So. I've made arrangements for the next couple of days........

I'm back at my little hole-of-an-apartment from my uni days. Hubby managed to rent it back for me for the week.

Meaning..... No work. No husband. No in-laws. No dog. From today till Wednesday night.

Just me and my cat and my computer and massive supply of popcorn & coke & junk food.

I'm ready for my MLSHR-mania, the final stage.

Now, as I wait for the inevitable doom & heartbreak that Ep19 would bring, lemme highlight the scenes from last week episodes that made the biggest impression on me.

 

My favourite scene: "Family Dinner"

Because that's exactly what it is. This is GJ's true family.

How I wish this little moment can last forever.

The smiles & the laughter..... No secrets, no lies, no worries... Just a little moment of true happiness.

 

 

The most impactful scene: Masked seduction by YH

I was a total blubbering mess, watching that scene (while in office, by the way).

My heart screamed: Nooooo!!!!! That's not HS! You're not allowed to kiss that b****!

My brain screamed: OMG! How dare they?! Demeaning a strong female character this way???

My ovaries screamed: I don't care! LJG is soooooo hot. Gimme morrrrre!!!

My mouth screamed: #@#%$*#$*&     (I can't write what I screamed on this forum, without getting banned, probably.)

 

 

The scene that left my heart aflutter: "Sweet kiss on the cheek"

I know people are crazy about kiss on the lips.

But I have a particular weakness for kiss on the cheek or forehead. The chasteness in the gesture somehow adds to the sweetness of it... and it always makes my heart feel so full.

 

 

Best OTP scene: GJ waking the dozing HS

I must be a weirdo, because my fave OTP scene is not their outing or head-on-the-lap bed scene. I feel that those scenes are riddled with unspoken problems & issues between the couple, so it makes my heart hurt watching them.

But this little scene for me is so very special.

GJ in the magnificent King garb, folding himself into a crouch to wake Soo.

Him calling her "Soo-yah".

HS's little look of joy and then embarrassment.

HS checking out the greatness (& I'm sure, the hotness) of the man standing before her.

GJ apologizing to HS.

Everything about it is perfect. For a little while, they seem like a true couple that they're meant to be.

 

 

The scene that made me lose my appetite (especially for burrito):

I don't need to elaborate here. And I'm NOT gonna make a gif outta it. Urrrrgh!!

 

 

The scenes that made me cry uncontrollably:

So many scenes broke me in those two episodes. But there were two scenes that brought me to tears.

One, HS in the Queen/wedding garb, staring at her own reflection. The should've-would've-could've's swirled in my head at that moment, and all I could feel was grief. (gif obtained from @LyraYoo's post)

Two, the look of utter wretchedness & betrayal in HS's eyes during the confrontation with GJ about CR. She looked totally broken. It's worse than how she looked after the torture in Ep11, or when she was being led to execution, or when Lady Oh died. Sigh.....

Now, I'm gonna prepare my junk-food filled dinner AND midnight snack, because after the episode, I probably won't be getting outta bed.

Oh god the new stills, the new preview the new every thing, to say episode 19 is gonna be heartbreaking is an understatement, it's gonna be all doom and gloom and tears and whatnot. But I will have faith, that maybe tomorrow's episode will give us a satisfactory ending ( I'm soo praying for that ) just don't let our OTP separate without each of them knowing they loved each other deeply.

Was searching for something to watch while waiting for tonight's episode...and I came across this. Not exactly related to SHR but somehow I keep on thinking about how similar it is to Hae Soo's current situation. Or is the SHR drug taking over me?
