'Autumn Tale' Han Chae-Yeong's younger version, actress Lee Ae-Jeong [이애정]

dies at age 19 on September 6th, 2007, after a year-long fight against deep-seated brain tumor.

Other than KBS 'Autumn Tale' she also appeared in children's drama 'Jump' with "Prince Yeongpo" actor Won Gi-Jun of MBC 'Jumong' as well as a couple of other dramas. She was a student at Han Yang university studying acting up until 2006 when she was diagnosed and hospitalized for her illness. On her minihomepage, Lee Ae-Jeong left the words "I am really thankful of the people around me. I'll get well soon to pay back the grace. Thank you. I love you."

Actress Lee Ae-jeong Dies of Brain Tumor

Actress Lee Ae-jeong (20) was belatedly reported to have died of a brain tumor.

The news first broke on the Internet Thursday.

Diagnosed with the disease in July last year, Lee underwent two surgeries and was relocated to the provinces, where she passed away on Sept. 6.

Since playing the child role played by Han Chae-young in the famed drama series 'Autumn Tale,' Lee had been regarded as a promising young talent.

She reportedly did not want news of her ailment to be released to the public.

Since her death, a growing number of netizens have visited her Cyworld homepage to pay condolences. Greetings that Lee wrote on the site before she died include the message, "Thank you everyone. I'll heal quickly to repay your gratitude. Thank you. I love you."
