SH was so happy for first time... she felt like that and she said she felt she had no worries in the world. When WJ hugged SH i felt his whole world is in his arm

Yah, and I loved WJ's line in which he said he won't allow anybody even herself to treat her as a maid!! That man keeps winning hearts with every gesture and word!!

As you said before, the date scene was so simple and could seem childish as WJ said. It was nothing fantasy but still a dream date for everyone

It was first time he said her name :)

OH, yes poor SH was actually surprised and excited that he knows the name :(

And BTW, I guess WJ seeing her in that status when he was taking CR home actually made her feel more unworthy of him :(

OH WHY SHE HAS TO FEEL LIKE THAT???

Most of the info WJ got always comes from SH husband family.Like first time when whole family reached his house pulled his hair that time he came to know DH has sister. The husband BCD also keeps speaking abt SH to him in gym and that SIL in share house sharing abt divorce and becz of CR mistake they came to SH house since she said DH is there :)

@apqaria Somebody has to shake SH to make her realize her worth and stopping her for comparing herself to her sister DH too. When WJ was talking abt DH to her,he was talking abt her. Can't she see.Even CR can see it.She must be thinking how can she take her sisters love.

Just wondering if WJ will call CR to his house again and will SH come too.Now we will see DH in share house.

Go For it Full MV song. Thanks to uploader :D

Some more about the abuse of power in the nut rage case. Didn't realize they stopped serving nuts on a plate because of allergies. So the rules had recently changed.  The flight attendant's name was Kim Do Hee . Don't think that is a coincidence. And the persecution of the chief flight attendant continued he says and he is suing the company to make a point.   The stewardess Kim Do Hee sued in 2015 in NYC court. But no further info available. That means there was an out of court settlement and she agreed to never discuss or disclose the case. I hope she got a lot of money. Since she sued close to the embarrassing time of the incident they probably paid her well to shut her up. Hope so.

Also read that the flight attendants who are going to be on her flight, had to take a five hours class learning how to speak and conduct themselves around her.

Korean Air ‘nut rage’ heiress resurfaces as Olympics VIP while her former target scrubs toilets

After heiress Cho Hyun-ah was fired and jailed, her sister took over her job and vowed to ‘avenge’ her. Now, the flight attendant who angered Cho says he is being victimised again by powerful tormentors

Cho Hyun-ah, the Korean Air heiress who achieved global notoriety in the 2014 “nut rage” incident, returned to the public eye last month, accompanying her father as he ran with the Olympic torch when the relay passed through Seoul.

Korean Air is an official partner of the Winter Games, which open in Pyeongchang on Friday, and Cho’s father is the chairman of the company – called “owner” in Korean because, although it’s publicly listed, the company is in many ways still operated like a family business.

Running with her father and her sister, Cho wore an official grey Pyeongchang tracksuit and a smile on her face.bbade536-0c6b-11e8-a09e-8861893b1b1a_1320x770_092127.jpg

I lost everything at that moment because someone who had power over me had this emotional outburst
FLIGHT ATTENDANT PARK CHANG-JIN

Park Chang-jin is also trying to put on a smile these days. He was the chief flight attendant on Korean Air Flight 86 from New York to Seoul the day of the fracas over nut service in the first-class cabin, and his life hasn’t been the same since, mocked by his bosses and made to scrub toilets in economy class.

“I loved my job, but then suddenly this incident with Ms Cho happened,” Park said in an interview in Seoul. “I lost everything at that moment because someone who had power over me had this emotional outburst.”

The unbridled power of big business conglomerates and the perceived gulf between the “owner” families and ordinary people have become a big issue in South Korea. Many complain that there is one set of rules for the rich and one for everyone else.

The most recent example: Lee Jae-yong, the heir to the Samsung empire, was released from jail Monday, just six months into a five-year prison term, even though the court upheld most of his bribery-related convictions.

He will participate in the opening ceremony Friday at the Winter Games, where Samsung is a major partner and official Olympic sponsor.

The progressive government elected in May had vowed to work to reduce economic and social disparities and limit some of the powers of conglomerates like Korean Air and Samsung.a9fbbbac-0c6a-11e8-a09e-8861893b1b1a_1320x770_092127.JPG

Both of the recent controversial cases involving “owner” families show just how hard change is, said Jun Sung-in, professor of economics at Hongik University.

“This is a reminder for us that a change doesn’t come simply by changing political power,” he said. “It comes when continuous efforts are made across all parts of society for a long time.”

For Park, the Korean Air flight attendant, it feels as if a long time has already passed.

It was December 5, 2014, and Park, who had worked at Korean Air for many years, was asked to lead the staff on the flight. He was tapped because of his experience dealing with VIPs, he said. The VIP that day was Cho, then Korean Air’s vice-president for cabin service.

When the flight attendant in first class served macadamia nuts to Cho in an unopened bag, rather than on a plate, the executive daughter became apoplectic. She apparently did not know that the guidelines had recently been changed to stipulate that open nuts should not be carried through the cabin in case passengers had severe allergies.

She unleashed a torrent of abuse at the attendant, Kim Do-hee, and insisted that Park kick her off the plane, which was still on the ground in New York, according to court documents. Park said he explained that the door was shut and they were starting to taxi, but Cho wasn’t having it.

She made Kim and Park apologise on their knees in front of her, then ordered the plane back to the gate and had them both ejected.9c14dfbe-0c6a-11e8-a09e-8861893b1b1a_1320x770_092127.JPG

The incident ignited a firestorm in South Korea. Cho’s father, Korean Air chairman Cho Yang-ho, called his daughter “foolish” and fired her. But it didn’t end there. She was charged with obstructing aviation safety and sentenced to a year in prison, although she was released after three months.

Korean Air spokesman Cho Hyun-mook said it would be “difficult” to arrange an interview with Cho Hyun-ah.

I want to fight for my rights, even though I am just a little guy up against a huge company. I want our people to think about what’s wrong and what’s right
PARK CHANG-JIN

Although she no longer holds a position at the company, her sister Emily has taken over many of her responsibilities. Emily Cho wrote in a text message to her sister shortly after the incident: “I’ll avenge you.” She admitted writing the message and publicly apologised.

But to Park, it feels as if the company is indeed hell-bent on revenge.

In the interview, the immaculately dressed and groomed former chief flight attendant described a hostile work environment that he believes is designed to force him to resign.

Rumours spread about him and people began to recognise him on the street, he said. Korean Air strongly denies waging a character assassination campaign against him.

Park said his working conditions also deteriorated sharply, with his superiors belittling him and asking him why he had returned to work or why he wasn’t married.

It took a toll on Park, who is 47 and has worked for Korean Air for 21 years. He began to find it difficult to put on his happy cabin-attendant face in such an environment.

“I have suffered physically and psychologically,” he said, describing how he had to take a total of 18 months’ sick leave while he sought hospital treatment. He is now taking antidepressants and often experiences agoraphobia and difficulty breathing. He wiped his eyes several times during the interview.

But he wanted to return to work. Park grew up on a small island off the coast of South Korea, where his father was a sailor who often sent postcards home from exotic places. That instilled in Park a desire to explore.

He applied to work at Korean Air while he was still at university. “I knew I would be so good at this job because I’m a very friendly person and I like to help other people,” he said.

He loved his job. His mother, who still lives on the little island, was proud of him. “But now, my situation has brought shame on her and our whole family,” he said.

When Park returned to work, he had to renew all his qualifications after more than a year off. He was repeatedly given failing grades on language tests – in Korean and in English – and began to suspect it was on purpose.

After having worked as chief flight attendant and in first class, he was assigned to economy class and given the most menial tasks, including cleaning the toilets.

The company says it has treated Park no differently from any other employee.

“There [is] no different work scope for juniors or seniors. As a result, seniors can be assigned [to] economy-class duties,” the Korean Air spokesman said. “Flight attendants’ duty can rotate from flight to flight.”

Park’s co-workers have advised him not to make a fuss and just give up.

But he is not giving up.

He is suing Cho and Korean Air, alleging that they have demoted him illegally and have led to his being ostracised at work. The case has been referred to mediation, he said. Korean Air declined to comment on an ongoing legal case.

Park said he doesn’t expect to win, but he wants to make a point. “I want to fight for my rights, even though I am just a little guy up against a huge company,” he said in English. “I want our people to think about what’s wrong and what’s right.”

And with that, he was off to work the economy-class shift on a Korean Air flight to the Philippines.

Daebak, I have no words to say:(. It seem like the accident from the drama was taken from this accident. And here I though kdrama chaebols were scumbags . Reality is worse:crazy:. Working there 21 years and that's how they treat him. I hope he wins.

IKR!   And read in article about Kim Do Hee she had to take a five hour class for flight attendants who are going to be on Heather Cho's flight. They need to learn what to say to her and how to speak and where to put her things etc. Like  learning palace manners.    Amazing in this day and age. But the older I get the more I realize human nature doesn't change and people and workers need human rights laws to protect them from be taken advantage of.

when a person has wealth, power, position, they will tend to ask to be respected, given special treatment. But not all rich people like that. Still many rich people even softer than ordinary people (many also ordinary people who use the rich). Evil or good person is not seen from the rich or poor them, but it has many reasons (wrong parents, environment, and application of religion). Many ordinary people are rude, arrogant, arrogant, selfish, but they are not included in the public. while their rich people went public.

Unlike the law. People who have many powers are immune to the law. unlike the rich they are not immune from the law, because they have no power. they only have a lot of money but do not have power connections, let alone the good rich people who just know work.

Good or evil is dependent on personal desire (apart from rich and poor).-_-

I re-watched the earlier episodes and you can really see the difference between WJ's disposition before compared to now that he is with SH. He smiles more these days and has so much air of positivity around him thanks to SH's influence. I hope he's clued in on the switch by next week... both KM and CD already have an idea while TY knows it's really SH who's in the share-house for now.

I don't want them keeping WJ in the dark for long so he can really evaluate his feelings about SH.

@japchaebapcrazy monkey welcome to this forum and thread. cute-rabbit-emoticon-21.gif?1301940532The more we are, the better it is.cheerleader pink mouse

After reading the articles posted by @maddymappo, I am quite left speechless. crazy monkey 025OTR is not far from reality on jail crazy rabbitwhich is really shocking. get out crazy rabbitActually, I am glad that there is this drama because it shows that the writer is supporting the flight attendants. Even the proposition of creating an union seems realistic. The more people are watching it, the better it is for the flight attendants.

@Annya @apqaria It would be great if WJ just invited CR because he sensed that DH was acting differently. We saw that he planted a new plant for CR.  WJ thought, she was stressed and could relax with her niece. But when CR appears, DH still remains distant and cold which surprises WJ. He loves CR a lot and seeing this would pain him. Moreover, I want her to play cupid for her mother, leaving clues here and there so that WJ realizes the switch.

@supergal99 edit: I also think that OTY could play a role in controlling DH by letting her know that he knows about the switch. I am sure that OTY will make sure that DH doesn't ruin SH's reputation as "angelic flight attendant".

This is the first time I watched a Kdrama that fast.  I meant just one day after it aired!  Thank you for those people who did the subtitle so quick!  Was going to wait until Friday but just can't wait to come here to chat.

WJ is such a sweet guy!  After SH rejected or postponed to give him an answer, he still happy to wait!  It's funny to see OTY teasing him and he still didn't get mad but only jealous.   Wow, I love his singing at the beach fire!  He got a very nice voice!  He's so cute when he became childish after he fell in love with SH!

Ya, we've been watching the good witch for a while, it's the evil witch's turn now.  I don't mind since it's still Lee Da Hae.

I like the idea of @apqaria which WJ noticed the difference of DH and confirmed with TY.  In this way, he will have time to remember how SH tried to confess to him that she's not DH.  I don't like seeing the main leads misunderstand and torture each other.

Have to sleep now! :D

CR is such an unlikely cupid and I love it! The little girl is not blind to the faults of the people around her and isn't afraid to call them out for it. I hope she'll help WJ and SH find their way back to each other even with DH back in the picture.

Speaking of DH, I keep wondering if she'll get to have her happily ever after in the end as well. I want her to change and not be consumed by too much ambition... will 3 weeks be enough to redeem her character?

@supergal99 Yes, OTY has changed so much and this thanks to SH! He has matured a lot. Finally he revealed his intelligence. I am glad that OTY shows qualities so that he can definitely remain as a serious love rival with WJ. On the other hand I don't want OTY to be with the ex-sister-in-law. Sure, as friends it is okay for me but not as couple. First OTY needs friends and not just a love interest. Secondly, she is just supporting him because he is related to the Chairman. Sure, she is now willing to leave the comfort zone and face trouble with him. Yet, she had in her mind: she becomes best friend and later his wife. So she has not been entirely honest. She could only get close to him, since he wanted to know DH's family.

Right now, she has no idea that OTY is interested in SH. So we have to wait for her reaction, when she gets aware of OTY's affection for SH. If she doesn't try to sabotage anything , then I might change my mind about her. If she tries to help her brother to get with SH together in order to get rid of SH as rival... then no.

@roseysjournal We have 4 weeks left!! It means 8/16 episodes since the drama is supposed to have 20/40 episodes.

@bebebisous33 Oh yeah! Sorry, I keep on forgetting. Haha! :) Hopefully that's enough time to redeem DH's character otherwise death or prison is the only way her arc is ending. Unless she plays hero and ends up protecting her family from OTR's wrath.

I know OTY likes SH now but part of me wants him to bicker with DH when she gets back and who knows, sparks might fly. But that's just wishful thinking. Haha! Not really feeling him with the ex-sister in law as well.

As for DH ..uh oh ... oh ok dont *scream*  at me, LDH fans hahaaaa... -> maybe writernim can send her out of Korea. Eg. Further career advancements coz she is *kaching*$$ focused.

Edit: ahhh.. almost forgot the twin power muz come first before she gets to go in the final episode.

I am okay wit OTY teaching DH a few things, like f. ex. he calls SH noona but not her!! He compares DH to SH by underlining SH's qualities. He defends SH, something DH is not used to.

My problem with DH is that she committed a crime hence she also needs to be punished for her wrongdoings. She shouldn't get easily off the hook, even if she protects her sister in the end.
