The fashionista at LV store opening in Seoul, 7/5.

I really love her, but I have to say that the pair of flowers on her hair is on the verge of good/bad fashion. Other than that, she's looking better than ever.

GHJ was a Best Actress nominee for "Family Ties" (finally! an award-giving body that recognized her fantastic performance). She lost to Jang JinYoung, but that's ok, because just a few days later...

Family Ties Takes Top Prize in Greece

Korean hybrid ensemble drama Family Ties was awarded the Golden Alexander for best film at the 47th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, which had a ten day run ending November 26th.

Success didn't stop there. Family Ties also picked-up the Best Actress award, which the jury felt all four actresses in the 3-piece film deserved. MOON So-ri, GO Du-shim, KONG Hyo-jin, and KIM Hae-ok shared the prize.

Best wishes to HJH and his bride! I LOOOOVE his first 2 movies and his Twentidentity short. I'm crossing my fingers that "Happiness" will be just as wonderful. Ahhh, can't wait to watch it! It's cute how HyoJin seemed so happy for him--she hugged him tightly and almost wouldn't let go of his hand. They probably became close during filming (from the BTS of his other films, you can sort of tell HJH is a gentle, soft-spoken guy).

Other celebrity guests in the vids: GHJ's "Happiness" costars Im SooJung and Hwang JungMin (who even sang!), Jeon DoYeon (fresh off her Cannes victory) and her "Secret Sunshine" director Lee ChangDong, Kim HyeSoo, Son YeJin, Yoo JiTae, Moon SungGeun, etc. I'm surprised Lee YoungAe, Bae YongJoon, Han SukGyu and esp Shim EunHa weren't there... Or maybe they were, they just weren't caught by the camera? Well, I hope so anyway; they owe a great deal to this acclaimed director and the least they could do was share in his happy day.

Agree about the flowers --> :tongue2: I like that HyoJin has a very unique and adventurous sense of fashion, but I guess the downside is the sporadic 'What was she thinking wearing THAT?' moments. Haha, I still cringe when I see pics of her in that unfortunate shapeless-sack-masquerading-as-a-dress-with-orange-tights ensemble at the "Thank You" presscon. <pics>

At least this time the rest of the naughty French maid outfit looks nice. Those legs! So long and toned! But those flowers aigoo~~~

Nothing like the opening of a high-end boutique to bring out all the style icons and the goodie bag/PR-lovin', heh. Stars I spotted in the vids: Shin DongWook, Yoon KyeSang, Song YoonAh, Lee MiYeon (who looked haggard...at an event where Looking Fab is actually expected of you ), Shin MinAh, Uhm JungHwa, Yoon EunHye, Son YeJin, Ryu SeungBeom, Ji JinHee, Kwon SangWoo, Ha JungWoo, Lee HyeYoung, Kim HeeAe etc.

Speaking of fashionistas, GHJ was named one of InStyle's Best Dressed of 2004 along with Hwang ShinHye, Byun JungSoo, and fellow LV opening attendees KHA and LHY. They also included what she wore to the 2004 Korea Film Awards in their feature 'The Greatest Red Carpet Moments'.

SK Telecom launched a fund-raising/awareness campaign for AIDS patients and the SidusHQ cast members not only helped to promote it, but also put their money where their mouth is by donating part of their talent fees from the drama. After SKT's charity event in May, a ceremony was held in which Jang Hyuk, Seo ShinAe and GHJ presented the amount collected to the committee in charge of the Fund for AIDS.
