time, takes her out on a date for the first time, gave her a gift for the first time, and brought her to the place where his love ended for the first time. He is starting to forgive himself, and that night, when he saw the post-it again, the reminder he was holding on to for all these years, he talks about how he lived true to the reminder, that he has been paying for his guilt all these years. But when he was looking at JiHo, he talks about wanting to be happy now, because that is when he realized that he is still capable of being happy with the right person. 

 

He wants to love again, this time. So he's taking the next logical step in getting closer to each other. Both of them knows they want each other anyway. Haha

 

The only thing I'm worried about is JiHo. She will admire JM and once she knows that she's the first love, it'll affect her self-esteem for sure. Sehee needs to make her feel the love first before encountering JM again. Hahah

It's so funny how SeHee's the one who gives WonSeok the clearest answers regarding marriage - when he's the one in a fake marriage (that's slowly becoming real, heh). Because he takes emotions out of the question and sees it logically for what it is, everything is easily black and white and the consequences are easily obviously arrived at because the variables... are taken away. With things so straightforward, it's easy for an engineer like WonSeok to solve and decide what he must do.

 

It's like SeHee is making it his mission to dislocate my jaw all this week, what with the kiss yesterday and then the invitation to sleep together today that totally came out of the left field. I agree that he probably just meant sleeping on one bed, side by side, and nothing like SuJi's version (that girl is a fox-rabbit, lol), but even then, for a guy who planned on never getting married, never loving again and dying alone in his own house, that's a huge thing.

 

SeHee overthinks a lot. And he's been a lonely guy who couldn't rely and refused to rely on anyone. It's kind of saddening how scared he is of hurting another person, it's like it's to the extent of a trauma. And JiHo's just the antidote to that, running in, telling him that it's okay to try new things or try again, because nothing's ever exactly the same, even if you unexpectedly hurt someone a little because people are strong and becoming a shield(!) for him. She was so cool when she took that Ajae's makgeolli and growled at him not to harass her man, HAHAHA.

 

It's like SeHee was a shell-less snail before (does that make him a slug?), always hiding under rocks and sneering at anyone else that comes close because otherwise he's too exposed. But then he found JiHo, his emotional house, and started venturing out into the world, because he has his home with him all the time where he can hide anytime if it gets too tough after all. JiHo's strong, that's why SeHee's coming out. He's ready to be selfish... because he knows she can take it? (What's a bit of passive aggressiveness, lol.)

Hahahahha what about the editing of when JH was anxious wiping off the poor table's surface? They edited that with serious jug jug ah ah rhythms. I don't know. I think it's the way JH talks and the way SH feels like a dork most of the time that I cannot let myself get there... HAHA I don't know. Maybe because it's Ji Ho's first that I can, but would rather not, imagine the consummation? LOL
