LEE MIN-HO, SHARE PHOTOS OF NEAREST K-DRAMA "PACHINKO"

Korean actor Lee Min Ho shared photos after filming for his new Korean drama, Patchinko. The Hallyu star posted a photo of the set, including her hoodie selfie, on her Instagram account on Sunday (April 11). The caption reads "The last day."

The drama series was filmed in Korea, Japan and North America. Since February, the entire cast and crew have been in Vancouver, Canada for filming after scenes in Korea were filmed last year.

"Pachinko" is based on the novel of the same name by Min Jin-Lee. According to Publisher's Weekly's description of the novel, Pachinko is an epic and historical story about a Korean family who moved to Japan.

“This is a character-driven story that features a large ensemble of characters who have been victims of racism and stereotyping, among other events that have historical origins in the Korean experience with Japan in the 20th century,” adds Publisher's Weekly.

Lee Min Ho spoke about his role in the series in the February issue of GQ Korea. He was asked if his audition was a guarantee that he had already gotten the part.

"Not at all. Since I auditioned (for the role), more than ten years have passed, but since then the situation has changed," the actor replied.

He will play the character Hansu, a wealthy merchant with ties to the yakuza.

“I thought it would be so embarrassing if I failed the audition, so I was determined to get the part. I worked very hard to get ready for the audition, ”he said.

Lee Min Ho was first identified as Goo Joon Pyo in the teenage romance drama Boys Without Flowers.

Lee Min Ho gives adorable salute to Canada after filming Apple TV+ series ‘Pachinko’

spacer.png

Lee Min Ho recently shared some scenes after shooting his Apple TV+ original series ‘Pachinko’ in Vancouver, Canada

In his post, which has been liked by over three million fans, the Korean actor shared the breathtaking view of the snow in Vancouver. He also took a snap of himself while planting flags of Korea and Canada in the snow.

In the caption, he simply thanked the fans for their support and bid farewell to Canada. It is believed that he already wrapped the filming of ‘Pachinko’ and is headed back home. Many fans commented on how handsome he still was even though half of his face was covered by a face mask.

After the success of his comeback drama ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ last year, Lee Min Ho landed a role in the first foray of Apple TV+ into the Asian drama scene. The series is based on a novel by the same name written by award winning author Kim Jin Lee.

The story will revolve around a Korean immigrant family that spans four generations and three countries. Lee Min Ho will have his work cut out for him as he plays the role of a character that has a questionable background.

Among the confirmed cast members for the series are American actor Jin Ha, who previously appeared in the series ‘Love Life’, Anna Sawai, who is part of the cast for Fast and Furious 9, Kim Minha, Soji Arai (Cobra Kai), as well as Japanese actor Kaho Minami.

Apple TV + has yet to announce the release date of Pachinko.

Video of Lee Min Ho on his return after ending his participation in Pachinko

South Korean star Lee Min Ho finished filming the Apple TV + series Pachinko in the city of Vancouver, Canada, and before leaving, he thanked fans with some photos accompanied by a message on his Instagram account.

Before leaving Canada, the star shared the publication of some images in the snow of himself and the team that accompanied him on the trip in which he also remembered the first anniversary of his K-Drama The King: Eternal Monarch .

As you will recall, Lee Min Ho arrived in the city of Vancouver in Canada at the beginning of March to begin filming his scenes in the dramatic adaptation of the best-selling novel by writer Min Jin Lee entitled Pachinko , which tells the story of four generations of the same Korean immigrant family.

Since his arrival and throughout his stay at the locations of the Pachinko film set , the star's fans made an appearance to provide support and take the opportunity to take photographs and videos of the actor that went viral on social networks.

The story follows the members of that family for decades who migrate from Korea to Japan and then to the United States. In Pachinko , Lee Min Ho plays the role of Noh Hansu , an enigmatic wealthy and powerful merchant with ties to the Japanese mafia (Yakuza).

The last two images posted by Lee Min Ho on his @actorleeminho Instagram account show him in a snowy mountainous landscape. In one of the photographs, the actor shows two small flags of South Korea and Canada. "Goodbye Canada, thank you Vancouver fans."

Yuh-Jung Youn Is an Oscar Frontrunner. There’s an Important History Behind Her Awards Season Success

youn-yuh-jung-featured-vertical.jpg?w=19

BY KAT MOON
APRIL 23, 2021 5:37 PM EDT

For the first time in the Oscars’ 93-year history, a Korean actress is nominated for an Academy Award. Yuh-jung Youn’s name may be new to some in the U.S., but it’s familiar to many in South Korea, where the 73-year-old actor’s career in both film and television has spanned five decades. While Youn has earned dozens of accolades in her home country, her performance in Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari has propelled the actor to a new level of international recognition—and one that has been conspicuously rare for performers of Asian descent.

In Chung’s semi-autobiographical film, an immigrant Korean American family relocates to Arkansas to pursue father Jacob’s (Steven Yeun) dream to start a family farm. Youn plays his mother-in-law Soon-ja, who joins them from Korea to help take care of her grandchildren. Soon-ja is spunky and feisty: she loves to watch wrestling, play cards and, as her grandson David (Alan Kim) puts it, is “not a real grandma” because she swears and wears men’s underwear. Youn’s performance was praised in reviews following the film’s premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and subsequent release earlier this year.

The actor’s awards season has brought with it a number of firsts: Youn became the first Asian winner in any individual motion picture category at the SAG awards, and the first Korean actor to win a BAFTA award. At the 2021 Oscars, Youn is a frontrunner for Best Supporting Actress; a win would make her the first Asian performer to receive an acting award since 1985. Though the mood is largely celebratory, that joy is tempered by the acknowledgement of the Academy Awards’ troubling history when it comes to recognizing Asian actors and the stereotypes enforced in the rare instances when actors have been recognized. These historical oversights gained more widespread attention when, across awards shows, Parasite collected heaps of accolades for the film itself but few for its individual performers in acting categories—and none at the 2020 Academy Awards.

And while this year’s Oscar nominations are its most diverse ever—Steven Yeun became the first Asian American to be nominated for Best Actor, and Minari is nominated for Best Picture along with Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland, the first time that two films by Asian or Asian American directors are nominated for the category—only time will tell if the honors lead to lasting change. To understand what Youn’s success means moving forward, it is important first to look backward...

MINARI_01590.jpg?w=1600&quality=70

The need for structural change

Minari_prores_01_09_04_21.Still710.jpg?w

While Yuh-jung Youn will make history if she wins Best Supporting Actress on Sunday, a number of structural changes need to happen for her success—and that of Minari’s—to be a turning point for Asian and Asian American performers in Hollywood. For one, Nancy Yuen hopes that Hollywood will continue to recognize Asian American stories as American stories. And when they do, to cast Asian American actors as leads—which remains rare. “It still takes these kinds of independent movies that are coming out of the passion and perseverance of Asian American directors—and in the case of Minari, producer [Christina Oh] as well—to make these projects happen.”

She says that while Hollywood has rarely recognized actors of Asian descent—citing Parasite and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as examples—there is an additional hurdle for Asian American actors. “[Youn] has had more opportunities to exercise her craft than, unfortunately, a lot of Asian American actors because people here are not getting those meaty roles because of racial barriers,” Yuen explains.

Brian Hu feels similarly. While he acknowledges that the Oscars has seldom acknowledged both Asian and Asian American actors, he says that Youn and other Asian actors like Song Kang-ho (Parasite, The Host) have had careers’ worth of being able to explore a variety of roles. Because of the relative lack of opportunity in the U.S., Hu says, “For an Asian American actor [like Steven Yeun] to get a nomination, to me, [is] even more extraordinary.”

Hu also hopes film festival programmers take note of the way in which Minari’s prizes and buzz generated out of Sundance launched its momentum. “Maybe this is going to be a turning point for other film festivals all around the country to say, we should be more hungry for Asian American voices, and maybe that’s going to lead to a certain groundswell that will lead to larger change,” Hu says.

‘Decentering Western awards’

After Yuh-jung Youn was awarded Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTA Awards earlier this month, she gave a speech that has since gone viral. “Every award is meaningful but this one especially, [being] recognized by British people, known as very snobbish people and they approve me as a good actor. So I’m very, very privileged and happy,” Youn said. While she has since apologized for the comments, some have viewed Youn’s acceptance speeches as a way of placing Western awards in a broader global context. “She’s labeling the West through her lens,” Yuen said of the BAFTA speech. “She’s decentering Western awards by both winning them, and by reframing them through her experience as a South Korean actress.”

Spoiler

youn-yuh-jung-bafta-speech.jpg?w=1600&qu

In her mind, Youn’s words are similar to Bong Joon-ho’s comments during Parasite’s awards season—from calling the Oscars “very local” to his subtle shade at the 2020 Golden Globes that “once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.” “They’re happy to be there, but they want to tell you what they think about all the hoopla,” Yuen said, emphasizing that there’s so much talent in the global Asian majority. “Even if they don’t get acknowledged by Hollywood, they’re still doing that amazing work and it’s up to Hollywood to catch up to the rest of the world,” she says.

Congratulations to Yuh-Jung Youn for winning the Oscar and the BAFTA

(even if she did call us British “snobbish”!! ) I really hope LMH got to meet

her and  work with her in Canada. Apple must be pleased to have one of their cast members being an Oscar winner- plus the attention Minho got in Canada from fans highlighted his global appeal.

Does anyone else think/hope  as part of the publicity for the drama some of the cast might appear on Oprah- I think she has said she liked the book.

Brad Pitt fan and Oscar-winner Yuh-jung Youn has been a bright light of award season

Best supporting actress Yuh-jung Youn steals the show 01:00

(CNN)One of the most "stars are just like us" moments at Sunday's Academy Awards happened while Yuh-jung Youn was on stage becoming a winner among them.

"Mr. Brad Pitt, finally. It's nice to meet you," she said to crowd laughs after being presented the award for best supporting actress by Pitt, last year's winner for best supporting actor. "Where were you while we were filming? It's an honor to meet you."
Youn, who won for her role in "Minari," chalked up her reaction backstage to being star-struck. She's been a longtime fan, she said, and "maybe I blacked out a couple of seconds."
A Korean icon long before American audiences were talking about "Minari," Youn's unfiltered views have, since the film's rise began months ago, been a refreshing alternative to the over-trained responses usually seen during award season.
For instance, there was her BAFTA's speech, in which she thanked the voting body by saying, "Every award is meaningful, but this one, especially [to be] recognized by British people, known as very snobbish people, and they approve me as a good actor. "
Or, when speaking to the blog run by "Minari" production company A24, she boasted about her love of leisure time.
"Staying in my bed the whole day is my pleasure and my hobby," she said. "I like to watch TV or just doze, not thinking about anything -- it's whatever I want to do. I'm sorry to say that I'm really enjoying quarantine, because I can rest. I don't have to see anybody. I can just stay home 24 hours a day and stay in bed, my favorite place.

Much like her character in "Minari," a lovingly quirky grandmother, there's been so much to appreciate about Youn's honesty and good humor and the sense of connection it brought to an award season defined largely by a sense of disconnection.
In a year where little felt the same, it was a small, charming and familiar pleasure to revel in watching someone enjoying the crazy ride of awards success -- one we hope continues for Youn for years to come.

Korean Stars Congratulate Youn Yuh Jung On Her Historic Success At Academy Awards

Apr 26, 2021

by U. Kim

Many Korean actors have shared messages to celebrate and congratulate Youn Yuh Jung for winning Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards.

At the 93rd Academy Awards held on April 25 (local time) Youn Yuh Jung became the first Korean actress and second Asian actress to win an Oscar award. She took home the trophy for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Soonja in the film “Minari.”

Jeon Do Yeon, who worked with Youn Yuh Jung in “The Housemaid” and “Beasts Clawing at Straws,” conveyed through her agency Management SOOP, “We all had no doubt that she would receive the award. Simply saying ‘congratulations’ is not nearly enough, but I wholeheartedly congratulate her and wish that she will bask in this great joy. Sunsaengnim (term used to refer to an elder with respect), you are amazing, and I am so proud. I hope that a road full of flowers await in your future.” Jeon Do Yeon was the first Korean actress to win Best Leading Actress at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007.

The actors who appeared on her variety show “Youn’s Stay” also sent in congratulatory messages. Jung Yu Mi shared through Management SOOP, “Congratulations on your Oscar win. I am even happier and more proud that you are the first Korean actress to receive an Oscar. I hope that you will continue to act in various works in good health. Congratulations.”

Park Seo Joon relayed via News1, “Congratulations on your win! Even when we were appearing on ‘Youn’s Stay’ together, you were someone to look up to. I’m sure that would have also been the case on the set of ‘Minari.’ I think that’s why grandma Soonja in the film felt more tender and lovely. I genuinely congratulate you on your Oscar, and I hope you will continue to stay healthy. Once again, congratulations.”

Choi Woo Shik shared, “I sincerely congratulate you for winning Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars. While watching the broadcast, we were all desperately wishing for it. I teared up while watching it. I hope you will always be healthy and actively appear in great projects. Congratulations on the award once more!”

Park Jung Min, who acted in “Keys to the Heart” alongside Youn Yuh Jung, stated through Sports Chosun, “I think it is a natural result. I sincerely congratulate Youn Yuh Jung on her Oscar award. I will also remember this moment today for a long time, and I hope Youn Yuh Jung also has a splendid day. As her junior, I couldn’t wish for anything more as long as she happily and healthily shows us more films.”

On Instagram, Kim Hye Soo posted a photo of Youn Yuh Jung and an excerpt from an interview Youn Yuh Jung took part in, where she said, “Even at 60, I don’t know what life is. It’s my first time living this life. It’s my first time as a 67-year-old. If I knew it, I wouldn’t do it like this. But because it’s my first time, I can’t help but have regrets and get hurt. I can’t plan things. I just live. What I can do is to put things down one by one. Give up. Let go as I grow older.” Kim Hye Soo appears to be indirectly congratulating Youn Yuh Jung on her historic win with this post.

Bae Doona shared on her Instagram Stories a screenshot of an article about Youn Yuh Jung’s Oscar win. She wrote, “Wow! The Oscar Winner! Sunsaengnim! Congratulations!”

Kim Go Eun also posted a screenshot on her Instagram Stories and decorated it with stickers that say “Best news ever” and “Wow.”

Han Ji Min did the same and wrote, “Sunsaengnim, congratulations.”

Han Hyo Joo posted a photo of the television broadcast of the awards ceremony and commented, “Wow! Congratulations!”

Song Hye Kyo posted a photo of Youn Yuh Jung with her trophy and wrote, “Sunsaengnim, congratulations!”

Lee Byung Hun posted on his Instagram, “Impossible, that is not a fact, but an opinion,” along with the hashtags “Youn Yuh Jung,” “Academy Best Supporting Actress,” “Bravo,” and “Academy Awards.”

Claudia Kim congratulated both Youn Yuh Jung and Director Chloe Zhao of “Nomadland,” who won Best Director.

President Moon Jae In congratulated Youn Yuh Jung with a letter.

With the citizens, I congratulate actress Youn Yuh Jung on winning Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards.

I show my respect to the life-long acting of Youn Yuh Jung, who won the sympathy of those from other cultures with her relentless passion.

It is a triumph of the movie industry after the movie “Parasite” was globally recognized for its artistic value and direction. It has made us more proud of our culture and art, and above all, comforted the citizens who are worn out by COVID-19.

A Korean actress winning the Best Supporting Actress award at the Academy Awards for the first time is especially meaningful in that it has rewritten history with ‘acting’ in the 102-year history of Korean films. It is even more meaningful that this is an achievement made together by second-generation Korean-American director Isaac Lee Chung, Steven Yeun, and our actors. I hope that the Koreans living abroad will also feel proud of this achievement.

The film “Minari” holds significant meaning for us. It has portrayed the story of an immigrant family in a way that reflects general human life. It has proven to us that regardless of where we live, we are all closely connected. The acting shown by Youn Yuh Jung, who vividly brought to life the image of our mothers and grandmothers, shined so brightly. Once again, I am very proud of your achievement. Congratulations.

Youn Yuh-jung of 'Minari' wins Oscar for best supporting actress

spacer.png

Youn Yuh-jung has won best supporting actress at this year's Academy Awards for her performance in the immigrant film "Minari," becoming the first South Korean to win an acting Oscar.

At the awards ceremony held at Union Station in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday (U.S. time), Youn was awarded Best Actress in a Supporting Role, beating Maria Bakalova for "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm," Glenn Close for "Hillbilly Elegy," Olivia Colman for "The Father" and Amanda Seyfried for "Mank."

"Thank you. Tremendous thanks to the academy members who vote for me," she said in an acceptance speech after last year's best supporting actor winner Brad Pitt called her name. "Thank you, wonderful 'Minari' family, Steven (Yeun), (Lee) Isaac (Chung), (Han) Yeri, Noel (Kate Cho) and Alan (Kim). We became a family."

She said she cannot believe that she is accepting an Oscar as she has watched the Academy Awards on TV for decades in Korea.

She also gave special thanks to director Chung, who wrote his fourth feature "Minari" based on his childhood memories and was nominated for best director and best original screenplay this year.

"Most of all, above all, (I want to thank) Lee Isaac Chung. Without him, I couldn't be here," she said. "He was our captain, and my director. Tremendous thanks to you."

The 73-year-old Korean actress said her honor is the result of "American hospitality" for a Korean actor, and she wants to share the glory with the four other nominees.

It is the first time for a South Korean to clinch an Oscar in an acting category. Last year's best picture winner "Parasite" had no acting nominees even though it had an overall six nominations, including best director and original screenplay for Bong Joon-ho.

And Youn became just the second Asian actress to win best supporting actress in Oscar history, following Japanese actress Miyoshi Umeki from the 1957's "Sayonara."

Youn is also the third oldest supporting actress award recipient after 77-year-old Peggy Ashcroft for "A Passage to India" in 1985 and 74-year-old Josephine Hull for "Harvey" in 1951.

In "Minari," Youn took the role of the untraditional grandmother named Soon-ja, who flies to the United States to help her daughter's family, which is starting a new life in rural Arkansas.

She brought seeds of "minari," a watery herb that thrives in hostile ground, serving as a metaphor for the family's resilience and efforts to realize their American dream.

Written and directed by Korean American Lee Isaac Chung, "Minari" earned six nominations at this year's Academy Awards ― best picture for producer Christina Oh, best director and best original screenplay for director Chung, best actor for Korean American actor Steven Yeun, best supporting actress for Youn and best original score for Emile Mosseri.

In a pre-recorded video, he introduced the five nominees in the category ― Thomas Vinterberg for "Another Round," David Fincher for "Mank," Lee Isaac Chung for "Minari," Chloe Zhao for "Nomadland" and Emerald Fennell for "Promising Young Woman."

"The Oscar goes to," he said, "Chloe Zhao for 'Nomadland.'"

People watch a TV screen showing a news program reporting Korean actress Youn Yuh-jung received the Oscar for best supporting actress for her performance in "Minari," at Seoul Railway Station in Seoul, April 26 (KST). AP

An outpouring of support and congratulatory comments followed the news of South Korean actress Youn Yuh-jung's historic winning of an Oscar on Monday.

Youn won best supporting actress at this year's Academy Awards for her performance in the film "Minari," becoming the first South Korean to win an acting Oscar.

Spoiler

"It is like much-needed rain for the people who are having a hard time amid the COVID-19 pandemic," the ruling Democratic Party (DP) said in a statement.

The movie has "made history yet again" after the Oscar winning last year by Bong Joon-ho with "Parasite," the statement read, adding, "Youn's performance moved the hearts of global moviegoers and left lasting impressions."

The party implored the public to "overcome the current (health) crisis," just like the movie's protagonists who, "despite all the anxiety and confusion, do not give up and challenge themselves till the end."

The opposition People Power Party also congratulated the 73-year-old actor on the win, saying that her achievement ― and her lifelong pursuit of and dedication to acting ― gave many Koreans "energy and vitality to ride out the current hardship."

The film, it said, showed "the life of the generation ahead of us" that successfully rebuilt the nation from the war rubble, with the spirit symbolized by the plant "minari" that "exhibits great life force and thrives wherever it takes root."

Youn's achievement has also been widely celebrated and cheered by many South Korean actors who grew up watching her performances.

Choi Woo-sik, who played the son of a poor family in the Oscar-winning "Parasite," said it was "touching" to watch her win the award and he hoped to "continue seeing her performance in many more movies to come."

Award-winning actor Jeon Do-yeon said through her management agency that she "had never doubted" that Youn would win an Oscar and was so "proud" of her. Jeon won Best Actress at the 60th Cannes Film Festival for her performance in Lee Chang-dong's "Secret Sunshine" in 2007, becoming the first Korean ever to win an acting award from the festival.

"Impossibility is not a fact but merely an opinion," actor Lee Byung-hun wrote on his Instagram account, alongside a photo of Youn from the Oscar night. Lee appeared in such Hollywood films as "G.I Joe: Retaliation" in 2013.

The viewership rating for Youn's nabbing the Oscar, which was broadcast live exclusively on the cable channel TV Chosun on Monday morning, peaked at 7.88 percent, more than three times the rating of 2.16 percent of the same time a week ago.

  • syntyche changed the title to [Upcoming Drama 2021] Pachinko, 파친코 - Lee Min Ho, Youn Yuh Jung, Jin Ha, Anna Sawai, Minha Kim, Soji Arai, Kaho Minami - on Apple TV+

During the Oscar campaign, Yoon Yeo-jung continued filming the original Apple TV drama "Pachinko."

Actor Yoon Yeo-jung, who won the first Korean Best Supporting Actress Award at the 93rd Academy Awards, is drawing keen attention to her future moves.

According to Hook Entertainment on the 27th, Yoon Yeo-jung is scheduled to return home around May, and no official next film has been decided.

However, there is a work that has already begun shooting and is about to be released. Apple's online video service (OTT) Apple TV+ is releasing its original content, 'Pachinko'. Last year, Yoon Yeo-jung and actor Lee Min-ho announced the news of joining as main characters.

Apple's "Pachinko" is an eight-part drama based on a best-selling novel of the same name, and Yoon Yeo-jung plays " Soon-ja," who is born to a disabled parent and falls in love with a dangerous married man. In particular, Yoon Yeo-jung returned home after filming in Canada last month when the Oscar campaign was in full swing.

The schedule of the release of "Pachinko" has yet to be determined. Apple TV+ is not officially serviced in Korea, but there is a high possibility of entering Korea since last year, including adding Korean subtitles to original content, so it is not long before watching Yoon Yo-jung's performance at the home theater.

Meanwhile, Yoon Yeo-jung's debut film, "The Housemaid," will also be re-released for the first time in 50 years. Earlier, Yoon Yeo-jung mentioned Kim Ki-young, saying, "She was a genius director. If she had been alive, she would have been very happy (at the news of the award)."

What is the next step for 'Team Minari' Yoon Yeo-jung etc. after the Oscar party?

After Yoon Yeo-jung's 93rd Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, attention is focusing on where the next steps of the "Minari" protagonists will head.

Yoon Yeo-jung, who gained worldwide fame through the Oscar Best Supporting Actress Award, is waiting for the release of the Apple TV project drama "Pachinko" and the movie " Heaven: Into the Land of Happiness.".

"Pachinko" is based on a feature novel of the same title written by Korean-American writer Lee Min-jin and depicts the epic history of four generations of Korean immigrant families. Born to parents with disabilities, Yoon Yeo-jung plays the role of Seon-ja, the main character who falls in love with a married man belonging to Yakuza in Japan and suffers from hardships. Pachinko, which began filming in October last year with the aim of releasing it within this year, has recently completed filming in Canada and is reportedly focusing on last-minute filming. Pachinko is scheduled to air in eight episodes later this year on Apple TV+.

Lee Min Ho recently returned to South Korea after spending several weeks in Canada as part of his new project, Patchinko.

Previously, some images of the actor have already leaked, in which he looked beautiful and elegant. Recently, however, netizens have been sharing new images of the actor while filming him outdoors, and it was inevitable for many to be frightened when they saw his dirty and blood-stained appearance.

Although he undoubtedly looks handsome as always, Lee Min Ho showed up with a bloody face, disheveled hair and traditional Japanese clothing while filming "Pachinko," further fueling the expectation of the series' fans.

Check out the photos below:

Patinko is a novel that will be shown on Apple TV. This is the second novel by Lee Min Jin, an author who was born in Seoul but raised in the United States. For over 500 pages, we follow in the footsteps of a Korean family who lived on the small island of Yongdo in Busan during the Japanese colonial era.

In this adaptation, Lee Min Ho will play the role of Hansu, a man with a mysterious life and an organized crime businessman who engages in a horrific love story that has many serious consequences.

While the new photos of Lee Min Ho are a little intimidating, we can't wait to see the premiere of this wonderful production!

What are your thoughts on the new leaked images of Lee Min Ho on Pachinko?
