class="articletitle"'Time Slip Dr. Jin' JYJ Jaejoong's Doomed Fate

23796-time-slip-dr-jin.jpg

Idol group JYJ member Kim Jaejoong brought tears to the audience with his heartbreaking fate in the MBC weekend drama "Time Slip Dr. Jin."

On the 16th episode of "Time Slip Dr. Jin" that aired on July 15, the unfortunate fate of Kim Kyung Tak (Kim Jaejoong) was revealed when his own father, Byung Hee, betrays him without any remorse.

During the episode, Kim Kyung Tak shoots Lee Ha Eung (Lee Bum Soo) in order to get his father's approval. However, all of his efforts become meaningless and Kim Kyung Tak lands in a complicated situation. Instead of helping his son, Kim Kyung Tak's father disowns him.

Rejected by Hong Young Rae (Park Min Young) and his own biological father, Kim Kyung Tak begins to feel helpless about his fate and plans to commit suicide. The only thing that brings him down to his normal healthy state of mind is Hong Young Rae. After thinking about his love Hong Young Rae, Kim Kyung Tak gains strength and decides to ask his father for forgiveness one more time.

After seeing his son begging for forgiveness, Kim Kyung Tak's father says, "There will be a lot of things to take care of in the future. You can call me your father again." Kim Kyung Tak is touched by his father's words but in reality, he was only about to be taken advantage of. Kim Kyung Tak's father had formed a bond with Lee Ha Eung in order to gain more power.

The only reason Kim Kyung Tak was trying so hard to impress Byung Hee was simply because he was Kim Kyung Tak's biological father. Kim Kyung Tak grew up without a father and was dearly longing for his father's love and acceptance.

JYJ Kim Jae Joong Delivers His Donated Rice Wreaths to Neglected Children

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong delivered 15.68 tons worth of rice wreaths to 50 children.

On July 16, Dreame, the company that hosts Dreame rice wreath donations, sent an official to the Korea Association of the Community Child Center (KACCC) to represent Kim Jae Joong and deliver the rice wreaths.

Out of the 23.68 tons of rice wreaths in total donated to support Kim Jae Joong at his Dr. Jin press conference, 8 tons had been sent off in June, and the remaining 15.68 tons were put to use this day.

65151667.jpg

In total, Kim Jae Joong donated 31 tons of rice wreaths, including 7 tons for his SBS drama Protect the Boss and the 23.68 tons for Dr. Jin.

Since October 2011, Kim Jae Joong had already been delivering 20kg each to 29 children every month with the 7 tons donated at the Protect the Boss press conference.

The additional rice donated for Dr. Jin will support a total of 50 children—the original 29 along with another 21 children—over 17 months with 20kg every month.

The children were chosen by KACCC after it received recommendations from 2,000 community child centers across the country. The final recipients were said to be in the most unfortunate circumstances among the 141 recommended children.

Shin Mi Hye, secretary general of KACCC, said, “Out of the 2.4 million neglected children in the country, only 100,000 receive care from their community child centers. We hope Kim Jae Joong and his fans’ good deeds will help draw national interest to neglected children.”

In the meantime Kim Jae Joong is currently appearing in MBC’s Dr. Jin as officer Kim Kyung Tak.

(News) JYJ JaeJoong's Evolution, "From a handsome guy to a real actor"!

fbiz36.jpg

In the broadcast of MBC’s weekend drama ‘Dr Jin’ on the 15th, it relayed the scene of the acceptance of the illegitimate son Kim Kyung Tak (Kim Jaejoong) by Kim Byung Hee (Kim In Soo).
In that scene, Kyung Tak heard that Prince Heung Seon survived his shot and thus decided to take his own life, thus pleaded with Kim Byung Hee to kill him when he arrived. Kim Byung Hee asked, “You wish to be killed by my hands? Don’t you wish to live on?”, recalling his encounter with Kyung Tak when he was young.
Then, Kim Byung Hee asked Kyung Tak, “The work from now on is going to be much more. You will not make mistakes like before, don’t you?” Teary-eyed Kyung Tak replied, “No, Your Excellency.” To which, Kim Byung Hee said, “Call me father! This father will give you another chance, how about it?” Due to his lowly status, Kyung Tak has not been able to call his father as ‘father’ and brother as ‘brother’. He finally managed to call out to Kim Byung Hee, “Yes, father.”, At this time, he broke down. The perfect acting by Jaejoong in this scene, where he drooled while sobbing, touched many viewers.
Not at all worrying about his image, and deeply blended in with his character, Jaejoong’s passionate portrayal shocked many viewers. From the grieving tears, he has left his ‘handsome guy’ image behind and at that moment, he is not the idol singer on stage but the Jaejoong who showed his presence as an actor. Even within the various veteran actors, he revealed indifference to them and his own style of acting.
It has been almost 3 years that Jaejoong has been acting. Do continue to keep an eye on the growing process of Jaejoong who is accumulating experiences pragmatically and constantly studying the way of acting.

class="articletitle"JYJ Yoochun, Junsu, Jaejoong, Not Just Idols But Real Actors

24370.jpg

JYJ Yuchun, Junsu, Jaejoong are growing rapidly as actors.

JYJ Yuchun, Junsu, Jaejoong are grand idol stars with fandoms all over countries. It's hard for them to appear on a TV program, but releasing albums and holding concerts in order to frequently meeting with fans.

And now, these guys are starting to expand to drama, musical, movies and other areas. There were some biased opinions regarding their idol occupation. Some people looked at them negatively, saying that they were in leading roles without proving their worth. But in 2012, assessments about JYJ members have completely changed. Now JYJ members can confidently add their titles with actors and musical actors.

(skipped unrelated....)

24373.jpg

Kim Jaejoong started his career as an actor in SBS "Protect the Boss" last year. And right now, he is acting in MBC "Dr. Jin" as Officer Kim Kyungtak. Kim Kyungtak is a tragic person who is a bastard and is abandoned by his lover.

When Kim Jaejoong has first announced his acting career in a historical drama, people weren't too happy about it. They said in order to be in a historical drama, one has to master historical tone and action as well and for Kim Jaejoong, it might have been too early for him. But when Kim Jaejoong in 'Dr. Jin' was first showed, he showed much matured performing.

Unlike his rigid form in the beginning, now Kim Jaejoong has completely mixed into his role, Kim Kyungtak. Kim Jaejoong perfectly performed Kim Kyungtak's longing for his father and lover.

In particular, Kim Jaejoong showed his cynical smile to his best friend and performed emptied face while reminiscing. When he kneeled in front of his father and asking to kill him, Kim Jaejoong cried deeply and dearly. Kim Jaejoong's devoted acting made audiences feel sympathy for him.

Kim Jaejoong will also participate in the movie "Jackal is Coming," following "Dr. Jin." Kim Jaejoong's another transformation is highly expected because of his successful roles in "Protect the boss," and "Dr. Jin."

***JaeJoong was really good in “Protect the Boss” but I don't think historical roles fit him as much. Seriously, I was expecting more when I saw “Dr.Jin”. But Jaejoong has improved so much ever since that drama. It’s just that improvement doesn't equal best actor for me. I don't see why people think the best actor/actress is an opinion. As a fan of K-dramas, it's really exciting to discover a good actor with wonderful future ahead.

SB Midyear Wrap-up: Best Actor/Actress

Now that we’ve gotten your choices for best in music so far, let’s turn our attention to the drama landscape. To be completely honest, I think 2012 so far has been one of the most lackluster years in K-dramas I’ve seen in years, which is disappointing. There were a couple of standouts so far (Queen In-hyun’s Man, King 2 Hearts, Shut Up Flower Boy Band) but the year has mostly churned out disappointing and overhyped dramas.

But with that said, who are your choices for best actor and actress so far?

class="blog_h2 entry-title"JYJ’s Jae Joong says, “I feel bad for Kyung Tak that he’s trying so hard to find a reason to live”

637.jpg

What is the reason for Kyung Tak (played by JYJ’s Jae Joong) to live in MBC TV’s drama series Doctor Jin?

Even though he was the child of a concubine, he’s royal to his father Kim Byung Hee (played by Kim Eung Soo) and his family. He also tries hard to live happily with his lover, whom he has loved for twenty years, and his best friend.

However, his father only uses him, his lover Young Rae (played by Park Min Young) doesn’t love him, and his only friend Young Hwi (played by Jin Yi Han) betrays him as he becomes a leader of a secret society.

In the 16th episode, Kyung Tak tries to kill himself, being unable to overcome the sad situations he’s facing, but he fails because of Young Rae. After that, he becomes cold-hearted. In the 17th and 18th episode, he becomes a double spy between his father and Lee Ha Eung (played by Lee Bum Soo) to help his father.

Kyung Tak asks Young Rae when he fails to kill himself, “Tell me a reason why I have to live.” It seems like he has gotten an answer for that. He has chosen his father for now. He feels like he has lost everything, but it seems like he has chosen his father as a reason to live and becomes his secret weapon because his father is the only person who acknowledges him.

Viewers reacted: “I feel bad for Kyung Tak that he’s trying to find a reason to live in such a way.” “I hate all people who are just using Kyung Tak.” “What is the writer’s intention?”

Jae Joong says, “Actually Kyung Tak has lost all reasons to live. Because he has nowhere to go, he’s trying to find a reason to live from his father who used to call him a starved dog. I feel sorry for him.”

There are only four more episodes for Doctor Jin. Playing an important role between Kim Byung Hee and Lee Ha Eung, Kyung Tak’s yet-to-be-made final decision is attracting many viewers’ attention.

SBS TV’s Protect the Boss, which stars JYJ’s Jae Joong, is currently very popular in Japan.
Protect the Boss, which aired in Korea last summer, is currently airing on TBS, the biggest private TV channel in Japan. The series attracted a lot of attention when it was once introduced on KNTV and DATV, paid satellite channels in Japan. A special DVD of the series, which will be released on November 28, also topped the DVD chart of the HMV Chart, the Amazon Chart, and the Rakuten Chart in Japan.

    339.jpg

The reason for the DVD’s high popularity is Jae Joong’s Korean narration in the DVD. Jae Joong explains how important scenes were shot, tells behind-the-scenes stories about the shooting of the series, and introduces special scenes of himself singing and acting for about 180 to 240 minutes.
People responded: “Jae Joong’s really popular in Japan.” “I’m curious about Jae Joong’s special DVD. I want to have it!” “I wish the DVD gets released in Korea, too! I envy Japanese fans.” “I should reserve the DVD immediately. I wish it sells a lot.”

class="blog_h2 entry-title"The ending of Doctor Jin will depend on Jae Joong (of JYJ)’s decision

442.jpg

Viewers of Doctor Jin are now paying attention to the decision Jae Joong will make in the last episode.

In MBC TV’s drama series Doctor Jin, Kyung Tak (played by Jae Joong) has reached a crossroad where he has to decide to choose his family or his love and friendship.

In the 18th episode, which aired on July 22, Kyung Tak becomes a double spy to protect his father Byung Hee (played by Kim Eung Soo). However, after getting advice from his best friend Young Hwi (played by Jin Yi Han) and finding out that his old lover Young Rae (played by Park Min Young) is facing death because of the religious persecution of Catholicism, he also tries to save both.

A spokesperson for the series says, “Kyung Tak is the most important person for Ha Eung and Byung Hee who are in confrontation with each other, and he’s also a person who has no political ambitions.”

Viewers reacted: “I feel so sad because of Kyung Tak. He’s just being used by everyone.” “I think Doctor Jin needs to cure Kyung Tak’s confused mind first.” “I want to go back to the past to save Kyung Tak.” “All Kyung Tak needs is someone’s sincere love. I’m so sad.”

The spokesperson also says, “What’s really attractive about this series is that viewers can imagine what would happen if they could change the history or what decision they would make if they were in the old days. Because the viewers can feel the concerns and pain of the time by watching Kyung Tak’s confusing situations, they’re immersed in Kyung Tak’s emotion.”
