Is it true that there will be a second season? Not really fan of sequels but I also want to see all of them again. What a dilemma

Also if they do make a season 2 for FJ and Dijun and luck strikes and we get the old characters than  I am definitely thrilled (thinking of Scarlet Heart 2...but my god was the plot all over the place ), but I highly doubt it as well but if it is different actors, I would probably try it to see if the starting eps is good or not, just for the sake of my FengJui and Dijun  heart

I actually havent heard of any season 2 rumor.. I do know that there's already a production house who bought the pillow book drama right.. And I don't think it's the same one who made TMOPB

I also don't think it's going to be a sequel.. It's more of a new take of the storyline of FJ and DJ as the lead

I really wish the pillow books can be made into a drama, I still remember crying until my nose bled when I finished the books. Now imagining that they might become a drama, I want to cry from happiness

So this is my second cdrama (not sure if this is the right term?) and I just marathoned it over the weekend, I have to say that I was a bit skeptical, fantasy dramas are (were) not my thing... but omg what a ride!  It was amazing, I couldn't stop after the first few episodes and while I used to say that I preferred kdramas because they usually are around 16-20 episodes, this one I felt I needed more, I just want more,  it was fantastic, sorry if I'm fangirling too much!  

Since I'm new to cdramas I was wondering if any of you  could recommend me any other drama? The other one that I saw was Princess Weiyoung.

If you like modern cdrama, you should check out LoveO2O, Love Me If You Dare, Memory Lost, Joy to Ode, etc. for now.

But if you like to watch ancient, you should watch Chinese Paladin 1 and Chinese Paladin 3. Chinese Paladin 3 starring the same girl that play Bai Qian. She also plays in Legend of the Ancient Sword. You should definitely check out Young Warriors of the Yang Clan. I love the Condor Heroes Trilogy (Legend of the Condor Hero, Return of the Condor Hero, and Legend of the Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber). There are a lot of version of them but so far i've watched majority of them all.

Nirvana in Fire is the unanimously best c period drama, might want to check that out. 

If you like romance and crying your eyes out, try Bu Bu Jing Xin

I haven't tried modern cdramas  but I might give them a try!  I really like the aesthetics of period dramas both in sageuk and now cdrama I think because I just love everything about them. Thanks for sharing your favorites I'll add them to my must-watch list!!

I've read a lot about Nirvana in Fire from the comment sections in Princess Weiyoung and Eternal Love, I will have to watch it since it seems to be a favorite of all!  

I actually started watched Bu Bu Jing Xin when I saw Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo  since everybody said it was way better than the Korean version which I loved but the ending was heartbreaking, I'll continue that one too!

Nirvana in Fire is excellent. No tv series is perfect but this one comes close.

I also truly loved Boss and Me. The couple was so natural to me. I really enjoyed watching them.

On topic, I miss Yehua, Bai Qian and Ali. I still think of their love story as one of the very best that I've seen.
