You know, I feel sorry for Soon Young. He was the real victim in all of this. He was treated as a mere housekeeper by his wife while he was married to her. She was mostly married to her job. She kept him in the dark about her mental issues (a huge disservice to him and could be seen as fraud). At the same time, he was doing everything at home while raising someone else’s child.

And maybe a character whom we thought was benign all the while. Unfortunately for his fans, I don’t see him being resurrected. If as his twin, he would be a baddie.

On the previous episode of “My Happy Ending,” Seo Jae Won attempted to exact revenge on Kwon Yoon Jin (So Yi Hyun) and her father Kwon Young Ik (Kim Myung Soo). At the very end of the episode, Kwon Young Ik appeared before the captive Seo Jae Won, revealing that he was the culprit responsible for her kidnapping.

 

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Seo Jae Won and Kwon Yoon Jin face off in a visibly tense encounter. When Kwon Yoon Jin unexpectedly shows up with a gift, Seo Jae Won is unable to hide her shock and disbelief at the other woman’s shamelessness. As the startled Seo Jae Won stares at her in amazement, Kwon Yoon Jin is initially all smiles as she greets her with a chillingly cheerful expression.

 

However, when Seo Jae Won doesn’t react to her gift, Kwon Yoo Jin hurls some harsh words her way. Meanwhile, Seo Jae Won maintains her composure and suppresses her rage instead of rising to the bait.

Love the scene between Teo, JW and her imaginary friend.. the BGM was beautiful.

Nam seemed to know a lot about JW and YJ. Did he kill the guy or was it YJ ‘s henchman? It could be herself who killed him, she was there in the last scene.

TV Chosun’s “My Happy Ending” has shared new stills of the upcoming episode!

“My Happy Ending” is a psychological thriller about a woman who faces a shocking truth after being betrayed by those she trusted. Jang Nara stars as the fiercely ambitious Seo Jae Won, a self-made furniture company CEO and influencer who has been passionately chasing success after enduring an unfortunate childhood.

Previously, the episode ended with Baek Seung Gyu (Oh Hyun Joong), who could testify against Kwon Yoon Jin (So Yi Hyun), being carried out of the house dead. Furthermore, following behind him was Kwon Yoon Jin, who was covered in blood and shaking from shock, creating an unexpected ending with Seo Jae Won watching the entire scene unfold.

The newly released stills of the upcoming episode depict the dramatic encounter between Seo Jae Won and her stepfather Seo Chang Seok (Kim Hong Fa) at a visitation room in prison. When Seo Chang Seok enters the room, Seo Jae Won gets emotional but tries to appear calm on the outside. Seo Chang Seok remains calm as he sends a warm gaze to Seo Jae Won.

With a determined and firm expression, Seo Jae Won conveys meaningful words to Seo Chang Seok, but Seo Chang Seok only smiles calmly in return. Viewers are curious to find out what information Seo Jae Won conveyed to Seo Chang Seok and how they will overcome their next crisis.

 

With calm and serious attitudes, Jang Nara and Kim Hong Fa filmed this impactful scene using great acting skills to portray their characters’ emotions. The production team shared, “Jang Nara and Kim Hong Fa brought to life the fine emotions between father and daughter through delicate changes in just their expressions and gazes,” asking viewers to stay tuned to find out if Kwon Yoon Jin will begin her counterattack against Seo Jae Won and Seo Chang Seok.

I read somewhere that Son Ho Jun had commented that Jang Nara's character will truly have a happy ending. I was left wondering what that could mean...?

 

Also, I didn't watch ep 13 (ok, so I FFed it like with supersonic speed - the whole episode done in about 2 mins ). Am seeing people commenting online that they still believe that Soon Young is alive. Am at a loss why they would say that?

I remember seeing JW looking at his dead body, wrapped up except for the face. It was a dead man’s face. That’s  why I am sure he’s dead. It’s not a daily so I don’t think they are going to resurrect him and say he pretended to be dead to capture YJ’s father.

Just interesting to see people writing online that there are hints her husband isn't dead? Not sure if it's wishful thinking?

 

Only way I can see this happening is by Jae Won waking up and learning that it has all been just a bad dream / her hallucinations (because no one here can convince me that she's not schizophrenic - especially since she keeps seeing that imaginary psychiatrist of hers).

 

Maybe they will go the Dallas route with Soon Young suddenly stepping out of the shower?

Pamela discovering that her husband Bobby is alive after having being dead a FULL SEASON and that it's all been a bad dream.
