I really love Ji Jin Hee since I watch Jewel in the palace...I also love his character in The Man Can't Get Married.Right my favorite show is Dong Yi where sukjong will act as King Sukjong.At first I feel worried when I heard the news that he would play sukjong and costar with Han Hyo Joo because of the wide age gap even when I like him in Jewel In The Palace..But Ji Jin Hee really suprise me with his character as Sukjong...he really make a good chemistry with Han Hyo Joo..and I always waithing for their meeting together for each episode.

Now it already reach 26h episode...I hope Sukjong would meet Dong Yi again and make her as a consort.

JJH is seriously awesome in Dong Yi! Suk Jong is so different from any other king that we've seen in Korean historical dramas so far, and JJH is acting the role soooo well.

I'm going to try and go back to the days when I wrote in this thread real often, and I'll try and update JJH's news as much as possible from now on. Hopefully more people come and support JJH!

JJH news update

Two days ago, JJH bought a barbecue dinner for 200 Dong Yi staff, to encourage and thank them for their hard work in such hot weather

According to news articles, the staff were really happy and grateful to JJH (After all, it was food given by the King ), and said that although filming Dong Yi is hard work, the teamwork between the staff and actors are great.

JJH and Han Hyo Joo (Dong Yi) was appointed as the honorary ambassadors for promoting the census of the Korean population which will take place in November this year. They were chosen because the notion of a census was first introduced in Korea when Suk Jong was the king.

Below are some photos at the ceremony yesterday. I missed seeing the 'real' JJH (especially in modern clothes), so I was really happy when I saw the photos. JJH looks good (as always ) but he also looks really tired.. I'm getting more and more worried about his health as time passes, because every time I watch a new episode of Dong Yi it becomes evident that he is getting skinnier and skinnier.. Really hope he takes care of his health, especially since Dong Yi is extending at least 14 more episodes!

Ji Jin Hee is such a great actor, love his chemistry with Han Hyo Joo in Dong Yi. I think he's made for historical dramas. I can't wait for his next project. Been a fan since Dae Jang Geum.

Hi JWSCSW, after I read your post I searched facebook for his account, and I really don't think it's him or his management company. JJH has never mentioned anything like this at all and he even said that he got rid of his cyworld minihomepage because he doesn't have time (he wants to spend time with his family now), so I would think he also wouldn't have a facebook account.. Most of all he doesn't really speak English well, so I doubt he would run an English facebook account.. Maybe it's someone impersonating JJH?

Actor Ji Jin-hee has been cast for the SBS TV drama "Captain".

According to promoter 'The J Story', "Captain" is a drama that deals with passenger flight pilots and will be aired next January.

Ji Jin-hee is Kim Yoon-seong who has a gift for flying airplanes. He appears as a very rational and a perfectionist, but he's actually a humanist who has a soft heart.

Ji Jin-hee said, "This drama is very new to me as it is about something I haven't dealt with before and I'm captivated by the passion of it. Being the captain of an airplane is a first to me and it should be stimulating".

                          Take Care of Us, Captain" Ji Jin-Hee Becomes a Photographer

Actor Ji Jin-hee became a photographer in Australia.

Taking on the role of Kim Yoon-seong in the new SBS drama "Take Care of Us, Captain", debuting on the 4th of January, Ji Jin-hee took pictures of a newly wedded couple on site in early November.

This scene was taken at Harbor Bridge in Australia and it is of Ji Jin-hee taking wedding pictures of a flying instructor. He is showing a pose very much like a real photographer rather than a set up.

With a past career as an advertisement photographer, he led the scene like a real photographer, telling the Austrailian couple how to pose and such. People say it's hard to tell if it's real or a scene for the drama.

Ji Jin-Hee's Transformation into a Uniform-Wearing Pilot

Ji Jin-hee transformed into a pilot wearing a uniform.

Ji Jin-hee takes on the role of pilot captain Kim Yoon-seong in the SBS drama special "Take Care of Us, Captain". The drama started shooting on the 31st of October and he has been in Australia showing off his pilot's uniform.

He has shed his kind image from "Dong Yi" and is about to display some thorough and strict charisma.

He wears a poker face and doesn't lose his cool in any situation but on the inside he's actually very warm and humane. Ji Jin-hee has been focusing hard on turning himself into Kim Yoon-seong. The first episode comes on the 4th of January.

I'm a new fan of him. After watching him in' Take care of us , captain', I must say that he is an intense and charismatic actor. His powerful acting exude a stellar perfomance like any other amazing actors in korea . Kinda remind me of Jang Hyuk either in look and acting.

I think I should watch jewel in the palace just for him. It's a famous drama back then.
