I saw her in that too. I was impressed by the fact that she looked enough like RSY that they could have been related. Then recently I saw her in "Terms of Endearment", a pretty depressing drama, where she's part of one of the comedy teams. The English subs were very bad, but she played the airheaded immature aunt of Song Il Gook's character. She was so cute and funny! Very different part from the other two, and she carried it off perfectly!

Just reviewed episodes 1 through 5 of the series. They spend a lot of time on the childhood period of the principals but it does tell a lot about where they all came from and sets things up for the rest of the story.

No,I don't think it fell on her, but there was hot liquid metal being spilled and scattered around.

I remember reading a novel once that included descriptions of work in a metal foundry and it's just that the molten metal is so hot that even if a little splashes on you, you can die of shock if not treated quickly and properly (a common thing with severe burns) or if you survive, there is extensive and disabling damage. I think it was a case of the former.

It's really sad, like that one incident started a terrible chain of events that blighted a lot of lives.

It was interesting how young Dong Woo looked a little sick when Lord Yi told him he would marry Suk Kyung, then he accepted it in a filial fashion. Got a bit of a kick out of Oh Chul Hyung's cold reception of Oon Hyuk in Seoul.

A question on ep09, did Dong Woo and Oon Hyuk go to the same schools from high school to university?

Btw, I just finished watching ep10, not ep11. It's the saddest episode I've seen so far. So many deaths, blows and arrests. So heartbreaking for the families of Oon Hyuk and Ke Hee...can't help but shed some tears

--I like the little sister of Oon Hyuk. So outspoken and smart. She's a brave little girl who will not stop until she speaks whats in her heart.

--Mari, the youngest sister of Ke Hee is such a good crier!

--Poor Oon Hyuk was dragged into the mess that Dong-Gi was in. If it were not for Suk-Kyung, he wouldn't have known about the strike. I feel so sorry for his family who have never even tasted the fruit of Oon Hyuk's hardships.

__Park Chang-Jul! He beat up Oon Hyuk out of jealousy! Ggrrrr...our poor Oon Hyuk...

--Aaarrrggghhh! Hate Suk-Kyung! If it were not for her, Ke Hee's two sisters

wouldn't have died.

--And Baron Moon! How could he do that to his former loyal assistant and childhood friend? He even didn't sent the poor dad of Ke Hee to a better hospital. Didn't even bother to help out in the expenses!

But do you think Oon Hyuk would get involve in the strike willingly? He had a family to protect so he really didn't want to 'join' mentor Dong-Gi, right? Did he do what he did because he felt obliged to return the favor?

'kehee iisn't as pretty as suk-yung'? No comment on that (at the moment). But having watched a few of Han Eun Jung's work, (SSBG, WL and FH), Kehee is the prettiest. IMO

Apart from the fact that Moon Dong Gi was Oon Hyuk's teacher (which would have been debt enough by itself) remember that Dong Gi bargained with his very angry brother to get young Oon Hyuk out of jail where they were trying to beat him to death. Then Dong Gi gave him a place to live and study in Seoul. (ep 6) All after Oon Hyuk had stabbed him the night of the foundry disaster/party. I think Oon Hyuk felt that he owed Dong Gi tremendously and that it was up to him this time to save his sun saeng nim.

It doesn't look like Ke Hee got to wear a single smudge of makeup during this series, so that could account for the difference between her looks and Suk Kyoung's. As the story goes on, there's more emphasis on comparing beauty of character in these two women.

I'm gonna watch epi 7 today and maybe 8 if I get around to it........
