Son Seok-gu appeared in Season 2 of the Netflix series 'DP', which was very popular last year, and works with Jung Hae-in and Koo Gwan-hwa. 'DP' is a drama depicting the story of Jun-ho (Jung Hae-in) and Ho-yeol (Goo Gwan-soo), who are part of an arrest team (DP) who catch deserters, and face a reality that they did not know while chasing people with various stories. He showed off his presence by appearing as Captain Lim Ji-seop. As the most realistic character led a lot of sympathy, anticipation is focused on what kind of fun season 2 will bring.

Director Han Jun-hee, the director, after winning the Best Picture award at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 6th, said, "I will start filming for 'DP2' this month."

The best K-dramas on Netflix, according to someone who has seen them all

Here's where to start on your K-drama journey — including the one romance everyone seems to be talking about.

“D.P” (2021)

Jung Hae-in (“Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”) stars as a private serving his mandatory 18-month military duty in South Korea. After joining a team called the Deserter Pursuit, he diligently works to return soldiers who’ve escaped — often feeling uncertain about whether he’s doing the right thing. “D.P.” is unflinching in its depiction of military brutality and the ramifications of ignoring the victims’ pleas for help.

On the 23rd, 'Dazed' released a pictorial of Jung Hae-in set in Hawaii.

Actor Jung Hae-in successfully completed <DP> in 2021, spending a busy year doing various works such as Seolganghwa and Unframed. In addition, as the production of <DP2> was confirmed, he said that he was preparing for the season 1's popularity while having fun overcoming the pressure.

In the pictorial, Jung Hae-in exuded his own charm by digesting various concepts of fashion with a healthy and bright energy in the Hawaiian atmosphere and nature.

Haein’s drama <Something In The Rain> are included in UK Glamour magazine’s recommendation for best Korean dramas on Netflix to binge watch

Image may contain Clothing Apparel Jung Haein Coat Overcoat Son Yejin Human and Person

“Something In The Rain ” (2018)

Who: Two people (Son Ye-jin as Yoon Jin-ah and Jung Hae-in as Seo Joon-hee) with perfect skin, great coats and meddling families.

What: Falling in love with your best friend’s little brother was never going to be easy, especially when your mother is insane, your own little brother has no manners and the company you work at is wildly sexist.

Why: This was the first K drama I watched and is the perfect way to ease you in, but you need to be committed. Most K dramas are slow burners and require serious loyalty, especially this one – there are over 20 episodes that are at least one hour and 20 mins long…

The 30 Best Korean Dramas on Netflix Right Now

For those dipping their toes into the vast world of dranas beyond ‘Squid Game’.

MARIE CLAIRE US | By Quinci LeGardye
Published 2022.05.27

Korean content has had a surge in popularity in the U.S. over recent years, from the zombie flick Train to Busan and Bong Joon-ho's Oscar-winning satire Parasite to the dystopian drama that took over the world last year, Squid Game. Luckily for anyone who saw Squid Game and wants to check out more Korean television dramas, a.k.a. K-dramas, Netflix has one of the largest libraries of the best Korean dramas and films in the U.S.

“One Spring Night”
This realistic romance drama depicts the love story of Yu Ji-ho (Jung Hae-in), a single father who works as a pharmacist, and librarian Lee Jeong-in (Han Ji-min). The first interaction between the two is mundane—Jeong-in goes into Ji-ho's work and realizes she forgot her wallet—and the woman already has a boyfriend of four years. Still, their chance meetings building into a deep attachment, with the pair falling in love despite everyone around them telling them not to.
