*** I've watched his latest movie "Decibel".  I got confused at first watching the movie but when the flashbacks appeared, I got it. The film takes a new turn and shocks viewers with its unexpected plot twist as it reveals what had happened to them in the past. “Decibel” is a story that is more about the sacrifices of the boys in uniform than bombs. I love KRW’s performance where he’s trying to find the bomb as quickly as possible. Lee Jong Suk plays Mensa member and Navy captain Jun Tae Sung who turns out to be the bomb maker. Cha Eun Woo showed his brilliant acting performance and increased my expectations of him as an actor. It's good.....  :kaching1:

*** Filming of K-dramas are not only limited to the Korean peninsula. It's not unusual for the production staff to take us on a global adventure, filming in places like Canada, the United States, and Europe. Through these filming locations, we are able to see and experience even the tiniest bit of Europe's various cultures and landscapes. We're allowed us to travel all across Europe without leaving the comfort of our home like "Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me", which was filmed in Slovenia. It was later revealed that the specific filming locations can be found in Bled Castle, Logar Valley, KranjLjubljana, and Predjama Castle, among many more. When you watch this drama, the cinematography was absolutely breathtaking, which can be accounted to the gorgeous scenery of Slovenia.

*** "The First Responders" Season 2 will air in August, according to SBS. The drama will be titled The First Responders and National Forensic Service. The show delves into the partnership between firefighters and police officers as they track down a serial arsonist. The writer wasted no time and started working on the script for Season 2 right after Season 1 aired, aiming to deliver a well-crafted continuation. Kim Rae Won immediately resumed filming for Season 2 after a short hiatus. I'm looking forward to the S2 since I've watched the S1.   :twerk2:

*** Will “The First Responders 2” continues the success of “Taxi Driver 2”? The drama returns in August with season 2. The first season ended with an intense ending that heralded the beginning of a cooperative investigation to catch an arsonist, raising anticipation for season 2. As SBS continues to release hit dramas through the season system, attention is focused on whether they can maintain their success.   :heart2beat:

*** On a reality show, Kim Rae Won surprised me by sharing each suicide when she ended her first love at the age of 18. According to him, he and the actress are older than each other in a movie. Realizing many similarities, he increasingly loves her girlfriend. The actor’s family and the other half are quite far apart, however, he still tries to arrange work to shuttle his lover every day. Both have more than a year of salty, happy relationship. He recalled the date on the bus, which was also the day the two fell apart. He said that when they were sitting next to each other, his girlfriend received a message from a stranger. No matter how much he tried to ask, he only received the silence from her. Then she frankly said goodbye to him. Due to the sudden, sadness and being too young, he jumped into the river to commit suicide. Fortunately, it was winter, the water was cold, he swam to the shore himself and told himself that it will be the last time he will do something like that. After that first love affair, until now, he has never publicly announced his girlfriend or been involved in romantic rumors with anyone. Never having shared the name of his first love, most viewers thought that the girl that he mentioned was Lee Yo Won – who once worked with him in Scent of a Man. After parting ways with him, she married Park Jin Woo – a businessman and a professional golfer.

*** Regarding Disney Korea’s OTT Content Team disbanded, are the 2024 K-Drama lineup at risk of cancellation? I guess the 2023 lineup may still be safe and this include "First Responders 2". Disney + is closing down TV channels operated in the Korean, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asian markets. Additionally, Pixar, the Disney animation studio, laid off 75 employees, including directors and producers, due to the box office failure of the film “Lightyear.”  :heart2:

“The First Responders” Season 2 Confirms Premiere Date

20230627015256_the-first-responders_post

The second season of “The First Responders” is gearing up for its premiere!

Starring Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeon, “The First Responders” is a drama about members of the police force, fire department, and paramedic team as they come together to help their city in any way they can.

Season 1 started airing last November and concluded its 12-episode run at the end of 2022.

The literal translation of the official Season 2 title is “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station and the National Forensic Service.” Season 2 will draw out the upgraded teamwork between the fire department that puts out the fires, the police force that catches crime, and the National Forensic Service (NFS) that catches evidence as they face unprecedented events.

Kim Rae Won, who was in perfect sync with his character Jin Ho Gae in Season 1, Son Ho Jun, who showcased both a sharp and humane side as firefighter Bong Do Jin, and Gong Seung Yeon, who impressed through her portrayal of paramedic Song Seol with a strong and easygoing charm, will reprise their roles and showcase upgraded acting skills and stronger chemistry in Season 2.

The production team remarked, “Season 2 of ‘The First Responders’ is a drama that the production team and actors who paved the way for ‘Korean [investigation] cooperation dramas’ through ‘The First Responders’ decided to produce in order to present viewers with intense pleasure once again.”

“The First Responders” Season 2 is set to premiere on August 4 at 10 p.m. KST as the follow-up to “Revenant.” Stay tuned!
