^^ No, GW and HI did NOT go out before she coupled with SH. They were REALLY close sunbae hoobae relationship coz they knew each other since they were kids.. and HI always looked after GW, but only has a friend/mom kind of way.. but GW jjaksalanged her.. sadd.. but HI didn't want to go out with him because he comes from a pretty poor family, does not have a great job, and he's always getting into accidents.

Anyways, this is kind of random, but I LOVE how HI isn't they typical evil girl who tortures the main girl in this drama. This is like the only drama I've watched where the girl who doesn't get the guy eventually is so sweet, kind, and beautiful. It's a change for once!

^ thankz for clearing that up for me =) i figured they didnt go out but i was jus wondering...im only on the 7th episode..lol gosh by the summaries ive read, i can only imagine that soon SH will realize he likes JN ( most typically) and while HI gets jealous, she tries to lean on GW...but later relaizes that GW alsooo likes JN!! and then so on and so forth...i dunno, i watched too much k-dramas...i think too much...

Here's 37 finally!!

GW tells SH that if he didn’t approve of the proposal there must be something wrong with it. SH tells GW not to take it personally. GW says he won’t since it’s business and that’s SH’s style. He tells SH he’ll prepare a better proposal next time.

Jae Doe finds out that Min Sook is starting a kimchi business and feels bad that she has to work. The Grandma tells him not to worry about it and that it’s not too hard.

GW continues his work on his proposal and researches diligently. JN is at home with JO sampling GW’s sushi and JO finds out that GW broke up with his gf. JN tells her that he lost her to someone and doesn’t believe it because she hasn’t heard anything. JN wonders who the guy he lost his gf too is so she can give him a piece of her mind. SH stops by with the box of clothes. SH tells JN he thought about wearing it, but he thought it might end up on some website so there’s nowhere else to throw it away. JN tells JO she doesn’t want it because it’s not her style and it’s uncomfortable for her to wear that type of clothes. JO tells JN to tell her Oppa that she’s thankful. JN tells JO that she can’t tell someone she’s grateful when he’s dropping of his garbage. SH talks to himself and tells JN that he’s paid her back now and it’s all settled. SH finds out that JN is monitoring GW’s sushi and both JO and JN tell him it’s a great idea.

Min Sook delivers her kimchi order to a customer but finds out that they’re out of town.

JN meets GW at the park where he’s playing basketball. JN tells GW that she thought about what he told her and she agrees with him that he didn’t lose his gf, but let her go. GW asks why she changed her mind and JN tells him that there isn’t a better catch then him. He has a good personality, he has good looks and is a good worker. GW tells her it’s ok, whether he lost her or sent her, she’s still not with him. JN gives GW kimbop and he tells her of his concerns with his dad and his work problems (sushi proposal). SH gets a carwash and they find his car keys that JN lost. SH sees JN at the office and he’s about to joke with her about his keys, but GW interrupts and gives JN a coupon for a free family portrait. JN tells GW to call her as GW leaves. JN asks SH about his car keys and SH’s attitude changes and he tells JN to look for his keys if she has time to waste. HI asks SH if there’s something wrong. SH tells her nothing is wrong.

SH tells HI that they should go see a movie, but HI tells him that the first time they tried to watch it he went to the gag concert and the second time he lost his keys. She tells him they should just give up if something comes up again. HI tells her she’ll get really upset if he backs out again and SH assures her he won’t.

Min Sook has too much kimchi left and calls JO and asks if she wants it. JO tells her she has too much. Grandma tells Min Sook to send it to SH’s house, but Min Sook pretends she didn’t hear her. SH and Nara visit Nara’s brother who is in the hospital and Nara tells Jae Man to stay home since HI will come over soon. Grandma calls Jae Man and finds out that they’re out of kimchi. She tells Min Sook to bring it to SH’s house. HI is at SH’s house and the door rings. She opens the door and meets Min Sook. Min Sook is happy to see HI and thinks she’s there for work matters

Episode 38

SH and Nara return home. Min Sook finds out that SH and HI are a couple. Jae Man asks Min Sook about GW’s gf and says they should have a double wedding (which Nara rejects). Min Sook is distraught after hearing the news and tries hard to hold back tears. SH introduces HI as the woman he’s going to marry. Nara asks Min Sook about HI. Min Sook tells her that she and SH make a good couple. Nara asks Min Sook if she thinks HI will get along with GW’s fiancée. Min Sook tells her there’s no need to worry about such things. Later Min Sook asks GW if he likes HI a lot. GW asks why she’s asking that, Min Sook replies that she’s just wondering because he comes home late. GW asks Min Sook if there’s anything he can get for her. Min Sook tells GW to eat well and live a happy life.

Next day at the office, HI and SH discuss GW’s sushi idea. He is about to reject the proposal, but HI asks SH to give just 1 hour for the sushi. SH asks who will take responsibility if it fails, HI tells him that she will. SH agrees to the idea.

Jae Man takes out his old cell phones and chooses one to reactivate for Ok Du. Jae Man is at the café and asks Ok Du to choose a ring tone for him. Ok Du gives him her phone number in the process.

GW walks into his office and all his co-workers are downcast and tell him their sorry that he worked so hard. GW is sad that his proposal was shot down again and turns to leave, but his co-workers throw him a surprise party celebrating the good news.

GW runs into JN and tells her the news. GW tells her he owes her a meal and asks her to lunch tomorrow. JN tells him she has an appointment with JO, but that she’ll meet him afterwards. SH sees them together and asks what they’re doing. JN tells SH she was only congratulating him. SH tells her if she’s delivering food she should just go about her business. JN tells SH she was on her way and that he should mind his business. JN leaves and GW asks SH if they were a dog and cat in their former lives, because all they do is fight when they meet. GW tells SH he’s thankful for his help and that he wants to treat him to lunch. SH tells him he has a meeting but that he’s free tomorrow.

JN and JO prepare for their picture. JN tells JO she has to wear what she’s picked out. JO agrees, but that she has to wear what SH bought then. JN tells her she doesn’t want to but grudgingly agrees. JN, JO and Dong Sa take a family picture together and afterwards JN arrives at the company for her lunch with JN. HI asks GW if anything happened at home and GW tells her nothing happened. SH waits for the elevator and sees JN walk through the door in her new outfit.

Episode 39

JN sees SH and is embarrassed. She tells him she’s only wearing it today so she can take a family portrait with her mom. SH tells her the outfit suits her well. JN tells him she knows it really doesn’t and that she’s really uncomfortable in these clothes. SH asks her what brings her to the company and she tells him that she’s here to see HI and her “fan”. SH tells her that GW will be down in a second, but JN ignores him and gets in the elevator. GW doesn’t recognize JN in her new clothes and all the office staff is shocked to see JN’s transformation. Joong Gyoung walks into the office and asks everyone who that Angel was. SH, GW and JN go to Bennigan’s for lunch. GW asks SH if he recognizes JN. SH acts like it’s no big deal. GW tells him he thought she was a model and was prepared to ask her for her signature. JN asks him to stop with the compliments, because she doesn’t have money to pay for the meal. SH tells them he’s paying for the meal. GW and JN don’t know what to order (presumably because they’ve never been there before) as SH lists his order. JN tells GW they shouldn’t order anything complicated and tells the waiter to give them the most expensive items on the menu.

Nara and Jae Man have lunch together and Nara tells Jae Man that Min Sook looked upset after seeing HI. She tells him that Min Sook was probably upset because she realized that HI was better than GW’s fiancée. Jae Man tells her that Min Sook isn’t the type of person to get jealous.

Min Sook finds a ring and a poem (about a broken heart) in GW’s desk. In the office, Ri Ra tells Joong Gyoung that his “honey” (GW) is cheating on him with the angel. HI asks everyone who the Angel is and Kyoung Joo tells her it’s JN. HI tells everyone that JN and GW are family friends. She receives a phone call from Min Sook asking to meet her.

At the restaurant, SH asks JN if she took a nice family picture. JN tells GW she was sad whenever she saw his family picture. GW asks her if she doesn’t have a family picture with her family in the US. JN doesn’t know how to answer and SH breaks in and asks GW to do a good job with the broadcast. JN asks GW to go on a date with her after lunch. GW asks her how she can play basketball dressed like that. JN tells him she wants to see the fall leaves at the palace before they clear them. SH tells her they can’t go during office hours and GW tells her he can’t today because of a meeting. He gets a call during lunch and leaves JN and SH. SH asks JN how she likes living with JO. SH asks her what she likes about it. JN asks SH how long he’s known that she was an orphan. JN tells SH that he doesn’t have to acknowledge it, but no matter what anyone says, she’s JO’s one and only daughter. SH tells her that if she’s JO’s daughter, his family and GW’s family will both treat her like JO’s daughter. JN tells SH that it’s the first time he said anything nice. JN asks SH if it’s the first time he’s smiled in front of her, SH doesn’t answer her and JN tells him it’s not very cute though.

Min Sook meets HI and tells her disappointment. She thinks HI broke up with GW when a better guy came along. HI tells Min Sook she has a misunderstanding. HI tells GW that her and GW are close friends, but she’s never thought about him as a boyfriend. HI tells her that GW didn’t have the heart to tell his family that they never had a relationship. Min Sook tells HI it probably would be difficult for her to be with GW. She says she can’t hate HI even if she wanted to.

SH takes JN to the palace to see the fall leaves. JN plays with the leaves and SH tells her that she’s good at playing by herself. JN tells him that she learned to do that at the orphanage. JN tells SH she thought he wasn’t supposed to come here during work hours. SH tells her he thought they had to come before the rake all the leaves. JN wonders why couples are walking together at the palace, because there’s a saying that they will separate. SH tells her that in history, many people walked his road to get a divorce because there was office nearby. JN asks SH if he wants to know how she played with someone else. SH warns her not to do something embarrassing to him. JN tells him not to worry and hugs a tree. She tells him the tree feels better and you can understand what the tree is saying too. SH tries hugging the tree too and JN scares SH by yelling at him and tells him to find his own tree.

Jae Do gets a parking ticket and is fired from his job.

JN and SH come back from lunch together and meet HI in the lobby. HI is surprised to see them together. JN asks HI what she wanted to see her for, but HI tells her to come back next time. JN asks HI if she’s felling ok, but HI tells her she’ll see her next time. HI remembers the box of clothes that were on SH’s desk and realizes that it’s the same clothes that JN was wearing. SH asks HI if she’s upset because he and JN walked in together. HI asks him if he really doesn’t know the real reason she’s upset.

Episode 40

HI leaves the office furious at SH. Yoo Jung notices how upset HI is and she listens to HI and SH’s conversation and she hears HI ask SH why he bought JN clothes. SH clears up the misunderstanding with HI. Yoo Jung asks HI why SH bought JN clothes. HI asks her mom not to cause more trouble, but Yoo Jung tells her that SH could turn into his dad and they need to make sure that never happens.

GW is up late preparing for the broadcast and Min Sook checks in on him. He is about to tell her about HI, but Min Sook tells him to wait until after the broadcast. The next morning, GW’s family offers words of encouragement and support.

Jae Man tells Nara that GW’s broadcast is today, but Nara asks him how they can trust GW. Nara tells SH to cancel the show. SH tells her he can’t change it, so Nara tells him to change the broadcast time or that she would directly contact the broadcast people to change the time.

Min Sook tries to prepare the Grandma about HI and GW and tells her that HI’s family is probably against the marriage because of their family. Grandma tells her not to say such things.

Back at work, everyone finds out that GW’s sushi broadcast has been moved to 8pm when a popular drama is aring. GW goes to SH and asks him why he changed the time. SH tells him to show him his ability and do a good job. HI also asks SH why he changed the broadcast time. SH tells him he doesn’t know if he can trust GW, but if he does a good job, he can get a good broadcast time next time. SH asks HI where her ring is and she tells him that her parents lost it.

Yoo Jung visits Nara and asks her about Jong Nam and why SH bought her clothes. Nara pretends to know why and tells her he probably bought it because she’s JO’s adopted daughter. Yoo Jung tells her she’ll let this go, but if something like this happens again she won’t stay quiet. Nara tells Yoo Jung if something like this happens again, she’ll kick JN out (fire her?).

Nara visits JO at her diner (to inquire about JN). She asks JO if she’s by herself, JO tells her JN went to watch GW’s broadcast.

Back in the studio, GW realizes he needs a poster which he left in his office. JN volunteers to get it and races back to the office. As she rushes to bring it back to the studio, she collides with Nara. Nara tells JN she should be careful and watch where she’s going. JN tells her that the wall prevented them from seeing each other so they’re both in the wrong. JN offers her hand to Nara to help her up, but Nara slaps her hand away.

친구들 모임에 함께 가자던 해인의 요청을 거절했던 석현이 종남과 함께 있었다는 사실을 안 기웅은 석현에게 오해 없게 행동하라며 충고하고. 종남이 석현 눈에 자주 띄는 게 못마땅한 나라는 종남을 해고하려 한다.

한편 재만은 옥두에게 은빈이라는 아들이 있으며, 지금은 떨어져 살고 있다는 사실을 알고 안타까워한다.

Gi Woong finds out that Suk Hyun, who told Hae In he was meeting friends, went to meet Jong Nam instead. He advises Suk Hyun not to do anything that might cause misunderstandings. Nara disapproves of Jong Nam hanging around Suk Hyun and tries to get Jong Nam fired. Jae Man finds out that Ok Du has a son named Eun Bin who she's separated from and he feels sorry for her.

재만의 생일과 온천여행을 놓고 갈등하던 말자는 온천여행 쪽으로 마음을 굳히고. 석현과 결혼할 여자가 해인이라는 사실을 말자에게 어떻게 말해야하나 걱정하던 민숙과 재도는 말자의 여행 소식을 듣고 잘된 일이라며 안도한다.

재만의 생일날, 재옥은 종남에게 같이 가자고 말하지만 종남은 할 일이 많다며 거절하고.

Mal Ja (the Grandma) debates on whether to go on a scheduled trip to the hot springs or Jae Man's birthday dinner. Min Sook and Jae Doe worry about Mal Ja finding out that Hae In is Suk Hyun's fiancee and don't know how to break the news. Min Sook and Jae Doe are relieved to hear that Mal Ja decided to go to the hot springs. Jae Ok invites Jong Nam to go to Jae Man's birthday party, but Jong Nam declines and tells her that she has lots of work to do.

여행에서 예정보다 일찍 돌아온 말자는 재만의 생일 집에 나타나고, 거기서 해인이 석현과 결혼할 여자라는 걸 알고 놀란다. 유정은 해인과 석현의 궁합이 좋다며 기뻐하고, 받아 온 택일대로 음력 섣달 그믐날에 두 사람을 결혼시키려고 한다.

한편, 석현과 종남은 함께 점심을 먹고 오던 중 과일주스전문점에서 개업 3주년 기념 이벤트행사로 나눠준 경품권에 당첨되는데..

Mal Ja returns earlier than expected from her trip and arrives at Jae Man's birthday dinner. She is surprised to find out that Hae In is Suk Hyun's (not Gi Woong's) fiancee. Yoo Jung finds out that Hae In and Suk Hyun area good match (from a matchmaker/ psychic?) and that December 30th (lunar calendar) is a good wedding date for them. After Jong Nam and Suk Hyun have lunch together, they stop by a juice bar celebrating their 3rd year anniversary. They enter a raffle/ lottery given by the store.

가족들의 걱정과 우려 속에 재도는 택시운전을 시작하고, 재만은 은빈이의 겨울잠바를 사서 옥두에게 안겨준다. 석현은 전날 종남과 함께 점심을 먹었던 포장마차에 해인을 데리고 가서 닭발 먹기를 시도하고, 어제와 똑같이 과일주스 전문점에 들려 경품권을 긁어본다.

한편, 말자는 기웅과 해인의 일을 곰곰 생각하던 중 좋아하는 여자를 어떻게 제수로 맞냐며 나라를 찾아가는데..

Concerned about his family, Jae Do begins a new career as a taxi driver. Jae Man buys a winter coat for Eun Bin and gives it to Ok Du. Suk Hyun takes Hae In to the same place he had lunch with Jong Nam and orders all the same things. Suk Hyun takes Hae In to the same store and gets a raffle ticket with Hae In. Mal Ja thinks about Suk Hyun and Hae In's relationship and wonders how Hae In will be sister in-law to Gi Woong and decides to visit Nara.

말자는 석현과 해인의 결혼을 반대하고 나선다. 나라는 말도 안 된다며 발끈하고, 말자의 반대를 알게 된 유정은 그 원인제공자로서 장기웅이라는 이름을 처음 듣게 된다.

한편 석현은 경품권 당첨으로 얻은 놀이동산에 종남과 함께 갈 것인지에 대해 고민하다가 결국 가기로 결심하는데.. 해인에게서 전화가 걸려온다.

Mal Ja tells Nara she is against Suk Hyun and Hae In's marriage. Nara gets upset at her and tells her that's ridiculous. Yoo Jung finds out that Mal Ja is against the marriage and hears the name Chang Gi Woong for the first time. Suk Hyun plans to go to an amusement park with the tickets that Jong Nam won from the raffle. As he is about to go, Hae In calls him....

I agree with you about HI. It would be atypical for the sweet, pretty, nice girl not to get the guy. But I have a feeling she'll realize she's had her eyes on the wrong guy. The only evil one we have worry about is the awful Nara

Episode 41

JN leaves Nara and Nara asks her if she’s an employee here. JN answers that she is and runs back to the studio. Joong Gyoung and Ri Ra get nervous because calls aren’t coming in. There’s only 10 min. left and Gi Woong finds out that the chef has a badge/credentials that he received in Yokohama. Gi Woong makes a last ditch effort and asks the chef to go on air with him. As soon as the chef goes on air, calls begin coming in but there is only 3 min. left in the broadcast. SH allows 10 more min. for the broadcast. GW’s idea of bringing the sushi chef on air pays off. The sushi does well and sells out (?)

Nara waits for SH in his office and tells him that she collided with a rude girl.

JN brings food for the office staff to celebrate their success. GW asks about SH and JN offers to go fetch him. SH is in his office and he seems upset thinking about GW hugging HI and JN after he went off air. JN scares SH and tells him to join them in the office.

Back at SH’s home, Nara tells Jae Man about her collision. Nara is furious about her stocking being ripped and the way she talked to her. Jae Man tells Nara how proud he is of GW and is about to suggest that GW should be promoted, but Nara interrupts him and tells him not to get any ideas.

SH and HI leave work together and SH asks HI what happened to her ring. HI says he left it in the bathroom after washing her hands, but it was gone when she went back to look for it. SH asks if the ring means nothing to her. HI asks him why he changed. Last time, he told her he would buy her a new ring if she lost it. SH asks HI if she’s still mad at him about JN’s clothes.

Back at HI’s house, Yoo Jung is still thinking about JN’s relationship to SH. She asks Byung Du what it means if a man buys a woman clothes. He tells her that he either likes the girl or felt bad about something. He says he must like the girl to buy her clothes because men don’t spend money on women they don’t like.

GW comes home and tells Min Sook that HI isn’t his girlfriend, but that he liked her by himself. GW tells her that HI will be getting married to a real nice guy and that guy is SH. Min Sook tells him it’s probably for the best. Min Sook tells GW not to worry and that she’ll tell Jae Doe and Grandma.

Nara tells Jae Man that SH bought clothes for JN. Nara mutters under her breath she wants to see what JN looks like and Jae Man asks her if that’s why she went to visit JO today. Nara wakes up with a sore back and decides to find out who that girl is. She calls the company and asks for information about the employees at Well Being Home Shopping.

Episode 42

JN tells JO how happy she is that their family portrait will be ready today.

JN makes a delivery to the office and meets GW. GW tells her he has something to confess to her. That if he doesn’t see her at least once a day he gets bored. JN tells GW that she feels the same way. SH sees them laughing together and remembers how JN scared him in his office. He decided to pull a prank on JN and jumps out to scare her, but it’s Ri Ra not Jong Nam (who is on her cell phone and oblivious to SH). Ri Ra thinks SH was waiting for her and is flattered. SH is annoyed as JN walks off.

Nara goes through the company’s employee files. She can’t find the girl that collided with her. Jae Man asks her if she plans to fire her. Nara tells him it depends. Nara tells him that she’s never seen such a rude girl she wants to meet that girl’s parents too.

JO and JN visit GW’s house and brings their family portrait . The Grandma doesn’t recognize JN in the picture and can’t believe she looks so different. GW jokes that they used photoshop to make JN look prettier by removing moles, slimming the face, etc…

JN tells them it’s probably the clothes. The Grandma agrees and GW tells her she must’ve spent a lot of money on the outfit. JO tells everyone that SH bought her the clothes, but JN tells them she was able to keep it after monitoring it for work.

Min Sook asks JO if JN has a boyfriend. Min Sook tells her she’ll be sad when JN decides to get married. Min Sook tells her to make sure that JN stays close to home when she gets married and that JN will receive lots of love from her in-laws.

HI and SH shop for a gift for Da Jung for her college entrance exams.

Ok Du invites Myoung Ja to her home and Yoo Jung tries to get her to leave before her husband, Byung Du comes home. He arrives home earlier than expected and Myoung Ja and Byung Du meet after many years. They relive their past and share funny stories while Yoo Jung sits there green with envy.

Da Jung pulls all nighters to prepare for her college entrance exam.

Nara can’t find the girl in the employee files. SH tells Nara there isn’t anyone that rude in their company. Nara tells him she wants to teach her a lesson. SH asks her to just forget it. Nara changes the subject and asks SH about the clothes. SH tells Nara that he felt indebted to JN and wanted to repay her. Nara tells SH she won’t asks for further details, but that he needs to watch out for girls like JN. They know they can’t go far so they latch on to men like SH. SH tells Nara that JN is JO’s child, in place of Min Woo and that it was his fault (why he owes her).

HI tells GW that she met his mom at SH’s house. HI tells GW she felt bad about it, but GW tells him it’s him that should be sorry. HI gives GW a gift for Da Jung.

JN gives Da Jung gifts to do well on her exam. The toilet paper: to release the write answers, the mirror: the see the answers well, the fork: to pick/choose the correct answers. GW arrives also with gifts from SH, HI and from him. HI sends Da Jung a necklace with body oil attached to it. SH sends Da Jung a toy camera (take pictures is the same verb as to pick/ choose in Korean

Jae Man asks SH to give Da Jung a ride to her exam tomorrow since it’s far away and no one has a car in GW’s family.

SH arrives the next morning to take Da Jung to her exam. At the last minute, Min Sook decides to join Da Jung because she wants to see her off into the exam. SH and Min Sook watch Da Jung walk into her exam room. SH mutters how much Da Jung has grown up and Min Sook looks fondly at SH.

POSSIBLE SPOILER!!

I was just on the KBS message board for Peculiar Woman, Peculiar Man and apparently there are many people who believe that SH is Min Sook and Jae Doe's son. They think that Jae Man and Nara couldn't have any children, so Min Sook and Jae Doe let SH grow up with his uncle believing they are his real parents!!!

This is all speculation of course, but I can see there point. Something about the way Min Sook looked at SH in episode 43 after they dropped of Da Jung really touched me. Things will get really interesting....

Actually, I think you're right.. I think Jae Do knows too, now that I think about it. There was one episode where MinSook and Nara got in a fight, and Jae Do was all like comforting MinSook.. It's weird though, because even though SH didn't grow up as MinSook and Jae Do's son, they don't seem to feel anything towards him (except that one episode when MinSook was gazing at him). I don't think SH knos at all. He wouldn't be so indifferent towards MinSook and Nara if he knew, in my opinion. So yeah, SH and GW are prolly full brothers. I think mayb Nara couldn't get with child, so MinSook gave him SH. But for some reason, I don't think Nara knos it?.. Coz she's so 뻔뻔해 (bold and indifferent..) to Minsook. Remember in their fight, afterwards, Nara was wondering why Minsook was so furious?.. I mean, wouldn't it be common sense?

Episode 43

SH tells Min Sook not to worry about Da Jung because she’ll do fine. Min Sook tells SH she feels like she hasn’t done much for Da Jung as a mother. Nara hears Jae Man on the phone with Grandma and she finds out that SH gave Da Jung a ride and that Min Sook is with SH. She figures that Min Sook will invite SH to her house for breakfast and talk about GW (and ask SH to help him out). Jae Man is angry at Nara for always thinking negatively about his family and storms off.

In the car, Min Sook tells SH to come over for breakfast. Nara calls SH and fakes her back injury. SH tells Min Sook that it sounds bad and that he has to go home. Min Sook gets out of the car and tells him to go to his mom, but realizes she doesn’t have any money for the bus and walks home in the cold.

SH rushes home and tells Nara to go to the hospital for x-rays. Nara tells him she’s ok now and to give it one more day.

Min Sook who didn’t even have a coat, arrives home and catches a cold from walking the long distance.

Grandma tells JO that Nara injured herself falling down the stairs and asks her to stop by SH’s house to check on her. JN and JO are concerned about Nara and JO says they should go together and pay a visit to Nara. Min Sook, who is sick with the flu, prepares food for Nara so she can get better.

At work, JN and GW talk about treating Da Jung to a fun time after her exam. GW tells JN she should wear a uniform while making deliveries on her scooter to help market her business. JN tells GW if they ever run a business together they would do well. GW agrees and tells her there’s nothing they can’t do if they work together.

GW goes on his way and JN sees SH. She asks about his mom’s back. JN scolds SH for being at work, saying she would stay by her mom’s side. She asks him if his mom’s bones are weak since she fell. She tells him to get her calcium pills like she does for her mom.

Da Jung returns from her exam very upset because she doesn’t think she did very well. Min Sook tells Da Jung she can still go to college however badly she did. GW comes home and also comforts Da Jung. He jokes that people might actually think she studied for the exam. GW tells Da Jung to look at him. Even though he didn’t study hard, he still turned out well.

GW greets his mom and sees how sick she is. GW tries to get Min Sook to go to the hospital, but she refuses. GW finds out that Min Sook is sick from walking back from the exam facility after SH dropped her off on the street to go to his mom. He grows angry at SH when learns that Min Sook didn’t even have bus fare or a jacket .

HI visits Nara and asks about her condition. Nara is overdramatic and tells HI how she hurt herself when a female employee ran into her. SH tells Nara that it probably wasn’t an employee since she couldn’t find her information in the files.

GW thinks about his Grandma telling him how his mother walked home in the cold weather and leaves to find SH. He arrives at SH’s house and calls him to come out. SH asks GW what’s up and GW punches SH. GW asks SH if he only cares about his mom and if his mother matters to him at all. SH answers that he’s right, that he values his mom more than GW’s mom.

Episode 44

SH tells GW he’ll tell him a hundred times if he has to. That his mother is more important to him than GW’s mom. He asks if that’s a crime. GW asks him if that’s why he left his mom on the side of the road without a jacket and house slippers. He tells him he understand he had to go to his mom, but he should’ve at least left her taxi or bus fare. That she left with house clothes on and walked home the long distance. GW tells him he should’ve at least made sure she had money to get home. He tells SH that he didn’t even think of her as the neighborhood lady and now she’s home sick.

The next morning, SH’s family eats the soup that Min Sook prepared. Jae Man can’t believe Nara cooked the food and Nara tells them that Min Sook brought it. SH feels bad that Min Sook came by when she was sick. Nara tells SH that Min Sook looked fine when she saw her. She asks SH how he found out that Min Sook was sick, whether she told him. She tells them that if it were her, she wouldn’t say anything to anyone when she was sick (HA! YEAH RIGHT! )

JO tells JN to wear her nice clothes so they can visit SH’s mom. JN tells JO that SH’s mom must be a nice person since his dad is so great. JO tells JN to behave herself. JN promises to be good, but that she wants to wear her comfortable clothes.

At the office, GW ignores SH and HI asks SH if something happened between them.

SH leaves work to pay a visit to Min Sook. He apologizes to Min Sook and tells her that he didn’t think clearly because he was so surprised when he received his mom’s frantic call. Min Sook tells SH not to worry and that she felt good that he was so concerned about his mom. Min Sook asks SH how he knew about her condition and he tells her he overheard GW talking. Min Sook tells SH that HI seems like a terrific girl and that they make a wonderful pair.

Jae Doe meets with a friend (the former homeless man he shared lunches with). Jae Doe tells him he is in the process of taking tests to become a taxi driver. Jae Does hasn’t told anyone in his family because he wants to pass the tests first. He tells his friend to never give up and that good things come to those who wait.

Nara and Yoo Jung discuss wedding plans for HI and SH and decide to set a wedding date before the end of the year.

JN walks out of a store with a bag and meets SH on the street. He asks her what’s in the bag and JN tells him that it’s a secret. JN asks SH about his mom and he tells her she’s doing better. JN tells him that he’s a man of few words. SH tells her that his mother doesn’t like talking a lot either. JN is surprised because SH’s dad is talkative. She tells him that every family needs a daughter, especially mothers. She asks him if he’s ever heard the phrase that sons aren’t helpful. SH says he hasn’t. That all he’s heard was that my son is the best, my son is the most good looking. JN tells him that his dad isn’t anything like that, so he must take after his mom. SH tells her of course, because his mom is the best.

JO and JN have lunch together and JO asks her what’s in the bag. JO tells her it’s calcium pills for SH’s mom so her bones get stronger. JO is so happy that JN thought of such things. GW stops by for lunch and JN prepares a huge meal for him. GW’s mom calls him and he finds out that SH came by to visit Min Sook.

GW returns to the office full from the large meal and finds HI alone. He learns she hadn’t eaten lunch yet because of her work and that she doesn’t want to eat by herself. He pretends to not have eaten yet and tells her they should go get lunch. GW forces himself to eat a second lunch. HI asks GW if he’s close to JN and whether they’re dating. GW almost chokes on his food and tells not to be ridiculous because they’re family. GW asks her why she’s asking. HI tells him that they seem to make a good couple.

JO receives a call from Grandma that Min Sook is sick. JO wonders why both her sister in-laws are sick and JN tells her the two of them must be close. JO tells her that she wishes that were true.

JN makes a delivery to Well Being Home Shopping and runs into HI and GW returning from lunch. She asks GW how he can eat 2 meals after eating all that food at her diner. HI realizes that GW ate 2 meals so that she didn’t have to eat alone and GW tells her you don’t die from eating.

GW brings a cup of coffee to SH and they make amends. SH tells GW he didn’t think straight because of his mom’s condition. GW asks SH about his jaw and SH tells him it wasn’t that hard and that he won’t sit still if he hits him again. They pretend fight with each other and joke around.

Yoo Jung tells Byung Du that Nara wants HI and SH to marry by the end of the year. Byung Du angrily asks her if marriage is some game their playing.

JO and JN visit SH’s house to visit Nara. Nara comes out and realizes JN is the girl she collided with.

sara.. thanks so much once again.. it's getting soooo good.. for some reason, I don't get that mother & son vibe from SH & MS.. seeing how Nara dotes on him, I think he is indeed her son ( as with her character, I doubt she could treat him so well if he isn't.. hehe) I think HI is really worried about SH & JN.. i can't wait for u to watch today's episode.. HI looks upset seeing how against and frustrated SH is at the thought of firing JN.. ( at least that's what I thought from SH's actions).. hehe..
