MBC’s upcoming drama “The Forbidden Marriage” has shared a new sneak peek of Kim Woo Seok’s romantic character!

 

Based on the web novel of the same name, “The Forbidden Marriage” will star Kim Young Dae as King Yi Heon, who falls deep into despair after the death of his wife and ends up prohibiting marriage in his kingdom. Seven years after the loss of his wife (played by IZ*ONE‘s Kim Min Ju), who was then the crown princess, he comes across a con artist named So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) who claims that she can be possessed by the late princess’s spirit.

 

Kim Woo Seok will be starring in the drama as Lee Shin Won, an Uigeumbu officer who seems to have it all, from looks to brains to background. As both King Yi Heon’s subject and his longtime friend, the trusty Lee Shin Won protects his sovereign with his exceptional martial arts skills and his admirable loyalty.

 

However, even though Lee Shin Won appears to have everything going for him on the surface, he is actually a lonely soul suffering from his own pain. Tormented by an unrequited love, Lee Shin Won will tug at viewers’ heartstrings with his sorrowful story of one-sided devotion.

The Forbidden Marriage” has shared a preview of the delightful chemistry between Park Ju Hyun and Choi Duk Moon!

 

Based on the web novel of the same name, “The Forbidden Marriage” stars Kim Young Dae as King Yi Heon, who falls deep into despair after the death of his wife and ends up prohibiting marriage in his kingdom. Seven years after the loss of his wife (played by IZ*ONE’s Kim Min Ju), who was then the crown princess, he comes across a con artist named So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) who claims that she can be possessed by the late princess’ spirit.

 

In the premiere episode, So Rang teams up with Gwaeng Yi (Choi Duk Moon) to set up “Aedaldang,” a tea house where the two will give advice to young men and women on love. With So Rang’s way with words and Gwaeng Yi’s magical spirit, Aedaldang will turn Hanyang, the capital city of the Joseon dynasty, upside down.

 

In the released stills, So Rang’s eloquence and charming talks have already proven successful in capturing those who came to receive her love advice. With a fiery spirit in her eyes, she excitedly hands out pamphlets promoting Aedaldang and directs guests to different rooms with a bright smile.

the drama is so hilarious...   :D

I dont like the love triangle...Shiwon has be in love with Sorang for a long time. 

But its clear that she isnt in love with him. Their engagement is just a nostalgic memory for her.

 

I wonder if she and the crown princess are somehow related.  :unsure:

Loved the ''A Thousand and One Nights'' scene between the King and Sorang.

He listened carefully to her stories but the end of each story was the same. 

The ''Goblin'' story and the ''Hotel del Luna '' story...   :lol:
