I went shopping and ate at an In & out Burger. A young girl in line was wearing a black t-shirt with a Kaonashi face on it. I would have never have known what it was except for DoYeon loving them.

Since I watch Hello Counselor and TaeJoon is on it, the other MC's are always trying to pair him up with young ladies. Even MBC will use him by having the title of a short clip as "TaeJoon asks idol singer out to a movie". All it is, is him play acting for a participant on how to ask a lady out. But they like to make it that he is really asking her to go out. I don't know what is going on in his private life, but he looks happy and relaxed. Lots of eye smiling. 

Do you think the picture that DoYeon uploaded, is a view from that 3 story building she is having an event at ? 

I wonder how the regular panel, especially MiSun is feeling about the "cancelation" I don't know what I can replace this with. I just watch random things and WGM is the only consistent one (besides Return of Superman and Hello Counselor)

Actually me too, wouldn't have known the movie itself if it wasn't mentioned by doyeon. Now I mimic the kaonashi's only signature 'oh' hahaha

Yes! As soon as she uploaded it, I know it was at that building. I searched Gukhwa on Google maps and found those beautiful scenery!

I was also confused for a bit. Well I think it was for them to give their comments on their last filming on the studio itself? It was weird cause it's the first it happen (as long as I know) in ending a season. I'm excited for it however it also makes me sad ughhh

Just when you're beginning to get used to the Island Couple and bam!!!  they're gone!!  When I first learned of their participation in WGM, I mentioned I won't watch because it would be like a replica of Gag Concert.  But out of curiosity,   I watched the first episode and they surprised me - and they were both surprised at each other.

Well, I thought it would be the young couple to go first but seems like the prods are still buying some time for them just in case they gain more fans. 

On a side note, looks like the other half of the young couple couldn't wait for their stint to get done - there was already a rumor spreading that she is dating another idol - Gong Chan of BiA4.    A repeat of KSE incident?  I had this in mind on her first appearance - true or not - I don't care!!

So, peeps - where are we going to meet each other next?

This is the last thread I've been posting on. No shipper thread for me to spazz on either. Oh well.

Since this may be the last season for a while, I'll just post some more on the island couple. I like watching several times because when the subs come out, you focus on the words and miss some of the interactions. I still don't get what she was saying when he walked around calling Dear sun. What he was saying, sounded different than her reply but they translated it the same which was Dear Sun. So he was repeating Dear Sun and she replied DEAR SUN?  ??? another mystery.

When this couple started out, I thought he was going to be stiff and serious all the time. But he is just shy and nervous. DoYeon makes light of everything tho and so he became relaxed and can joke with her. Several times I got the feeling that DoYeon was taking care of him like a person who recognizes his tender side. The episode where they went around handing out rice cakes, they ran into the older lady that teased him. DoYeon played into that for fun but in this episode, she was aware that MinYong was getting down over being teased once again for it. She is an observant person (helps when you want to turn things into a funny skit) and started defending him from the lady (who probably was just trying to be funny - not much goes on in this island that is new so this was pretty exciting for everyone) He was already defensive when they sat down to do the fish. When they were wrapping up the dried fish, he was happy. Until the lady came in while he was talking about the extra sheet of fish. Then he immediately had to defend himself and that started to shut him down. DoYeon spoke up for him again. MinYong went further away from the lady, grumbling about how DoYeon didn't say it loud enough. I think he was feeling the whole island was probably talking bad about him and how he didn't take care of his wife. So she did the best thing by going out to the door and yelling out that he had cooked for her. Hahaha that just broke the grumpy spell he had going and made him laugh. Everything was good then.

Hahaha he took her teasing over the Dear Sun mistake well. I guess he did feel it was a mistake he shouldn't have made. He was so cute when he told her that she could have an extra "raisin" in her tea. It was a little different feeling when after they discussed making jeon, she wanted to get his permission to draw. Up until then, it was all about the husband setting out what they would be doing. I didn't really realize that until she formally asked to draw instead of cook. I love her fearless drawing, knowing it wasn't as good as she would hope it to be but wanting to express herself. I love how he brought out the burner to cook outside with her. I think he was copying her because she often followed him out whenever he went. Certainly the heart jeon was a gesture towards her unfailing desire to show hearts.

Hilarious poem. Was it all about just doing a fun poem or was it a hidden message for MinYong? Hahaha he had a great joke answer about the meaning "she wants me to fry her"

The radio request time. They were both excited like kids to have their message read. They were both disappointed like kids when the song they requested didn't get played.

Preview. MinYong wearing sunglasses so he can look without being seen to look. It's his protection so he can guard his response. The whole string event will make him shy.

@colourgrae- thank  you for sharing with us your observations and thoughts on those we missed.  I can only sigh - we won't see the shy smile on MinYoung and the shy grin on DoYeon.  I didn't actually pay much attention on DoYeon in the show I Can  See Your Voice - I just found her to be a bit loud in that show but seeing her in WGM made me see a different side of her.

@colourgrae Also agree with you that my first impression of CMY was that he was stiff and he grandly grow on me.  

CMY & JDY shows a more mature and newlywed vibe. Reminds me of an arrange marriage and falling in love at first sight with shy attitude. They were willing to learn and adapt from each other with sincere feeling. It's been awhile since I've last seen a couple on WGM who has a chemistry that doesn't seem force from both partners.

Always been a fan of WGM since day one. Just when I was falling in love with the new Island couple. GM & JHS are more of a dating stage with all the puppy love and flirting. JHS is very bubbly and shows a lot of affection to GM.

Sleepy & LGJ are more of the friend zone or old married couple that doesn’t show any skinship.

For sure I will miss WGM and I hope they will come back with better concept and pairing couples.

It was because "haenim" wasn't doyeon's callsign, should be "kkotnim" (dear flower). Thus when minyong is calling her using haenim, she didn't respond eagerly but answered in a question tone "haenim".  And the rest was a cute shy minyong hahaha. 
Also when they're peeling the sweet potato, they both peel it and then give to each other with ofc doyeon having the bigger ones. 

And my take on the teaser:

I really noticed that red string on doyeon's feet and also how long she needs to use when minyong is following it. I don't really want to put a big meaning behind it. But I guess doyeon got the inspiration for it on the movie "Your Name". She even mentioned it on ep 6. I'm pretty sure that doyeon will notice his sunglasses though lol just like the first meeting

The red string reminds of the T-drama I recently re-watched - Mike He's Sunny Happiness.  He put the red string on his 'fake wife' Janine Chang - they ended up being together at the end.

It seems like no one noticed the underrated (lol) nickname for the Island couple. It's the 6th choice after "eo-i". That's the word "geo-in" or "giant". Hahaha

I got around to watching Sleepy and GJ. To me it seems like Sleepy's energy level has been steadily dropping. The last few episodes left me with the impression that he was getting quiet and not joking around much. I felt sorry for him on the honeymoon trip because just looking at the bags under his eyes, made me feel tired. So whatever is going on off the show, seems to be kind of stressful or tiring for him. I wish he could have just climbed into bed and slept a day cause doing an amusement park in that condition couldn't have been much fun. GJ was the only one that was hyped over it (or at least was acting like it) and tried to make it fun. I think there was about two times that he put his hand to her back to sort of escort her. Otherwise, there wasn't much else going on in the romance section.

Hahha I didn't watch the candy couple but I got a What? reaction when I saw Soompi had an article on them. The What? came from the title "She has him wrapped around her finger" (sorry can't remember their names) Like it was news. I think that was obvious from early on and only now is Soompi noticing? Actually my mental image of them is her, with him as a cute little charm on her bracelet. 

I think the news of WGM ending has put a damper on the viewers, at least on the site I watch the english subs on. Comments for the 3 couples is just below 30 when sometimes it was over 60 (?) at the peak. I guess sadness and the feeling of needing to find something else to watch has made a dent.

Hoping not...but got a suspicion that with filming ended nearly 3 weeks b4 last ep on 6 may...is there footage for that day? So if none...then this coming sat is their last appearance...and next sat is just the host and studio guests talking about past couples with old footage....a way to end everything.

One thing about the article that mention the 3may filming never mention the couples' names (mentioned in one previous post so wont repeat link)..only did mention the main female host. While another article said like mid apr is the couples' last filming. So unless the couples are invited for a special filming in the studio...then i fear the worst.

For the next show...confirmed another show Oppa's Thoughts will take over on 20 may...mmm...meaning one week gap?

All these dating rumor has really dampen everyone's mood, including mine. It's like they're trying to ruin her reputation and make her look like she's "easy", because she has a lot of guy friends; what's wrong with having guy friends. Someone actually said it's not that hard to believe that she has another dating rumor with another guy, wth is that suppose to mean.  I just want people who are judging her to really think about this. They said both of them had been dating before she started WGM, a sane and self respecting person that is in a relationship with someone else would not demand to do a show like this with another guy. I would believe it if they just started dating, but they allegedly started dating before wgm. These rumors with Hyesung and other guys is really tainting her image, and she doesn't deserve this. 

... And what's with wgm cutting gm&hs scenes when they're trying to get close, the cutting doesn't even make sense, there was no transition that even match the next scene
