I am wondering what the situation is that Han Yoon Chan's father was killed by Seol Do Hyeon's father.  Was that what the flashback scene was that we saw HYC remembering his self witness the incident and he was the child?

I also wonder if Gramp's finally has any regrets for how things have turned out so far. All to find an heir for the company. I am not saying he is wrong in wanting to continue the line and the tradition of his family running that company and having someone who has the ability to make quality soy sauce. Just wondered if he ever considered that he has so much more in his grand daughters and daughter in law who could also help run that company. We can see that JES/HaNa has the ability and skills even as at a young age. How much of a surprise will it be to him when it is finally reveled that he is a she?

@Ldy Gmerm.... To the world with Grand Pa . He hasn't been blind to whats going on he just trying to find some self pity for his wrong actions. He's thinking how will he be punished for how he treated his on biological grand kids and took in a child of no blood relation to him. OH trust and believe the maker has a plan for him, If he don't die off I could see RG&RH and mom ruining the company that's were. Jes/Hana come in and take over. While somebody got to take care of grandpa. 
I'm also mad at Hana mom for leaving her daughter to those two leech. She should know they will do everything possible to get hana put out. She had to know that Hana problem to the plan. I'm really curious to what her and Hana talk about at the restaurant.

This a very traditional Korean family we are talking about where the male doesn't interfere with the running of the house. The grandfather emphasized on family being harmonious one to another. The one of the reason why ES wanted to leave school is not to be discovered that she is a girl as she knew her size will be more obvious from the rest of the boys and she cannot take continuous beating down the track if it kept happening. All she wanted is to learn how to make soya sauce and the ability later on to defend her mother and sister. Her mother is helping her by forcing the two villains to agree to it using her title as the legal wife/mother to RG and ES. The two villains are not even in the family register.

It doesn't seems that Yoon Chan has anything against Do Yoon's father but his right hand man. It's all a false rumor. But it's too early to tell.

Wow so much insight into this drama love it. So now they know who's mom is the mistress. I wouldn't have suggested to let RG share anything. Glad the snakes kid wasn't on the family registry. That look on there faces was priceless. So that's why halmoni turned her head they got caught in a lie. Now if Hana play this to her advantage things will be great. Will they allow her to quit school. She's smart enough she could get a diploma and start college or ask Grand Pa to send her to school in a different country. I don't know I'm just against any child that quit school regardless even if it's a secret about a hidden gender. Why RH never told her brother about there mother being the mistress.  Well she got her on plans. 
So they still don't know about the other two sister in the states. He is going to feel really small when he finds out and the first thing his mom will say to him I did it for you which is a lie her and greedy granny did for themselves out of greed and jealousy. RH will really feel lost in that big place with four rightful heirs.  @gene, @Ldy Gmerm,

@farhah_1986 - No. RG and RH still doesn't know. The two villians is trying to treat JES nice now so that they doesn't get kicked out. I forgot to mention that the grandfather is refusing to teach RG and JES the art of sauce making but wanted them to teach each other, wanting/forcing the two to get along. There is a time jump of 6 years.

Sorry was traveling all day...Recap 11:GP is furious about the letter of withdrawal and tears it up. He tells the secretary to get HN asap. RG and CR tries to find HN but they couldn't find her either. JS brings in a bunch of sticks because she expects there will be severe punishment for HN.  As GP comes home HN coincidentally(?) comes home too. HN: "Please let me learn how to make soy sauce"GP: Repeat it again.HN: I want to learn how to make soy sauce.GP: That school was created from HS(name of soy sauce company)  capital.   At this school, because the grandson of HS was involved in a fight a letter of withdrawal had to be handed over. Yet you want to learn to make soy sauce? How can you be so upfront about it? HN: I am sorry, because of school regulations i had to withdraw. But because I was an HS grandson it would've been troublesome for the teachers. I didn't want GP's reputation to be stained  so I handed in my letter of withdrawal. I have thought through for a while now about wanting to learn to make soy sauce. GP: Shut up! The words that you can say in this house is only "I am wrong".  The rest are unnecessary!  Before HN fully repents for his actions don't let him in the house. Understand?!CR: yes.
CR is impressed that HN has been kneeling for 4 hours. JS says isn't it great since he is born to kneel. She thinks HN has no right to learn about making soy sauce and tells CR to not tell anyone about the thugs brought in by RG. 
HM comes in to try to help HN stand up but maid tells her not to because of what GP had said.  The next day HS calls the maid asking whether HN came home safely, she got cut off before the maid could tell her about HN's situation. GP asks the secretary to investigate this way. HM tells her mom about HN's situation and asks for help.

GP: The one who called in the thugs is RG? RG?S: yes chairman. The two masters got into an argument because HN wanted to bring in his mother. This is not the first time they got into a fight. They have be in conflict ever since they were little. GP: How come I never heard of them fighting? I eat with them everyday!S: It's because master HN has been enduring all this time. And...GP: what?S: RG's mom and gm has been playing favorites among the masters.  They have been protecting RG and no one's there to comfort master HN.
HS comes rushing in about how mistreated HN is with her school problems etc. HN tells her mom that she will show GP her will and tell her mom not to worry. GP comes in and tells everybody to come in.
GP: Everyone's responsible for an incident within the family.  Talk about what what responsibility you had for this incident. I want to confirm something, I want to know the truth.  RH!RH: As a big sister, i don't care for HN enough. HM: Yes, yes. I let my brother getting in danger and beat up by thugs but didn't know anything about it. JS: I, I am the elder in this family - i don't know anything. I also don't know what HN is thinking. I have been aging without much knowledge( basically she is saying she is aging with no regard to surrounding )CR: Yes, father, I don't have enough power. I am just focused on my own anger issues . Because he started the incident out of the blue, as a mother I have done all i can. But this thing happened.. I am very open, father.GP:HNHN: I am sorry for causing trouble.GP: RGRG: I did wrong to HN.GP: HSHS: I have nothing to say.GP: you all went around and talked and HN is quitting school. But no one has admitted it is his responsibility. Fine....
GP leaves and the gang of four discussing about the awkwardness of GP and suspects something might happen. HS tells HN those guys are shameless. She wants HN to finish school because that was the whole point of having her back in the household in the first place. HN tells her mom that she is very peaceful. Even though she faced some difficulties from this incident but she knows what she wants to do now. She says after she graduates she would turn back to a girl but after seeing how powerless she and her mom was during the incident she wants to build up power to protect her mom. And that entails learning the way of the sauce. HS at home is happy that HN has finally grown up.
The next day HS calls a meeting with the lawyer and the 2 beaches. CR and JS tells her to watch her bounds since she is an "outsider". But HS says she is still the "master" by law. In that aspect she is also the mother/caretaker of RH and RG by the family tradition. She tells them that although she can't appoint RG as the Specialist (the title he is going for) but SHE CAN MAKE HIM NOT BECOME the Specialist. She wants to know the truth why GP is letting HN withdraw from school. She thinks to herself she is using her power to help HN achieve her dream.
CR regrets not being on the registry but JS tells her there was no time since the father died so suddenly. And there's zero chance for them to be now. HM tells HN that she might not be as knowledgeable after she quits school but HN says she can still learn. HN tells HM she wants to help HM in getting into school too. CR and and the gang finds out that the secretary did some investigation and thinks "GP will eventually know". RH is more worried than RG because RG is the heir so he wont  be touched. CR and JS and worried about whats to come. JS decides to use "Sunshine tactic". 
Cue the plotting themeJS:CR, lets use the "sunshine tactic".CR: Sunshine tactic? What do you mean?JS: It's an old tale, you should know. The story of a traveler walking down the street  and the sun and the wind bet on who will make the traveler take off his clothes first.CR: The story of wind and sun bettering who will make the traveler take off his clothes first right?JS: Yes, so what happened?CR: To force the traveler from taking his clothes off the wind blew at him with all his might.  Instead of taking his clothes off the traveler instead put on more layers. JS: Yes, and?CR: The sun didn't do anything but just stood there and shined upon him. The traveler felt hot so he took off his clothes. JS: Yes, this is "sunshine tactic". Warmly embrace HN. To get rid of HN we were so tough and cruel to him as a family. But the result is like getting water with a bamboo basket(old saying because bamboo basket has holes so water is never retained).CR: HS and HN, we did indeed gang up on them. JS: If we continue to fight them our RG would be in trouble. We should therefore use sunshine tactic and let them come to our side. Only with this things will die down.
Another family meeting...GP: I have something to say so I gathered all of you here. I can't just let this go. CR: Father, I apologize for intruding on your speech. There's something I want to say to you.  I am a criminal, please hear me out. GP: What is it?CR: The incident involving HN quitting school falls on the mother, my shoulders. Actually recently I have not been in a great relationship with HN. Even though he calls me mom but instead I have favored RG over him - i have troubled HN. Because I didn't care enough for HN RG became out of control and they got into fights. RG is not at fault here, it is all my fault as a mother.   HN you must be very tired right? Mother is very sorry towards you. GP:so?CR: I will change, father. I have talked it over with HS and now with you, from now on everything that happens in this house will be my responsibility and I won't ignore it. I swear, father. GP: Ok, then you swear in the name of the child's father. What do you think about HN's decision?CR: That.. I will respect the suggestion by HN and his mother. This is something they though thoroughly over so I have to respect their decision. I also agree to HN wanting to learn to make soy sauce. It is good to have both sons learning together. GP: What do you think?HS: If GP allows, I would follow HN's decision to learn the trade. GP: Ok then. I was originally going to take this opportunity to kick out those who were alienating family members but if everyone thinks it this way then HN, you will join your brother in studying how to make soy sauce. But, there is a condition - I don't intend to teach you two. You two be each other's teacher. CR:What do you mean, father?GP: Just like what I said. The course for becoming a master has sauce master and sauce materials.  Like the book states, RG teaches HN and vice versa - you two become teachers! Through this method , passing all the exams. Using this method will impart something to all of you.   GP thinks to himself that family has to be focused to have any meaning.
6 years later....
YC DH

At Italy, DH is testing  two chefs on what he added. They guessed beef and beans respectively but DH tells them he added korean soy sauce. He gets a call about flight back to korea. 
Then we cut to Shanghai, China where YC is talking to a district manager about his boss chairman Sul (DH's dad). YC apparently is the attack dog for chairman Sul and he lives for the chairman and will attack anyone who is troubling him. The guy tied up had some lawsuit targeting the chairman and YC is there to resolve it. He also gets called in by Chairman to return to Korea.
Preview:DH: Then, i can go to HS soy sauce?Chairman: It is a promise between I and the family by marriage. (whats the short word for it?)Some guy: He said you are crazy! What is the reason to be loyal to chairman Sul?RH?: It is the most dangerous ceremony to the HS's grandson GP: This is related to next year's ceremony.HN: I want to secretly investigate HS soy sauce's water.DH: I came to HS soy sauce wanting to taste the water. How does the water taste?GP: the ceremony is approaching..

Ok it took longer than i expected... But sometimes i like to translate important conversations.. Anyway, it seems YC is Chairman Sul's lackey and in turn "works for" DH since DH is the heir. It is an interesting relationship, a first for me since most of the male leads are mostly unrelated or brothers. I suppose there will be a lot of "backing down" from YC's side for HN's love due to his loyalty to Sul...
Also it seems from the preview there's an arranged marriage between Sul and H family. Given 2 of the daughters are abroad, HM being HM and HN posing as a boy it will probably be DH and HR AT FIRST until DH finds out the truth about HN and shifts to her? Still I feel the pace is rather fast given the length of the drama...
