I saw that there was already a recap but HERE IS ANOTHER ONE I GUESS 
I went a little overboard and instead of summarizing translated a lot of the conversationit's a crazy long recap but hopefully it helpsit was a painful episode imopainpain
recap:

MH thinks back on when YJ tried to explain that the car had only hit that barrel and that she had cleaned that barrel up herself, wanting to move it off the road. MH remembers that and orders GS to find the truck driver and figure out what it was that happened the day. MH looks at JH’s picture and then YJ’s and sheds a few tears AND THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

WE GO BACK TO THE KISS

He kisses her once as YJ sheds a few tears. A momentary silence ensues before MH stands up and tries to explain himself, but YJ is adamant and says: “It’s okay.  Mistakes happen.”

He stops her quickly again and says, “It’s not a mistake.” YJ falters for a second before walking away and thinks about what happened. MH sits back down in the car seat YJ sat on and cries and sighs (unintentional rhyming wat wat).

Meanwhile, SY has hurt her finger after throwing the glass of wine at the mirror. DH is concerned for her and advises her to go the hospital since the cut looks deep to him (WHERE ARE UR PRIORITIES MAN) and SY asks DH to stay with her for the night. He wakes up in her bed, disheveled but fully dressed and again asks her if she plans to go on with the wedding.

SY: “You said so yourself that we’re from two different worlds. In my world, I’ll be marrying MH and MH will be marrying me in his world. I don’t need anything like love.”
DH:  “And in my world, you plan on ‘dating’ me on the side?”
SY: “Do you dislike that?”
SY continues to brush him off.

At the restaurant, YJ sees a crying little boy and tries to comfort him. When his mom comes by and takes off the boy’s jacket, she sees his shirt and realizes it’s the same moon/star pattern she sewed for San’s blanket and begins to cry again. She sits in the locker room, crying, until MH shows up with a cup of coffee.

YJ quietly takes it and thanks him before trying to walk away, but MH stops her.

MH: “Are you going to keep avoiding me like that?”
(THEY’RE LITERALLY LIKE CENTIMETERS AWAY)
MH: “What happened that day-“
YJ: “I’ve already forgotten all about it.”
MH: “With whose permission? I told you it’s not a mistake.”
YJ: “Sajangnim-”
MH: “I’m really busy right now, but- I came here to see you. Even if it’s like this, I have to see you like this to feel like I can live.”

MH moves in and for a second it looks like he plans on kissing YJ, but he hands her a contract instead, indicating that she earned it and can take it to DH herself, saying that GS will be able to take her home afterwards. She thanks him, and MH stares at her before and says, “Now that I’ve at least seen you… I’m okay.”

He walks away before turning back around to glance wistfully at her and walks back away. YJ’S FACE REMAINS EVER UNREADABLE BUT SHE IS AFFECTED.

ANYWHO

YJ goes to find DH with the contract and a showdown commences, complete with biting verbal sparring and death glares.

She hands him the contract to take care of and he indicates that he won’t be able to do it.

YJ: “Not because you don’t want to do it?”
DH: “What do you think you’re saying?!”
YJ: “It doesn’t look good to be greedy for things that belong to other people.”
DH: “That’s not something you should be saying. How did I come this far? If you’re done here, go back.”
YJ: “How? That’s not right. You came this far because of your own choices. You have to take responsibility for that. Don’t act like the victim- it disgusts me. I’ll be back for the contract tomorrow.”
DH: “What is it that you want? Should I compensate you somehow?”
YJ: “Compensate me? How could you ever compensate me after taking away my baby and letting my father die… how much should I get for it to be a good compensation? I should ask other people- what would your parents say?”
DH: “KANG YOO-JUNG!”
YJ: “I’ll take your compensation. I’ll take it properly- so be prepared."

DH commences to throw the papers around (why doe you’re going to have to pick those up again?????????????????? Good job giving yourself more work???????????????)

GS reports to MH that YJ finished and MH nods, but GS isn’t done reporting. He lets MH know that YJ stopped by the bakery again and then inquires why MH isn’t giving YJ the bakery.

MH: “She might leave. I’m afraid that I give the bakery to her, she’ll disappear from my sight.”

Meanwhile, YJ is furiously looking for evidence to vindicate DH the night of her father’s death. She calls Sook-Ja unni (the lady she used to work with at the toll booths) and asks her for a favor.

The next day, she walks by the old toll booths she used to work at and thinks back to when she met MH again all that time ago, specifically remembering when MH looked at her little card thing that said “Kang Yoo-Jung – I love you customer!” and MH had joked, “Yes, the customer you love! I’m the person you have to love.” (YESH THE IRONY)

She smiles (SMILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) thinking back on the memory when Sook-Ja appears, breaking YJ out of her reverie. Sook-Ja worries since she’s not supposed to be doing something like this, but she knows YJ doesn’t ask for favors often and helps her. YJ hands her a paper with information about the car DH was in the night her father died.

YJ’s cute little friend with her cute little accent (uwu) asks YJ at the restaurant why Sajangnim hasn’t been appearing anymore. YJ dismisses her, saying that Sajangnim isn’t a person to be showing up here like that. THEN LITERALLY OUT OF NOWHERE GS SHOWS UP AND SAYS THE DREADED ALMOST EXCITING WORDS:

“Sajangnim is very sick right now.”

Not that I enjoy people being sick but ok MH being sick means more MH-YJ interaction so

Anywho

GS brings YJ to MH’s room where she sees MH sleeping. GS explains that MH as a fever and asks YJ to take care of him. YJ inquires as to what she’s supposed to do, but GS leaves and says he has work to do.

YJ walks into the room and lifts the blanket- it appears that MH has sprained his ankle somehow. She begins to carefully wipe his face (MH’s lips are crazy chapped like wat) and sees the little box that was his Mom’s. She winds it to hear what it is it does and holy CRAP SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME AND I THINK YJ TOO MH holds on to her wrist and tells her not to mess with that box.

He asks her why she’s here, but she deflects his question and asks him if he’s feeling better and if he’s hungry. She makes and spoonfeeds him juk and why does he have to look at her like that I’m three seconds away from throwing myself against the TV

YJ falters and stops spoonfeeding him. “But your hand isn’t hurt.” Awkward af since MH had opened his mouth to eat the juk but MH takes the spoon and eats it himself.

YJ: “If you’re done eating, I’ll clean up and leave now.”
But MH stops her by talking.
MH: “That box- it was my mother’s. I keep thinking of her when I hear the sound… I wasn’t getting mad at you earlier. I was just scared.”
YJ: “What are you scared of?”
MH: “Because I was the reason my mother passed away. If I just hadn’t gone inside that room or just-” MH starts to fight tears. “I don’t want to think about how much my mother would be disappointed in me.”
YJ: “There’s no mom that would ever be disappointed in you for that.”
MH: “She never wanted to be here. She was unhappy here. She would look out the window, into the empty distance- she only stayed here because of me.” (CREYZ SOME MORE GOOD GOD)
YJ: “You’re mistaken, Sajangnim. I don’t know everything, but someone who will leave will end up leaving one day. She didn’t leave because of you- she was able to stay here FOR you. If she knew you were so sad because of this right now, she would be sad too. I had a baby once- so trust me.”

YJ gets up to leave but MH holds her wrist and leans her head against her chest.

MH: “Just for a moment- stay here just for a moment and leave.”

Slowly, YJ’s arm moves up and she touches his back.

DEN WE’RE BACK WITH DH AND GM and they proceed to have a conversation. He observes that DH’s gotten close with that guy MH punched and makes quiet threats that scares the crap outta DH obviously.

MH and SY sign some contracts probs dealing with business and bringing their families together and they shake hands amicably in front of the paparazzi. She’s clearly bitter af and continues to make biting remarks. When MH says to stop, she sneers and says that this is what they’ve always done. He stops her from leaving and tells her that he read Wuthering Heights, that story about revenge that began with love and ended in tragedy. Isn’t that what the story’s about? SY is clearly startled and says she has to leave.

MH: “What I’m curious about- when it works out differently, my way, I wonder  how revenge that begins with love will end?”

DH continues to be the smarmy poopyhead he is when YJ goes by to pick up the contract.  He tosses her the pictures of that night at TGIF and it startles her- it confuses me as to why it does, but then DH starts talking again. He says that if the public knew about this and what happened... there wouldn’t be much of a way for MH to hold onto that restaurant. He then proceeds to say that if the restaurant workers all lose their jobs, it’ll be YJ’s fault (ha ha ha v. funny DH u tried to make joke v. funny)

YJ holds her own and tells him not to pretend that he’s doing this for the restaurant workers. All he wants is to keep his position.

DH retorts smoothly that yes, he wants to keep this position of protecting K Group. If MH’s image falters, then so does K Group. He says that he’s telling her because she’s MH’s friend (again v. funny joke DH ha ha) and tells YJ to tell MH that MH ought to get down on his knees and beg for forgiveness from that horrible horrible man who treated YJ like crap at TGIF.

SY calls and DH answers the phone sweetly, saying that yes, he can leave right now.

YJ is shaken (and I’d like to note here that while YJ wasn’t shaken by the talk of restaurant workers, at the talk of MH she seems to lose to DH) and goes to find that dude. She apologizes to him on her knees, but that dude is relentless. He tells her to get up and says that he can’t forgive MH for the embarrassment and that he doesn’t understand why MH has someone like SY and all these other attractive girls around him but is drawn to someone as cheap as YJ.

He sneers and tells YJ to pour him a glass of wine- he’ll accept her apology based on how she acts towards him.  Her face remains ever-blank.

YJ goes back home and sees MH waiting for her, worrying that she’s coming back home so late when it’s her day off. He asks her where she went, but she deflects and asks if his foot is okay. His response is super duper cute and they exchange smiles and OK I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT EARLIER WHEN HE WALKED AWAY FROM SY HE WAS WALKING AWAY LIKE COMPLETELY FINE NOTHING WAS WRONG BUT NOW SUDDENLY HE APPEARS TO BE HOBBLING WATER U UP TO MH

YJ leaves to go back inside, but MH tries to walk after her and says his ankle hurts, going “Ow owowowowow”

They hold hands for a moment since she helped him stand up again before she lets go awkwardly. She hands him the contract, and MH is surprised that she left to get that today and asks if everything was okay. YJ lies and says it was fine, but MH literally like gazes into her eyes and seems to sense that something’s wrong. He walks away, reflective, and he begins to walk again with a normal walk without hobbling (I KNEW IT U STINKY POOPHEAD EXCUSES TO SEE YJ) and YJ comes out and sees him walk away normally.

She laughs and realizes that his ankle is actually all better.

Meanwhile, MH is trying to figure out the case again and gets pictures of YJ on her knees begging that dude for forgiveness. MH angrily goes to find her at TGIF, cleaning the restroom.

MH: “I told you to just do what I told you to do. Why are you doing things I never told you to do?”
YJ tries to explain, but MH keeps talking.
MH: “Why did you meet him? Why did you pour him that wine?”
YJ: “To apologize- someone told me that because of that the company was…”
MH: “Did DH say that?
YJ: “I just wanted to apologize because it was my fault and-”
MH: “Why are you apologizing? Why do you always think it’s your fault? That was my fault- my fault for taking you there!”
YJ: “I went because I WANTED to apologize. I wanted to do something for you- why shouldn’t I be able to pour alcohol? Why shouldn’t I be able to get on my knees? If doing that can help you, how could any of that be hard?”
MH: “Why do you have to get on your knees for me?”
YJ: “It’s nothing for me.”
MH: “I’m not okay with it- don’t ever get on your knees for anyone again. If anyone’s going to get on their knees, it’ll be me.”

YJ tries to leave again, but he holds her hand and stops her.

MH: “Let me ask you one thing. Did you do that because of me?”
YJ: “There’s no other reason. I was just... worried. I didn’t want you to be in trouble because of me, so I was worried. There’s no other reason.”

Almost symbolically, she takes her hand away from his and walks away.

Back at MH’s home, his father and dat lady are back. They’re talking business and MH’s dad appears to be proud of the restaurant deal his son is beginning. MH leaves. GM talks about DH and how it’s not ready to tell him (tell him what??) and he also tells him that MH is reinvestigating that case… and it looks like it’s because of a woman. MH’s dad isn’t pleased.

YJ leaves her house to go to work and GM is there to take her to MH’s home. At the table sits MH’s father, DH, SY, and MH’s stepmom lady. Dis is awkward af and SY is glaring at YJ like crazy.

MH’s dad tells YJ good job on the restaurant deal- and that she shouldn’t have any reason to see MH, correct? All the meanwhile, SY is sneering and egging this on and MH’s stepmom clearly looks down on YJ. MH’s dad dismisses them and tells YJ to stop meeting MH- and then of course MH shows up with GS and begins to yell. He grabs YJ’s hand and tries to leave, but holy crap GS grabs MH’s arm and stops them from leaving????????????????? Wat????????????????? GS????????????????????????????? Water u doing??????????????????????????????????????????????????

MH’s stepmom instructs for the servants to escort YJ out and she quickly apologizes repeatedly, which only infuriates MH more.

MH: “I told you not to be sorry- I told you that none of this was your fault!”

YJ still apologizes once more and leaves with MH calling out her name, but GS holds onto MH’s arm still. MH’s dad dismisses DH as well, telling him to take care of everything, indicating that he doesn’t think they can eat together.

DH leaves and sees YJ standing outside. He tells her to see it- they’re different from everyone else in that house. They look down on them. He tells YJ to stop being with MH- but YJ counters and asks him about SY.

Before YJ leaves, she thanks him for the bracelet. It indicates that DH was her father’s guardian.

MH: “That woman- leave her alone. I’m going to protect her. This time around you really can’t-”

MH’s dad scolds him for saying that in front of SY, but SY throws it off and MH yells that he refuses to marry.  She brings up Ji-Hee, saying that even she couldn’t make it here and supposing that there was no way that the woman who killed Ji-Hee would ever step foot here. MH tells SY that there shouldn’t be anyway that she’ll step foot in here either, and MH gets out of GS’s crap.

MH is adamant, yelling that he refuses to marry SY, but MH’s dad tells MH to say it again, threateningly. And MH does: “That woman- leave her alone. I won’t forgive you.”

Meanwhile, SY cries into DH’s arms and I’m like ok wat  wat wat wat wat and also GS wat wat wat wat but anyways SY is crying nand DH comforts her. MH goes to find YJ at her home- she’s there, but the doors are closed and she refuses to open them. HE CALLS OUT HER NAME PROPERLY FINALLY-  HE SAYS “YOO-JUNG AH” and pounds on the door relentlessly, and YJ tells MH to go back, but MH says he’s relieved. He was afraid she had hid away again.

MH: “I’m not making the same mistake again. I don’t care if they kick me out of K Group- I need you to be with me.”
YJ: “Don’t act like a child anymore. Aren’t you thinking of my feelings? Why should I have to be by your side and endure what they tell me?”
MH: “What about you? I thought you said you worry about me.”
YJ: “Yes, I do worry about you. But that’s it- I hate you. I hate you. I hate you for separating me and DH, who I loved so much. So please- please leave.”

GOD MY HEART IS BREAING

His face is breaking my heart omg

But MH continues to pound on the door relentlessly, yelling her name, begging her to open the door.

YJ: “When I see you, it hurts. I want to forget all of it- but you keep bringing all those memories back.”

MH tells her to come out again so they can talk looking at each other, but YJ is stubborn.

YJ: “I knew- I knew. I had a premonition that that barrel wasn’t all we hit that night of the accident, and if I had just done something- Ji-Hee would be by your side still today. I was so happy that night- and I was so worried that I would lose my happiness that I went ahead and trusted that it couldn’t have been anything that happened. I was so afraid to look outside- that I avoided it. I’ve killed Ji-Hee because of that. I’ve killed her. Whenever I see you, I think of that day and it hurts me to see you. I don’t want to see you anymore- please.”
MH: “I’ll leave. I’ll go. Just don’t be hurt. Don’t be tired.”

Guise MH is literally  breaking my heart into pieces right now omg he touches the door, still able to hear YJ cry on the other side, but he knows he can’t do anything else and leaves.

He walks to where they’d kissed for the first time and GS pulls up. MH doesn’t blame GS though for holding him back and says that he supposes his dad is always first for GS, but GS isn’t here to talk about that- he’s found the truck driver.

YJ stops by to see Ji-Hee again and apologizes for being greedy, for wanting to be with MH even for a day. She says she knows she should be punished for it, considering what she did to Ji-Hee, but she says that she so desperately wanted to hold MH’s hand.

YJ sits at the bus stop and starts to get on the bus, but MH comes out of nowhere and grabs her, pulls her back from getting on the bus. Leaves are like flying everywhere and omg but he grabs her and holds onto her and hugs her and the bus closes its door (what must the bus driver be thinking) and omg this is breaking my heart he’s just holding onto her and they’re standing there and the episode ends fack dis

MH says to DH the same thing he said in the last preview about how there’s a lot to find regarding DH

DH is at SY’s house looking for something and SY looks at him inquisitively, but DH holds the documents close to his chest

DH: “I won’t let it finish like this.”

I thought i can stay away from this forum until tmr but every time i refresh the page, more detail recap of today's episode is being shown. Thanks @melliflourence for the detail recap of today. with your help, i'll just wait till after tmr to watch both episode 13 and 14. Thank you! kamsamida!!

~****SPOILERS****~

What makes "Secret" so much more than a melodrama is that its plays with theatrical grandeur, on a canvas that feels real, looks cinematic and has an orchestral score to match. For all its actors and actresses, it sets a master piece of epic proportion in the acting skills scheme of things. "Secret" is most breathtaking in its small moments, in which the pain and glory of being human are conveyed through their trials and tribulations. I LOVE THIS DRAMA, ONE OF MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIME.

Okay, okay.....this episode truly set the stage for disaster in the most profane way. Not a bad thing because we see characters like MH, YJ, SY and DH starts to break away in to their individual inner turmoils. 

MH: This man has grown massively into a very conflicting yet caring man, more rational than the person we were introduced to in epi., 1. I love the way he's standing up for YJ to his father. When MH's dad invited YJ to his house and MH appeared, he said to his dad, "Don't you dare lay a hand on that woman, for I am going to protect her and you won't be able to separate us again." WOW......talking about a man on a mission to defend his woman. Here, here...he couldn't do that for JH, but here he is for the first time in his life fighting for what he believes is his woman. Ji Sung is such an amazing actor.

YJ: She's coming out of her shell. I like the way she's standing up to DH, using alternatives to bring his shameless deeds out in the open....YOU GO GIRL. The love that she once felt for DH doesn't exist anymore, all you can see now is disappointment from her...she's disappointed at the way he turned out and the person he has become. 

SY: This woman is just unapologetically shameless. I just don't get her rationale therefore, I am not going to elaborate about it.

Mr. Leech aka DH: This man is unbelievable. I am speechless as there are no words to describe the kind of human being he is. 

Brilliant drama. Amazingly paced, extremely well-acted, and wholly consuming. "Secret" will have me nailed in front of my iMac for the next 3 episodes.

He walks away before turning back around to glance wistfully at her and walks back away. YJ’S FACE REMAINS EVER UNREADABLE BUT SHE IS AFFECTED.

ANYWHO

YJ goes to find DH with the contract and a showdown commences, complete with biting verbal sparring and death glares.

She hands him the contract to take care of and he indicates that he won’t be able to do it.

YJ: “Not because you don’t want to do it?”
DH: “What do you think you’re saying?!”
YJ: “It doesn’t look good to be greedy for things that belong to other people.”
DH: “That’s not something you should be saying. How did I come this far? If you’re done here, go back.”
YJ: “How? That’s not right. You came this far because of your own choices. You have to take responsibility for that. Don’t act like the victim- it disgusts me. I’ll be back for the contract tomorrow.”
DH: “What is it that you want? Should I compensate you somehow?”
YJ: “Compensate me? How could you ever compensate me after taking away my baby and letting my father die… how much should I get for it to be a good compensation? I should ask other people- what would your parents say?”
DH: “KANG YOO-JUNG!”
YJ: “I’ll take your compensation. I’ll take it properly- so be prepared."

DH commences to throw the papers around (why doe you’re going to have to pick those up again?????????????????? Good job giving yourself more work???????????????)

GS reports to MH that YJ finished and MH nods, but GS isn’t done reporting. He lets MH know that YJ stopped by the bakery again and then inquires why MH isn’t giving YJ the bakery.

MH: “She might leave. I’m afraid that I give the bakery to her, she’ll disappear from my sight.”

Meanwhile, YJ is furiously looking for evidence to vindicate DH the night of her father’s death. She calls Sook-Ja unni (the lady she used to work with at the toll booths) and asks her for a favor.

The next day, she walks by the old toll booths she used to work at and thinks back to when she met MH again all that time ago, specifically remembering when MH looked at her little card thing that said “Kang Yoo-Jung – I love you customer!” and MH had joked, “Yes, the customer you love! I’m the person you have to love.” (YESH THE IRONY)

She smiles (SMILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) thinking back on the memory when Sook-Ja appears, breaking YJ out of her reverie. Sook-Ja worries since she’s not supposed to be doing something like this, but she knows YJ doesn’t ask for favors often and helps her. YJ hands her a paper with information about the car DH was in the night her father died.

YJ’s cute little friend with her cute little accent (uwu) asks YJ at the restaurant why Sajangnim hasn’t been appearing anymore. YJ dismisses her, saying that Sajangnim isn’t a person to be showing up here like that. THEN LITERALLY OUT OF NOWHERE GS SHOWS UP AND SAYS THE DREADED ALMOST EXCITING WORDS:

“Sajangnim is very sick right now.”

Not that I enjoy people being sick but ok MH being sick means more MH-YJ interaction so

Anywho

GS brings YJ to MH’s room where she sees MH sleeping. GS explains that MH as a fever and asks YJ to take care of him. YJ inquires as to what she’s supposed to do, but GS leaves and says he has work to do.

YJ walks into the room and lifts the blanket- it appears that MH has sprained his ankle somehow. She begins to carefully wipe his face (MH’s lips are crazy chapped like wat) and sees the little box that was his Mom’s. She winds it to hear what it is it does and holy CRAP SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME AND I THINK YJ TOO MH holds on to her wrist and tells her not to mess with that box.

He asks her why she’s here, but she deflects his question and asks him if he’s feeling better and if he’s hungry. She makes and spoonfeeds him juk and why does he have to look at her like that I’m three seconds away from throwing myself against the TV

YJ falters and stops spoonfeeding him. “But your hand isn’t hurt.” Awkward af since MH had opened his mouth to eat the juk but MH takes the spoon and eats it himself.

YJ: “If you’re done eating, I’ll clean up and leave now.”
But MH stops her by talking.
MH: “That box- it was my mother’s. I keep thinking of her when I hear the sound… I wasn’t getting mad at you earlier. I was just scared.”
YJ: “What are you scared of?”
MH: “Because I was the reason my mother passed away. If I just hadn’t gone inside that room or just-” MH starts to fight tears. “I don’t want to think about how much my mother would be disappointed in me.”
YJ: “There’s no mom that would ever be disappointed in you for that.”
MH: “She never wanted to be here. She was unhappy here. She would look out the window, into the empty distance- she only stayed here because of me.” (CREYZ SOME MORE GOOD GOD)
YJ: “You’re mistaken, Sajangnim. I don’t know everything, but someone who will leave will end up leaving one day. She didn’t leave because of you- she was able to stay here FOR you. If she knew you were so sad because of this right now, she would be sad too. I had a baby once- so trust me.”

YJ gets up to leave but MH holds her wrist and leans her head against her chest.

MH: “Just for a moment- stay here just for a moment and leave.”

Slowly, YJ’s arm moves up and she touches his back.

DEN WE’RE BACK WITH DH AND THAT DUDE WITH GLASSES WHO FOR SOME REASON I CAN’T REMEMBER HIS NAME and they proceed to have a conversation. He observes that DH’s gotten close with that guy MH punched and makes quiet threats that scares the crap outta DH obviously.

MH and SY sign some contracts probs dealing with business and bringing their families together and they shake hands amicably in front of the paparazzi. She’s clearly bitter af and continues to make biting remarks. When MH says to stop, she sneers and says that this is what they’ve always done. He stops her from leaving and tells her that he read Wuthering Heights, that story about revenge that began with love and ended in tragedy. Isn’t that what the story’s about? SY is clearly startled and says she has to leave.

MH: “What I’m curious about- when it works out differently, my way, I wonder  how revenge that begins with love will end?”

DH continues to be the smarmy poopyhead he is when YJ goes by to pick up the contract.  He tosses her the pictures of that night at TGIF and it startles her- it confuses me as to why it does, but then DH starts talking again. He says that if the public knew about this and what happened... there wouldn’t be much of a way for MH to hold onto that restaurant. He then proceeds to say that if the restaurant workers all lose their jobs, it’ll be YJ’s fault (ha ha ha v. funny DH u tried to make joke v. funny)

YJ holds her own and tells him not to pretend that he’s doing this for the restaurant workers. All he wants is to keep his position.

DH retorts smoothly that yes, he wants to keep this position of protecting K Group. If MH’s image falters, then so does K Group. He says that he’s telling her because she’s MH’s friend (again v. funny joke DH ha ha) and tells YJ to tell MH that MH ought to get down on his knees and beg for forgiveness from that horrible horrible man who treated YJ like crap at TGIF.

SY calls and DH answers the phone sweetly, saying that yes, he can leave right now.

YJ is shaken (and I’d like to note here that while YJ wasn’t shaken by the talk of restaurant workers, at the talk of MH she seems to lose to DH) and goes to find that dude. She apologizes to him on her knees, but that dude is relentless. He tells her to get up and says that he can’t forgive MH for the embarrassment and that he doesn’t understand why MH has someone like SY and all these other attractive girls around him but is drawn to someone as cheap as YJ.

He sneers and tells YJ to pour him a glass of wine- he’ll accept her apology based on how she acts towards him.  Her face remains ever-blank.

YJ goes back home and sees MH waiting for her, worrying that she’s coming back home so late when it’s her day off. He asks her where she went, but she deflects and asks if his foot is okay. His response is super duper cute and they exchange smiles and OK I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT EARLIER WHEN HE WALKED AWAY FROM SY HE WAS WALKING AWAY LIKE COMPLETELY FINE NOTHING WAS WRONG BUT NOW SUDDENLY HE APPEARS TO BE HOBBLING WATER U UP TO MH

YJ leaves to go back inside, but MH tries to walk after her and says his ankle hurts, going “Ow owowowowow”

They hold hands for a moment since she helped him stand up again before she lets go awkwardly. She hands him the contract, and MH is surprised that she left to get that today and asks if everything was okay. YJ lies and says it was fine, but MH literally like gazes into her eyes and seems to sense that something’s wrong. He walks away, reflective, and he begins to walk again with a normal walk without hobbling (I KNEW IT U STINKY POOPHEAD EXCUSES TO SEE YJ) and YJ comes out and sees him walk away normally.

She laughs and realizes that his ankle is actually all better.

Meanwhile, MH is trying to figure out the case again and gets pictures of YJ on her knees begging that dude for forgiveness. MH angrily goes to find her at TGIF, cleaning the restroom.

MH: “I told you to just do what I told you to do. Why are you doing things I never told you to do?”
YJ tries to explain, but MH keeps talking.
MH: “Why did you meet him? Why did you pour him that wine?”
YJ: “To apologize- someone told me that because of that the company was…”
MH: “Did DH say that?
YJ: “I just wanted to apologize because it was my fault and-”
MH: “Why are you apologizing? Why do you always think it’s your fault? That was my fault- my fault for taking you there!”
YJ: “I went because I WANTED to apologize. I wanted to do something for you- why shouldn’t I be able to pour alcohol? Why shouldn’t I be able to get on my knees? If doing that can help you, how could any of that be hard?”
MH: “Why do you have to get on your knees for me?”
YJ: “It’s nothing for me.”
MH: “I’m not okay with it- don’t ever get on your knees for anyone again. If anyone’s going to get on their knees, it’ll be me.”

YJ tries to leave again, but he holds her hand and stops her.

MH: “Let me ask you one thing. Did you do that because of me?”
YJ: “There’s no other reason. I was just... worried. I didn’t want you to be in trouble because of me, so I was worried. There’s no other reason.”

Almost symbolically, she takes her hand away from his and walks away.

Back at MH’s home, his father and dat lady are back. They’re talking business and MH’s dad appears to be proud of the restaurant deal his son is beginning. MH leaves. GM talks about DH and how it’s not ready to tell him (tell him what??) and he also tells him that MH is reinvestigating that case… and it looks like it’s because of a woman. MH’s dad isn’t pleased.

YJ leaves her house to go to work and GM is there to take her to MH’s home. At the table sits MH’s father, DH, SY, and MH’s stepmom lady. Dis is awkward af and SY is glaring at YJ like crazy.

MH’s dad tells YJ good job on the restaurant deal- and that she shouldn’t have any reason to see MH, correct? All the meanwhile, SY is sneering and egging this on and MH’s stepmom clearly looks down on YJ. MH’s dad dismisses them and tells YJ to stop meeting MH- and then of course MH shows up with GS and begins to yell. He grabs YJ’s hand and tries to leave, but holy crap GS grabs MH’s arm and stops them from leaving????????????????? Wat????????????????? GS????????????????????????????? Water u doing??????????????????????????????????????????????????

MH’s stepmom instructs for the servants to escort YJ out and she quickly apologizes repeatedly, which only infuriates MH more.

MH: “I told you not to be sorry- I told you that none of this was your fault!”

YJ still apologizes once more and leaves with MH calling out her name, but GS holds onto MH’s arm still. MH’s dad dismisses DH as well, telling him to take care of everything, indicating that he doesn’t think they can eat together.

DH leaves and sees YJ standing outside. He tells her to see it- they’re different from everyone else in that house. They look down on them. He tells YJ to stop being with MH- but YJ counters and asks him about SY.

Before YJ leaves, she thanks him for the bracelet. It indicates that DH was her father’s guardian.

MH: “That woman- leave her alone. I’m going to protect her. This time around you really can’t-”

MH’s dad scolds him for saying that in front of SY, but SY throws it off and MH yells that he refuses to marry.  She brings up Ji-Hee, saying that even she couldn’t make it here and supposing that there was no way that the woman who killed Ji-Hee would ever step foot here. MH tells SY that there shouldn’t be anyway that she’ll step foot in here either, and MH gets out of GS’s crap.

MH is adamant, yelling that he refuses to marry SY, but MH’s dad tells MH to say it again, threateningly. And MH does: “That woman- leave her alone. I won’t forgive you.”

Meanwhile, SY cries into DH’s arms and I’m like ok wat  wat wat wat wat and also GS wat wat wat wat but anyways SY is crying nand DH comforts her. MH goes to find YJ at her home- she’s there, but the doors are closed and she refuses to open them. HE CALLS OUT HER NAME PROPERLY FINALLY-  HE SAYS “YOO-JUNG AH” and pounds on the door relentlessly, and YJ tells MH to go back, but MH says he’s relieved. He was afraid she had hid away again.

MH: “I’m not making the same mistake again. I don’t care if they kick me out of K Group- I need you to be with me.”
YJ: “Don’t act like a child anymore. Aren’t you thinking of my feelings? Why should I have to be by your side and endure what they tell me?”
MH: “What about you? I thought you said you worry about me.”
YJ: “Yes, I do worry about you. But that’s it- I hate you. I hate you. I hate you for separating me and DH, who I loved so much. So please- please leave.”

GOD MY HEART IS BREAING

His face is breaking my heart omg

But MH continues to pound on the door relentlessly, yelling her name, begging her to open the door.

YJ: “When I see you, it hurts. I want to forget all of it- but you keep bringing all those memories back.”

MH tells her to come out again so they can talk looking at each other, but YJ is stubborn.

YJ: “I knew- I knew. I had a premonition that that barrel wasn’t all we hit that night of the accident, and if I had just done something- Ji-Hee would be by your side still today. I was so happy that night- and I was so worried that I would lose my happiness that I went ahead and trusted that it couldn’t have been anything that happened. I was so afraid to look outside- that I avoided it. I’ve killed Ji-Hee because of that. I’ve killed her. Whenever I see you, I think of that day and it hurts me to see you. I don’t want to see you anymore- please.”
MH: “I’ll leave. I’ll go. Just don’t be hurt. Don’t be tired.”

Guise MH is literally  breaking my heart into pieces right now omg he touches the door, still able to hear YJ cry on the other side, but he knows he can’t do anything else and leaves.

He walks to where they’d kissed for the first time and GS pulls up. MH doesn’t blame GS though for holding him back and says that he supposes his dad is always first for GS, but GS isn’t here to talk about that- he’s found the truck driver.

YJ stops by to see Ji-Hee again and apologizes for being greedy, for wanting to be with MH even for a day. She says she knows she should be punished for it, considering what she did to Ji-Hee, but she says that she so desperately wanted to hold MH’s hand.

YJ sits at the bus stop and starts to get on the bus, but MH comes out of nowhere and grabs her, pulls her back from getting on the bus. Leaves are like flying everywhere and omg but he grabs her and holds onto her and hugs her and the bus closes its door (what must the bus driver be thinking) and omg this is breaking my heart he’s just holding onto her and they’re standing there and the episode ends fack dis

MH gets on his knees in front of his dad and MH”s stepmom watches in horror.
MH: “I’ll be greedy this one time, Father. I won’t marry.”

Dat unni of YJ’s: “Is it really going to be okay?”

And then that dude tells MH something about Laywer Choi but I can’t make it out

MH says to DH the same thing he said in the last preview about how there’s a lot to find regarding DH

DH is at SY’s house looking for something and SY looks at him inquisitively, but DH holds the documents close to his chest

DH: “I won’t let it finish like this.”

I thought I saw in the recap that Daddy decides to do a background check on YJ, Hell, he does not have to waste more paper or man power. All he needs is KS, he knows everything about YJ I bet since MH did the same and has compiled reams of information. Not to mention first hand experience with her issues and her character. He would be a much better source then what they will find on paper, because what's on paper will provided the incorrect view of YJ. She is not a criminal nor an opportunist.

Ji Sung deserve a Korean Oscar for Drama or sumthin' for his super amazing performance in that locker room... it looks so damn natural that we can't find any track that it's a drama and an actor plays a character that is even more realistic than in real life...... bravo to the max...
