So good to voiced out n shared our thoughts but we must liked/loved  GHS w/ due respect n responsibility, bcoz she's always our subject of discussion. Change agency or not it doesn't matter, she made a name of herself not bcoz of her agency but, bcoz of her hardwork, talents n skills that she's really capable of...Besides, aside FREEDOM very important to her LOYALTY in any form...I apologize if I make someone or anyone offended, these thread was made for GHS only n alone so please don't let others ride on her...Thanks, hve a nice day/night to all, Angel KOO FIGHTING!!!

Thanks @cheerkoo for sharing. From what I heard from a Korean friend (she's a stylist to a few celebrities in SK),a big star like  GHS always have a manager with her in every dramas she had. Although she don't have one permanent manager, YG always send her one.  If I'm not mistaken, she had a female manager in AE & male manager in Blood. 

@chaellyn sorry but I didn't quiet understand what you meant about what you said, "...these thread was made for GHS only n alone so please don't let others ride on her..." ?? I would like to think that we are free to discuss anything connected to GHS as long as "no shipping" her with other co-stars here in this thread. If for some reason other Sunnies posts offended you, you can always send a private message to her to avoid misunderstandings.

my fave so far April (with GHS sing it) , Fade Away, Summer Day and After 10 years 100 years ^^ but all track really have an awesome melody n i guess it suit well for the OST for drama or movie. hope one day GHS will compose a song (piano instrument) for others movie (not directed by her) then it could be another great achievement for her musical fields. 

i miss her so much, hope she didn't hide too long after she spoiled us with so many interview for Breath 2. best wishes for her ^^

The more I see, the more amazing she is and the more I learn, the more awesome she is. She is active as an actress, a movie director, an artist and more. This time, she has released an album and is showcasing her musical talent. The current release is her second New Age album, titled, Breath2-'After 10 Years, 100 Years'. The album contains 13 compositions and songs, some of which are OST from her movie, Peach Tree. She made all the 13 songs herself. She sings, she plays the piano herself and she produced the album herself. On top of that, she made the album jacket and the MV all on her own as well.

Considering that she is part of YG which is one of the biggent musical talent agency, it is an exceptional task. The reason is that YG is rumored to be exceptionally conservative when it comes to release of its music. However, she refers to her music as a home-based business without any outside interference.  Even if the company may work around the "idol system", it should acknowledge her as an artist by this time. Of course, the secular world is not giving a big response to her music as it was for her movies. As much as there are people who send her applause for her activity, there are those who criticize her for being all over the place. But, she does not care too much about that. Her talent and passion are overflowing to be just living quietly inside the success of a drama BOF that placed her on stardom.

Sunnies, let's keep talking about her Breath2 album while we wait for news and keep promoting it. Also please don't forget to rate the tunes at Itunes after. 

 I listen to it everyday. "Let see each other comfortably", track 6, is so refreshing. I particularly like it with the sounds of nature and the happy vibe. Everyday I am in awe that GHS composed all the tracks herself.  What talent!

I think it is a gift from God to hear music in her head!  Thank you, GHS-ssi for sharing it with us!  

Sunnies, let's keep sharing our love for GHS-ssi and for her Breath2 album!

I'm listening to the songs of KHS, but Why her mv not have many views ?? I think we can improve it! , We can Listen when we read a book (as I'm doing now, help you focus more on reading), while we write, or when we clean up, even when we bathe haha, I think that's also a way to help, people who have blogs can post them.

I happen to watch a teaser for a new drama called "Midnight Restaurant"...

It looks like the kind of a drama that would have stories of many different people. 

If so, it would be nice if GHS can appear in one of the episodes...

The drama has a nice feel...and it seems like a food of comfort for those in need of such nourishment...keke

Yes that seems like a drama with human stories. The kind GHS will love. Appearing in 1 episode will be great.

@S-sun, I was tempted. But, since twitter is so public to even those who are not her fans that I feel a bit uncomfortable...I feel like chicken. keke Once, I heard that she got a lot of hateful messages sent to her when she jokingly thought about asking one of the BB members for one of her movies. 

I am not quite sure what do star managers do...do they just drive actors around? or do they actually manage the career of the actors..meaning that they look for programs and dramas and etc to further enhance the career of their actors? Does anyone know? I know that GHS did not want managers following her around...but I really wonder if she has one that help her with her career?

@cheerkoo , I understand we have to be careful when posting publicly in this case.  

On the other hand we can't let antis stymie us looking out for GHS ' interests.. We don't have her manager's twitter id. With some other celebs, the manager relays messages to the celeb but with GHS, I don't think that's how it is. The managers seem to be more like assistants. I presume there must be some staff in the agency looking out for dramas/ projects for their members and they lobby for it? Not sure exactly how it works. I wish YG will invest more into her and help her get good projects.

Hahaha! If there is an opening, we all would love to be her manager, free of charge!

Hi everyone.  I wish for GHS' next project to be a straight out romcom ala Kim Sam Soon or Bridget Jones' Diary.  She really has excellent comedic timing which I believe has yet to be fully tapped.  I also read in one of her interviews that she doesn't mind putting on weight for a role. Fingers crossed! :-)

Hello Sunnies!  I hope you're having a happy weekend!   It's been awhile since I've actively participated in the forum, been taking care of an elderly parent, but I do visit all the time and read all of your updates and wonderful posts. 

I've been a fan of GHS forever, since way back, when it was so easy to be her fan.  I discovered her when I watched her in the daily drama Pure 19 and fell in love with this talented actress.  As far as I know, she didn't have many antis back then, even though she acted with idols like Danny from 1Tym,  Eric Mun, Minwoo, and Andy from Shinhwa ( they were super popular), Jo In Sung, just to name a few, and at that time I only knew that she acted.  And it was great being her fan.  Bit by bit, her other talents became known, primarily through her popularity in BOF, but to be honest, this is the point where she gained most of her antis as well, and things changed for her.  I'm sorry to say that even though I still love and admire her and support her decisions and everything that she stands for, it's a bit difficult to be a fan.  It's been discouraging and frustrating.  I almost couldn't watch all of Blood because of the negativity surrounding the drama, I didn't want to read or hear the negative criticisms, and it killed me when she had to apologize to everyone, her fans and co-workers for the less than enthusiastic reception that this drama received.  Still, I thought her portrayal of Rita was stellar and she was the only reason that I watched this drama. 

I have mixed feelings about YG, as far as promoting the actors.   I don't know how it is now, but she herself has stated that the YG president once approached her about switching to an agency who focused more on their actors, as everyone knows that this agency primarily focuses on their musical talents.  And she said no.  I understand that.  She was with them from almost the beginning, when all of the old timers were still there, and they are, to this day, a pretty tight knit group.  I believe she does have a special relationship with the YG president that's based on trust and mutual respect, he supports her in his way and gives her the freedom to do whatever.  So in that respect I feel she's in the right place.  However, I wish they would be more proactive in helping their actors, especially the females.  Another one of my favorites, Choi Ji Woo, has maybe had one drama under her belt that I know of since signing with them, and other than You In Na, you really don't hear too much about the female actors.  Dara from 2Ne1 is starting to break out into the acting field recently, she's already doing her second acting project.  It really is my hope that Hyesun will act again soon, and just move forward with her acting career.  Why not pair up with some of the actors from her agency?  They've got some good talent, both male and female, and I think it would be an interesting mix - Cha Seung Won, Jang Hyun Sung, Top, or how about Kal So Won, the cute little girl who played her sister in Take Care of Us Captain?

Sue, to answer your question about the managers, her old longtime manager who was with her through BOF but has since married and left, did do a lot for her. I think it's more than just driving them around and escorting them to events.  Back then, the managers were the point of contact, so if you wanted to discuss or arrange appearances and such, even acting projects, the manager was the first contact.  They did play a big role and it seemed like they practically lived with their clients. I'm not sure if Hyesun has a manager like that now.  I only know that I want to see her act again period.  Even if she likes challenges as an actress, I'd love to see her in a family type drama again, just because she was so wonderful in Pure 19, my favorite HS drama still to this day.

Dear kgrl43.  Your post is so heart wrenching.  I too was so crushed that KHS apologized to her Blood co-actors and crew thus taking all the blame for its local ratings failure.  I really do hope that she's not thinking that she ruined AJH's career.  I firmly believe till the day I die that Blood was way ahead of its time.  The general Korean public were not ready for a drama where there were no rich boy poor girl, second lead bs and a oh so simple plot.  BLOOD is not a spoon fed plot. I have seen my fair share of high rated dumb dramas (cough...Heirs...cough).  It pains me to think if only local viewers gave this drama a chance and did not let their personal biases prevented them watching this drama.
