When I saw her hair during the reading I got a bit worried that she will be sporting that hairstyle in the drama, so it was a relief to see those photos of the first shooting day.

According to papers, "When It's At Night" will be a romantic comedy.

Shows being aired on the same timeslot will be "Strongest Chil-woo" (KBS 2TV) and "Gourmet" (SBS).

“오~호 깜짝 속았네.... 일본 사람 아니었어요?”

오는 6월 16일 [이산]후속으로 방영될 MBC 월화극 [밤이면 밤마다]의 히로인 김선아가 생애 첫 기모노 입기에 도전했다.

김선아는 7일부터 일본 전통의 숨결이 살아있는 고도 이시카와 현 가나자와 시 일대에서 촬영중인 [밤이면 밤마다]의 현지 로케이션에 참여하면서 붉은 색 기모노를 입는데 도전했다.

일본 도쿄인근에서 중고등학교를 보내면서 일본어와 일본 문화에 능통한 김선아는 7일 현지에 도착해서부터 수려한 일본어를 선보여 스태프를 감탄시켰는데 학창시절에도 입어보지 않았던 기모노를 처음으로 입는 첫 경험을 하게됐다.

극중 도굴꾼 아버지를 둔 가슴에 한을 품은 열혈 애국 문화재 단속반원 허초희 역을 맡은 김선아는 일본에 밀수된 한국의 국보급 문화재를 환수하기 위해 밀수조직을 소탕하러 일본에 오게 된다.

밀수꾼 김 상(김병옥)을 체포하기 위해 일본 사교계와 문화재 비밀 거래의 주범인 여자 스즈키 하나코로 위장한 김선아는 기모노를 입고 다나카 상을 만나기 위해 위장하는 잠복근무를 수행한다.

촬영기간 내내 기모노를 입고 하나코로 위장하는 김선아는 하루종일 초여름 더위속에 온몸을 단단히 동여매고 아장아장 걷게 만드는 게다를 신고 연기하느라 두배의 노력을 기울이고 있다.

김선아는 “일본에서 학창시절을 보낼때도 입어보지 못한 기모노를 제대로 갖춰입을 줄 몰랐다”면서 “역시 쉽지 않은 옷”이라고 혀를 내둘렀다.

고 미술사 교수이자 재벌의 문화재 밀수에 도움을 주고자 일본에 온 김범상(이동건)과 함께 촬영을 하는 김선아는 촬영장에 모여든 일본 팬들로부터 ‘정말 일본 여성 같다’는 착각을 불러일으킬 정도로 완벽한 변신의 평을 이끌어냈다. 촬영장을 찾은 일본 팬들은 “김선아 씨는 어디 있느냐”면서 두리번 거렸을 정도.

김선아는 심지어 극중 일본어를 구사하기 때문에 사람들이 초반에 알아보지 못하는 효과를 불러 일으키기도 했다. 역시 전통 의상인 유타카(전통 의상)도 입게 된 김선아는 완벽한 현지화 전략에 일단 시청자들에 앞서 촬영장에서부터 성공을 거두고 있다.

I told her i didnt realize it was fun following a drama (and a movie for that matter - girlscout) while it is still yet to be shown. I've been a fan of Suna after MNIKSS was shown. She didn't have any projects after that, so i just track down and get old information and do some research and backtracking on forums.

But it's a totally new experience hunting down new infos and pictures and goodies!
