  2. Kang Ji-hwan creates a Joseon Survival Guide in TV Chosun’s action comedy by Tipsymocha This looks super wacky, which I’m hoping is a good thing at the end of the day. TV Chosun has a new drama on the way called Joseon Survival Guide, which has released a teaser featuring Kang Ji-hwan (Happy to Die), Song Won-seok (Switch), Kyung Su-jin (Meloholic), Park Se-wan (Dance Sports Girls), and Lee Jae-yoon (Mother). I love Kang Ji-hwan in comedy, and I hope this show gives him some good material to work with. In Joseon Survival Guide, Kang Ji-hwan plays a former archer who used to be a member of the national team, but for some reason is now working as a delivery man. His character finds himself flown into the Joseon period, where he encounters Song Won-seok’s character, who is treated like he’s less than human in his era. Together, they will achieve “miracles” in the action comedy, though it’s not clear what that means precisely. While Kang Ji-hwan is the one to time-travel into the past in the show, in the teaser, he’s the one dressed in Joseon garb while Song Won-seok looks sleek in a suit and sunglasses. Their posse confronts a group of armed soldiers in the lobby of a modern office building and start fighting, not knowing that they’re being watched by Lee Jae-yoon through multiple cameras. He strikes a menacing pose, though it would be more intimidating if he weren’t sipping what looks like a glass of orange juice. Kyung Su-jin and Park Se-wan, both sporting hanbok, sit behind him. From her outfit, it looks like Kyung Su-jin will be playing a nurse in Joseon, and she asks Lee Jae-yoon in exasperation how long they have to keep watching “this show.” Lee Jae-yoon responds that it’ll be over soon, though it might not be in his favor, seeing as how Kang Ji-hwan’s made it all the way up the elevator. Joseon Survival Guide is directed by PD Jang Yong-woo, whose credits include JTBC’s D-Day. Writing is Kim Sol-ji, who also wrote JTBC’s Syndrome and MBC’s Heading to the Ground. These credits don’t exactly inspire a whole lot of confidence, but maybe they’ll surprise us here. I sincerely hope so, because time-travel lends itself so well to comedy. TV Chosun’s Joseon Survival Guide will premiere on June 8. source : dramabeans

  4. Love the post, @liddi. I also like how most characters aren't perfect even in Seon Ho's family. I know people don't like to see crying and yelling characters, but really they're just trying to depict a range of emotions and personalities. I personally don't like the actress' voice but that's superficial. I think I can still real life people being like her and while I may be different from her I'm also different from Moo Jin, so I can't judge them. In fact I feel that maybe In Ha isn't very tactful, but that's a much lesser "offense" because her intentions are good. I feel sorry for people who get disliked in real life simply because of not being tactful. Contrast that to primp and proper Eun Joo who lies through her teeth with her outward pleasantness, I'd take an In Ha anyday as my friend, someone I don't have to try to gauge and measure and who is what she shows me. As for Seon Ho not confiding in his family, he tried to approach Moo Jin a few times but Moo Jin didn't pick up on it. That was before the Da Hee situation, just the bullying because of protecting Dong Hee. On the day he heard Da Hee's accusation which led to the rooftop confrontation, he called Moo Jin but Moo Jin never called back. And I suppose it's hard to share such a thing about someone else (sexual assault) so he went to confront Joon Seok to find out. As for why Seon Ho didn't trust Joon Seok, you can call that his imperfection in some way especially if he was actually wrong (though it's hard not to believe the victim). But mainly Joon Seok has been mean spirited against Dong Hee and manipulated others to bully Seon Ho for it, so it was that much harder for him to put some trust in Joon Seok in that moment. His parents not trusting him though is another ordeal entirely.
  5. even fully covered.. you can notice his 6 pack abs.. im kinda jealous of PMY that she gets to be on top of those or run her hands on those abs..
  6. I know this is a bit unrelated but I was watching ep 12 of Her Private Life (the onew that replaced TYH) when suddenly during the bar scene where the characters with unrequited love to the main couple were drinking, Make it Count was playing in the background! It made me giddy that traces of TYH could still be found anywhere.
  7. Thanks @immorethant !! Wow this is Daebak news. Almost wouldn't believe it if I didn't read it myself. For those unfamiliar, LMS is THE ballad king of South Korea, a true heavyweight. He's in his 50's but even now is popular among younger generation due to younger artists still doing his songs, like IU, or Kang Ha-Neul having covered his song in Monstar mnet music drama few years ago. This is another sign that KBS is 'all in' on this game, sparing nothing to promote this drama. This drama will have a VERY WIDE appeal across all ages. Just LMS name alone has the audiences in their 40's thru 50's covered. I can't be happier!

  14. I trust the writer right now not to do so. RG can't just wake up and go, "mummy, you abandoned me but I forgive you". It's not easy like that. If he does forgive her, it has to be a very Good reason why he did that.
  15. Thank you for posting all the zootopia characters for our LaBit couple!! It really reminded me of zootopia when I was watching them. Another heart fluttering moments for us. Does anyone notice that Ryan/KJW has a habit of stroking PMY/Deok Mi's hands, I have been noticing this on Episode 6. Other than the wrist kiss, I think this is another heart fluttering moment in my opinion. I really wonder why KJW's hands, neck and ears are always so red~
