Me too ! In the book, the mom is the friend of 'Hye Won' and can't believe her son and Hye Won are in love. It's been 3 years until the mom discovers the affair ! Then she sends 'Sun Jae' in Paris (for him to never see Hye Won again) but his lover comes to him and kiss passionately because she divorced her husband and travel to Paris to find him. ♥

Thanks, Briseis for all the recaps.  I am avoiding to read them 'cause I prefer anticipation while watching the episodes.  But I can't help it.  The same anticipation is killing me.  I have to watch episode 3 raw, right now.
YAI has always been one of my favorites since Sunkyunkwan Scandal.  He never ceases to amaze me in all his dramas, top rated or not.  I just root for him and watch him act.  He's giving his best in all his roles.  Here, in "Secret Love Affair", I discover he has lot more to offer.  A versatile actor at his age, he's starting to be the number one in my list of favorites.
After watching episodes 1 and 2, my skepticism about the older leading lady is slowly fading away.  She doesn't look like her age, actually.  Thanks to Korean beauty specialists.  YAI also seems to have gained weight which suits him, making his looks younger than his real age, which what is supposed to be.
